Affiliation: Silver Jedi, Army of Light, Apokkan Hegemony
Availability: Unique
Quality: B
Type: Spies/Scouts, Sabatuers, Assassins
Strength: 50
Description:
Noting a distinct lack of special operations units within the military of the Silver Jedi, Arisa Yune set about creating one of her own. From her new home planet of Klatooine, she recruited almost exclusively from the local population of Apokka, the diminutive but cunning avian race having a long history of serving as couriers and spies for the Hutts.
With assistance from the 228th Black Ops Group, and the Silver Shadows, Arisa molded her clutch of recruits into an elite force capable of operating deep behind enemy lines to gather intelligence, sabotage, and assassinate high-value targets.
Their physiology limits what weapons they can wield, but they have been trained in a specialized variant of Teräs Käsi optimized for kicking and beak strikes. They also learned to expertly wield short blades in their beaks and claws. Finally, they were taught to control their thoughts to better escape the notice of Force Sensitives.
As far as equipment goes, they make extensive use of drones and other devices for intelligence gathering and slicing. For sabotage missions, they carry satchels filled with grenades and other explosives for getting the job done. Qualified as forward air controllers, each Raider is capable of calling in air strikes as needed. In assassinations, they make liberal use of poisons in situations that call for discreet killing.
Being so small, operatives often stash away aboard civilian vessels or use their own freighter to insert into enemy space without notice. When this isn't possible, they'll use military stealth transports or individual ablative heat shields for reaching planetside or entering an installation. Once at their destination, it's a simple matter of maneuvering around with their compliment of Odominous Units.
As stated above, this unit is made for clandestine operations under the nose of their enemies. In straight up fights, they don't fare particularly well, so their first move is to usually flee the scene unless cornered into a fight.
