BIOGRAPHY:
Skyler was born to a noble family of the Vahla. She has one older brother. Her Vahla clan is a matriarchy society. Women are few and prized over males. There was an ancient prophecy about an oracle being born to lead the clan back to glory. When Skyler was born, her parents wanted a life as close to normal for the girl. Her grandmother disagreed and murdered her parents (unknown to Skyler). Her grandmother molded Skyler to be her heir and rule the clan to glory as the prophecy said. Skyler hated all of it. The expectations of a noblewoman. The stiff and fancy clothes. Tinkering with ships and learning to fight were frowned upon and she was punished everytime she was caught doing these activities accordingly. Her grandmother arranged a marriage with Skyler to a cruel man who mysteriously died a few weeks after they were married.
Skyler took that opportunity to flee into the galaxy and escape her title and grandmother's expectations and plans.
Her powers as an oracle are only growing and she rarely gets any sleep unless she gets high on spice or becomes piss-poor drunk. There are several bounties on her head for petty crimes. Skyler wars with escaping her past and even though she may seem fiery and drunk, deep down, she does want to help others. And she wants to learn to control her cursed-powers.
