Intent: To Create an armor for the Sirens of Rattatak to use so that I may finally utilize them properly in threads

Development Thread: N/A

Manufacturer: Rattatak Armorers

Model: Siren MK I

Affiliation: Sirens of Rattatak

Modularity: A Little

Production: Minor

Material: Durasteel, Duraplast

Description:
  • The Siren Armor is not exactly special of even really anything of note. It is a series of duraplast and durasteel place, with duraplast being used to make the armor cheaper to manufacture as well as cover the less sensitive areas of the body. Like any armor made of plates beneath it a bodysuit of Iron-skin is worn, making it somewhat more blaster resistant. Siren Armor is not strong enough to stand up against Lightsabers, or even most heavy weapons.
  • It is designed to give limited protection to the Sirens of Rattatak without inhibiting their movements or getting in the way. The only true unique thing about is is the other features added into the armor to best suite the Siren's needs.
Classification: Basic Armor

Weight: 9kg

Quality: 4

Other Feature(s):
  • Translator: The Most unique and possibly important bit about this armor is a unique set of electronic “Nerves' running through the right gauntlet of the armor. The Sirens are all mute, and thus communicating with the outside world is difficult. To combat this Nemene requested engineers design into the armor a way for the Sirens to “speak”. The Sirens communicate to one another through a complex series of hand gestures. The “nerves' in the gauntlet read these gesture then use a small transmitter in the armor to “speak” for what the Sirens is saying, thus solving communication with the outside world. This system can be turned on and off via a small button below the wrist of the gauntlet.
  • HUD: Like most modern armors the Siren Armor comes fitted with a pair of goggles that provide the user with a Heads Up Display. The HUD has night vision, a read out of current armor systems, and other standard features.
  • Shield:The Last thing Siren Armor is equipped with is is a small Personal Energy Shield. The Energy Shield is of basic design simply projecting a simple deflector system. The powerpack for the shield is located on the small back of the Siren Armor. The Shield is generally considered an early warning system if the Sirens missed and enemy as it can only take 1-2 blaster shots before overloading and need to recharge for at least three minutes.

Sounds like a more advanced form of stormtrooper armor. I like the shield detail, in the sense that it's more of an early-warning system than it is of a true protection system.
