The Primeval Paragon known as Eyrecae Alzari was created by the Rakata in order to lead one of their slave races, the Qadiri. In this role Eyrecae fought in many battles for her masters over several decades, and in all of them she used a blade known as Skybreaker.
When Eyrecae was put into stasis following her final augmentations the blade was put in with her. However, no summons ever came and she slept for over twenty-five thousand years until awakened by [member="Kaida Taldir"] and Phylis Alince. Thus kept out of the tides of time for that long, the blade is still brand new despite the elapsed time outside.
Skybreaker is a weapon which is a curious mix of force imbued blade and lightsabre. It is most similar to the Eldorai Sarix, of which it was the primeval ancestor, but a masterwork version of that. Containing ancient technology and being forged to resist even the greatest perils, the blade is able to survive both with or without the power field active.
With the power field active Skybreaker has the cutting power of a modern lightsabre, but with the additional weight and heft of a physical blade. However, this presents the downside that it is heavier and thus slower to wield, even for the enhanced Paragon. In a duel versus a lightsabre the wielder will be disadvantaged.
The powercell contained within the blade recharges itself slowly though it can be connected to an external source too for faster charging. A full cell allows the power field to be active for six hours a day, though this is reduced if the blade is used to cut through tough materials. Even without the power field, the blade is sharp and resilient but it lacks the cutting power it has with the field on.
Contained within the hilt and crosspiece is a tiny repulsor engine which allows the blade to fly back to Eyrecae’s hand when she calls it using her gauntlets. This allows her to retrieve the blade from any location in line of sight with flight time of less than a minute. This can be incredibly effective for retrieving the weapon in battle, or even launching a surprise attack from the enemy’s rear.

- Can activate a power field which surrounds the blade and provides the same benefits as if it were a lightsabre.
- Can parry lightsabres and deflect blaster bolts with or without power field, though reflection accuracy is higher with the power field on.
- With the power field on can cut like a regular lightsabre. With power field off it cuts like a very sharp Force imbued/alchemised blade.

- Speed. The blade is quite heavy, meaning in a lightsabre duel the weightless opponent’s blade will be much faster and harder to catch.
- Reflection. Though she can reflect blaster bolts with her superior reflexes, Eyrecae lacks the preternatural Force senses to make it a viable tactic in most situations. Coupled with the weight of the weapon and reflection is situational rather
- Ion. A heavy ion blast will temporarily disable the power field making the blade a simple alchemised sword with no other special abilities.
- Trapped. The blade can only fly back to Eyrecae in a straight line, not through obstacles or through barriers. Also, a Force User pulling the blade away whilst it is flying will likely overpower the small motor and be able to divert it.
