Avarice is a greedy creature. He seeks knowledge en mass as knowledge is power. He's interested in esoteric findings and mapping out power structures and learning lost secrets.

has further plans for this one. I do belive Quinn and he traveled on the same vessel to Korribam once uppon a tome for celebration. Avarice will take most things he can get his hands in and is a very devious conniving sort and is un likely to correct or suggest any one has claim or ownership over his person.

I believe you are correct on this, that and Carnifex would be a connection for the pair to run into each other.
