Silken Chains

Break looked out over the console of the main deck. He piloted a very large freighter ship named the " Alabaster "

A Class VI freighter may have seemed like a far cry from normal as the rare ship was often an antiquity but rarity was something Break admired. He liked the fact that it was almost as customized as he was at this point but the ship was indeed very slow when not in hyperdrive.
But ship aside Break was more interested in his newest find. He had learned of a way to obtain a large supply of Phrik and also make a name for the DRM in the process. An old enemy of the HRD had been held up within the silken asteroids. A Trandoshan slaver named Ssoh had taken a mining facility and was selling high grade durasteel for cheap. The problem with that was that the mine had previously belonged to Break and the droids inside belonged to light Industries. Along with 20 or so organics there to keep things under control. Break knew of the Trandoshan from previous engagements and knew he kept 5 or so high grade assassin droids on hand at any moment. This could be a swift blow for the company and 5 steps forward for the Rights Movement.

He hailed the crew that had decided to join him

"Meet me on deck in 10 minutes we make landfall in 30."

To Verify, [member="Break"] having an affinity for rare things made a lot of sense. Weren't all human replica droids sort of one of a kind as it were? Regardless, outside of this, he didn't necessarily like the idea of using something that was so antique.

That was perhaps ironic considering the fact that he himself often preferred to fly an A-Wing fighter, which must have been of relatively advanced age anyway.

Like [member="Xandrek Crognus"] had, Verify took a look at the weapons that he had on him - predictably they were something that were melee-related - and he walked up onto deck with the others.

"Unit Verify, reporting in!" In a rather human fashion he offered the others a salute, which indicated that in spite of their unusual situation as well as the equally unusual make up of the crew, he had accepted that there was at least some structure here to be followed.

"If my internal chronometer is set accurately, then it would seem that we would be making planetfall in approximately 20 minutes, 16 seconds. Now 15..."

While the speech patterns of certain protocol droids could be grating, it did seem that he actually had an accurate handle on things, not to mention the fact that he looked ready for what was about to happen considering that he was armed to his teeth with stun batons. Even if he had sounded annoying from time to time, he was certainly going to prove to be pretty useful in the end.
