Who are the Silver Younglings?
The Younglings are those short people in the Jedi Temple. No, they're not freeloaders. Well, they're not just freeloaders. For the optimistic, they're the future of the Jedi. And for the not-so-optimistic, they're the future of the Jedi. Attending classes by day, lost in a world of imagination pretend play, and fighting a neverending war against bed times, these kids are discovering themselves, the Force, and the world around them.Silver Youngling Rank Structure
The Latchkey Kids are the oldest and wisest from among the ranks of the Younglings. These kids are so wisened that their age is written using double digits. They don't play as much, and even get respect from their parents - as can be evidenced by the fact that these kids are allowed to stay home by themselves. Some of them even learn how to cook when no one else is in the kitchen! It's got to be pizza rolls all the time, brah. These kids are probably padawans too. Like, actual padawans with masters and all. They can also take care of Big Kids or Little Kids in lieu of a Silver Babysitter, but usually not overnight.

The Big Kids are the rank-and-file of the Younglings. They've put in hard time on the playground and are usually sentenced to some form of hard labor or domestic servitude, which parents call 'chores'. These kids are usually in the elementary grades of the Jedi Academy and may have even begun training with lightsabers, feather push techniques, and other Force basics. They can also be found helping to take care of the Little Kids, under the supervision of parents or Silver Babysitters.Roster

The Little Kids are the initiates to the Younglings. These brave adventurers have endured the carpet burn and diaper rash, and crawled their way from out of toddlerhood to Pre-K and Kindergarten. They're small, still working on balance and coordination, but can't be matched for the tantrums they can bring to bear. Don't believe in the Dark Side of the Force? The Silver Babysitters are proof that adults are crazy. These people might be parents, but might not. Meaning they have no reason to be subjecting themselves to runny noses, bratty students, or random acts of younglings but they do it anyway. These may take the form of teachers, instructors, mentors, or even masters. Most aren't cool at all, even less so than parents, but others are cool. The cool ones are usually known as 'teenagers' and used to be younglings (at least, the ones who haven't forgotten where they came from, unlike adults...)
