Classification: Sith Temple and Academy, meant for the housing of Sith artifacts and knowledge, as well as the training of future Sith.

Location: The Academy is situated on the planet of Kalee. Located in the southern hemisphere, the main structure is set into an excavated and hollow mountain. Surrounding the main mountain like a moat, and giving life to the valley it is in is a river. Trees dot the entire landscape, with many other structures, all part of the academy, spread out.

Affiliation: Corin Zanith-Resurgent Empire

Description: The entire Academy is located in the southern hemisphere of the world Kalee. The main structure of the Academy is a former Kaleesh sacred temple, long left abandoned after one of the numerous planetary wars they constantly fought. The main temple has numerous caverns and chambers dug into the mountain itself, formerly rooms of worship, now repurposed to act as instructional rooms, libraries, and offices.

Spread out around the main temple, numerous other structures are spread out in the valley. Most have been taken by the Academy for use, becoming rooms of specialty, where Sith Masters who excel in certain areas will pass on that knowledge to chosen pupils. A river runs through the heart of the valley, giving life to a forest and rolling plains.

The valley is not a perfect place, however. Countless beasts, some forgotten by Kaleesh people themselves, inhabit the valley. To further add to the threats, savage Kaleesh outcasts live in the surrounding mountains, and will occasionally launch raids into the valley.

History: The valley used to belong to the first Kaleesh Warrior King, the first Kaleesh to unite all of Kaleesh under one banner, and end the tribal warfare. In his honor, he had a grand temple built, to symbolize his divinity and power above those he now ruled. He feared the marching of time he saw around him, and turned to ancient arts of alchemy to extend his life. The rituals he practiced led to the corruption of the land around his temple, tainting everything there. However, in the end it did extend his life, for a time. His supposed immortal rule however was cut short, for his son, coveting his fathers power rose up and killed him. The fragile peace was shattered with the death, and once again the Kaleesh people waged war against each other.

Over the years, the local wildlife, which had grown increasingly hostile, secretly in part due to dark energies from alchemy the old Warrior King had done drove the Kaleesh from the valley. With their departure, the temples fell into ruin and decay, with the local beasts and few Kaleesh outcasts making the valley their domain. Thousands of years later, Corin Zanith, a Sith who had united the warring tribes under him, found the temple using his ships scanners from orbit.

Upon landing, he sensed the strong connection the site held with the dark side of the force, corrupting the local wildlife, and twisting the few Kaleesh into savage killers. He saw the potential this place held, and so he gathered a massive army of Kaleesh warriors, and assaulted the valley. The beasts there took the lives of many Kaleesh warriors, but finally they were able to secure a large area around the temple. Builders were quickly brought in, and the temple and surrounding buildings were swiftly repaired.

Now, Corin has left a vanguard of several hundred Kaleesh warriors to defend the Academy, while he leaves Kalee, to search for potential acolytes.

Intent: To provide a secondary Academy for the training of Sith, away from Korriban and Dromound Kaas. The Academy will also serve to further Corin Zanith's own political goals and future plans.

Looks good to me. As long as you understand that the "strong connection the site held with the dark side of the force" is not a Force Nexus, we're golden! Approved.

Pending secondary and tertiary approvals.
