BIOGRAPHY:
Skritch lived out his childhood as a poor kid on Corelia. In his teens he ran with various gangs until he got a job in a droid repair shop. He learned many of the computer and repair skills he has there. Around this time Skritch started gambling. His early career was marked by losses and many times he went hungry after a card game.
Eventually he got a job in a hanger where he learned to operate and repair ships. He also got good at gambling and developed skills he would later use in business such as the ability to read people. Skritch was invited to take part in a large card tournament where he came in second place earning him a small fortune of credits which he used to start a business buying ship parts (often illegally) and selling them.
Skritch was successful in his business and overtime developed into a droid manufacturer and finally a ship manufacturer.
