Skor II Invasion-ORC Defense Objectives

The following are the ORC’s objective locations for the invasion of Skor II. Remember to write fairly, take hits and have fun! It’s also a good idea to keep IC communication across different areas of Skor II when you can. If you have any questions, ask away.

Metrobig City—Independent and proud of their ability to survive on their own, as well as their wariness over outside intervention, the Squibs were initially resistant to ORC aid when it came to helping them rebuild. After meeting with some locals and getting a feel for Skor II’s zeitgeist, the Squibs gradually began to warm up to the ORC after bonding over their love of salvaging and refurbished vehicles. A makeshift flea market of sorts was setup over the rubble of what used to be downtown Metrobig, where Squib and non-Squib alike haggle over salvaged parts and other items of interest. At the center of this market is a memorial to the Squibs who’d perished in the previous attacks, a statue composed of varying metals. Names of the fallen have been laser etched into the metal.

Bargain ship parts will have to wait once the warning sirens blare. As the First Order arrives to tries and wrestle Skor II into their control, help the Squibs defend their homeland by utilizing whatever rusty, weird technology you find—barricade strongholds with junk, man a tensor canon to hurl junk at the enemy soldiers, grab your weapons which may or may not be suspiciously unstable and get creative! Work together with the local population to show the invading army that junkyard dogs have a nasty bite. Whatever you do, don’t get blown up.

Refugee Camp—With Skor II being one of the closest points between old GA and ORC space, the planet has become a waypoint for GA some refugees evacuating their now unprotected homes. An Adegabaydee-class station housing refugees has docked planetside, previously being in orbit above Skor II. Refugees are currently being sheltered in the only sturdy building that managed to survive the bombing rounds—a dilapidated hospital still miraculously standing but disfigured from war. Partially collapsed on one side, there isn’t much room to work with but there are plenty of people in need. As one of the few intact buildings, the hospital is currently caring for the wounded as well as doubling as a refugee center for those left homeless. Bring supplies and other forms of help to this place, whether it be organizing refugees, distributing food or helping the overworked medical staff with patients. Protect the civilians from the invading forces as they spread throughout the city. Whatever you do, don’t get blown up.

Palace Grounds—With the threat of the First Order looming on the horizon, delegates from both the AiE and the ORC are meeting with the Squib king concerning the state of his planet that’s currently in a tug-of-war between the ORC and the FO. Protect the Squib king as he rallies his people to protect their homeworld. Squibs, ORC and AiE personnel alike are tasked with protecting the king and the respective faction delegates. As warning sirens blare, protect the king from the onslaught and help him organize his planetary defenses if necessary. Whatever you do, don’t get blown up.

Outer Orbit— With the new addition of the Alliance personnel to the Coalition, a series of training exercises had been set up between members of both groups while doubling as an increased patrol around Skor II. The Alliance insisted that they were teaching the rag tag bunch of spacers military tactics but the spacers preferred to think of it as a way to help gently remove the stick from the Alliance’s collective backside.

The two intermixed groups were in the middle of their exercises when scanners detected hyperspace anomalies. IFF readers showed the bright red icons of First Order ships and one thing the two groups could agree on was, they didn't like the First Order. They would have to intercept the enemy fleet, defend Skor II and do their best to push the First Order out. Whatever you do, don’t hyperspace ram anyone. Or look cool doing it if you do!
