Silver Lining

Location: Aeten II

So much had changed as the twi'lek moved through the ship. SHe had returned home to find... strange beings in charge and trhe world was much changed. Then they had been attacked and now she was with the rest of the crew on the run as they moved through the hyperspace window. She had found some other force users that were kind and calling themselves silver jedi that had invited her to join their crew. They were going to meet their master who was prospecting with them on the outer rim which when she finally got to see the map of the galaxy was ah.... huge and bigger then she had ever thought.

The reveal of an old jedi ship... well ancient sleeper ship with marking from Tython had her confused when they had seen it. Now she was working with them and they were trying to help out these protojedi. "Welcome to Aeten II, this system is usually heavily contested by the mandalorians." She was looking over a few of the things there while they were heading in towards the world with more details of the asteroids. They were moving towards one of the mining facilities and going to work on converters for processing and more. "We'll work to try and get you and your people acclimated." She offered a smile though while she was walking on the bridge of the ship while they were docking with the facility.

Ooroo took some interest while she was moving over some of the things in the datapad. All this new technology and improvements... hell she had even been seeing more coming from the temples about the Bendu. THey had grown and evolved into something greater that expanded away from a collection of planets into an entire galaxy which brought her interest to many of the things. She wanted to learn as much as she could while listening to some of the holorecordings of the different jedi speaking over all of the things they taught. She did not know all of the details for the force but she was excited to be here looking at some od the things on the planet. The mining facility would serve well she imagined for something the jedi could use.

Looking at the twi'lek as she was walking with her throughout the ship int the facility. The ancient ones used an old language and their ship had been marked with it. Really the only thing helping Matsu was that she and the bendu could communicate with meditation and the force giving something for intent as she entered the facility. The mandalorians under strider a man she respect if avoided for his reputation as a horn dog had fought and cleared it out when they were retaking the system and planet for the who knew how many times. She had been working hard to go over some of the things while setting up droids to salvage and mine the equipment. "We will try and help you get things ready."

She didn't know how to speak to her while they looked around. THe twi'leks lekku twitching while she came to sit next to a console and look over some of the things. She couldn't read the language on the screen as she finally spoke and the archaic language came out with clicks of her tongue almost. <This world, it is valuable to your order?> She said it while looking at this jedi who stood before her and while short she radiated power comparable to some of the stronger masters she had seen. Ooroo wasn't one to question the real power and nature of it as she thankfully wasn't a servant of the light but of knowledge.

Matsu was looking at the twi'lek as she listened to the langauge... well tried to. it was very old and ancient by all standards which didn't help with her trying to translate it in her head. Aside from trying to rip the words from her skull as the fastest way she would just have to listen and try to understand it as she moved around looking over some of the facilities camera's. "Yes I think is the answer you want." She said it in basic and then in a couple other ones for Ryloth and Tython until she thought maybe she had something. Looking over the sections on camera that displayed the stygium processing centers and all their built up areas. "The mandalorians have done a great deal here...the taungs descendants." Had to give something familiar or try to.

She still couldn't understand most of what she was saying but the ancient twi'lek was close enough while she stood up and pointed to a few of the screens. <These crystals are what you seek yes, that is why this facility was created?> She felt her lekku twitch before she was turning back to look at the jedi and provide some help and explanation until she moved. <The taungs were ancient even in my time, they ruled their little section of space and no one came in there or tried to overtake them. She had to grin to that though while she was moving now and looking over some more of the screens at the rest of the facility as droids were moving around.

Ah she was getting somewhere now, taungs were something she could talk about and plan with to help build some dialogue. She was seeing the interest the woman was taking in the screens to try to look over the crystals. She moved over eventually some of the things as the droids were making notes for her. Matsu walked and opened some of the facility doors and she could work with Chai La and the mandalorians while she was making some bigger notes. Strider was usually more understanding before she was going into some of the larger things they had like the ships in the hanger that were being loaded up and unloading droids or equipment to get and keep the facility up and running. She was looking at the mining droid foreman while programming it to work with the mining droids they could collect.

She watched her while she was moving with the jedi master down the halls and looking over the things with wonder on her face and some excitement in her voice. <It is so large> The excitement remained there while she was letting the droids wonder off but she didn't follow them instead staying near the jedi master and what armored ones were with her. From what she could gather they ran a group that had several smaller ones within it able to help and build up several things equipment wise as she got to look at some of their knives that could be used for protection and was made from the metal the taungs used while she flipped it over in her hands and was looking at ships being loaded up with crystals and metals.

Matsu was looking at the things there while crystals were being loaded and the droids set up their small operation. Something to fly under the radar while mining and processing the crystals and metals of the asteroids as well as the planet. Thankfully the mining droids could travel on the different asteroids and looking over a few more of the things the probes were being sent out to identify metals and ores they could get. She wondered what they might be able to find if they continued searching but setting up mining and salvage was going to be tough enough. There was no need to try for artifact hunting just yet before she was securing the datapad with information from the droids about veins of aurodium and gemstones.
