Description: Designed as an exceptionally lethal combat droid, shaped similar to a scorpion, the SKD-84 Combat Droid is a war droid designed by Subach-Innes to be fast and well-armed, though it does admittedly lack in armor. Similar to the droideka, the SKD-84 is designed to go all out on the offensive. If someone were to get behind it, they would have an exceptional opportunity to attack it without the droid noticing. Armament-wise, the SKD-84 has a pair of razor-sharp claws, inside of which are plasma cannons(the red glowing thingies). The tail carries a modular weapon mount, typically fitted with a composite beam laser and a light repeating blaster.

A key issue with the SKD, noted in testing, is its limited field of view. With the way the optics are set up, the droid only has a view of around 160 degrees. As the head has limited mobility, it cannot see enemies attacking from behind until it's too late. If in combat mode, it will rather consistently turn around to look for enemies, but not if it's been undisturbed. Surrounding it and letting someone attack from behind while the SKD is preoccupied is a suggested tactic.

Great picture. Looks very cool. Also, I applaud the research that must have gone into selecting what materials to make it out of.

On the whole, this thing is almost ready for approval. Just go through your first paragraph and specify what exactly "an exceptionally clear shot" entails. Such as; are the armor plates thinner at the rear of the droid? Is there an exposed power cable? exc.

1) How smart is this droid?
2) Can it tell friend from foe?
3) What sort of orders can it follow?
4) What limitations does it face? What sort of orders/conditions confuse it?

2: What combat droid can't?
3: The same orders any other droid of its type can.
4: It's a scorpion droid. Only orders that confuse it are truly outlandish ones(get me a coffee, scale this skyscraper, etc).
