Silence on Ession (Open to All)

The Harrow sliced through the atmosphere above Ession with the precision of an experienced pilot droid. The ship certainly had one. Having no ability to pilot the vessel himself, Meric had paid for the refurbishment of an experienced pilot droid that could not only get him where he needed to go, but could duke it out with the best pilots in the galaxy if it had to. It was a self-preservation thing. Having no desire to die after spending his whole life fighting to retain his life, it was a necessity that he have the best droid available. As it piloted them down to the planet, he moved to the rear of the ship.

As the ship settled down, Meric pressed a few buttons on the control unit he held in his hand and two DRK-1 Probe Droids popped free of the wall and moved to either side of him. One the ship settled in, and the rear hatch opened, he sent the droids out on their predestined mission. This world was wild and needed cleansing. The Ession Freedom Front needed to be put down once and for all. Their unnecessary violence was an injustice to those who wanted nothing to do with it.

He watched in apathy as the two droids left the small hangar. Having no desire to expend unnecessary energy, he stood on the ramp and waited. The droids would search throughout the industrial centers for evidence of this violent revolutionary group and transmit findings back to him. He would then piece together what he needed to know before he went to seek out one nest after another and cleanse it. Silence would descend upon Ession in due order, and the world would relish in, at the least, a temporary peace. Like many worlds he'd visited before, he knew his work would never be done here, but it was always a start.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.*

Viktor had decided to assist Meric in the purge of the up and coming Ession Reformation, to put down some rabid dogs before they learned how to bite. Viktor was allowed in here strictly based on business, so he had very little hassle in getting in one of the cities. He supposed that he could go browse some wares before he murdered most of the people here. Who knows, maybe he'll even find a like-minded individual in the prudish Ession people. The one problem that Viktor had about this was his personal escort, two guards to make sure that one of the most suspicious people they had met for awhile, let alone that had visited Ession.

Viktor had been testing out different gaseous poisons to poison massive areas, a way that would quickly wipe out an entire village, but the chemical had not been fully prepared yet which slightly disappointed Viktor. He was adjustic his own cybernetics as his personal ship landed down shortly after the Harrow and stood up. He stretched his limbs to make sure that all the mechanics were working properly and he stood up. After some final calibrations on his arms and legs, Viktor exited the ship with two security magna guards for his personal protection.

Viktor could smell the factory as he exited the ship and took a whiff of the air, he enjoyed the stench of this world. It was the stench of progress and civilization, he could feel the rubber and the metal in the wind as he saw the black fog come out of the smoke stacks. He took a deep breath and then took off to head further into the city, getting some stares due to his menacing appearance.

Ession was a relative fortress world. With deck cannons in every city, a defensive space station orbiting above it, and a contingent of the war veterans protecting the now democratic world, most crime had ceased to be. All major issues were swiftly dealt with by the Peacekeeprs, or the Force Dead Dreadguard.

The Jedi Lords often patrolled sectors of the planet while training their Padawans. Laws of morality had been out in place over the city planet.

If anything, Ession was the most secure and orderly planet on the outer rim, albeit with a bit of oppression to keep any kind of terrorist groups from vying for power. The Liberation Front and its Sith allies had all been executed by the Jedi over two months ago, and since the world had known peace.

If one were to cause trouble, the Peacekeepers would soon come running. At the moment, the Archlord was packing his bags, preparing for a sojourn into the deep parts of the outer rim to deal with the Primeval death cult. He would likely not notice if anyone started causing trouble, but his allies certainly would.

What the Jedi did not know was this so called "freedom front" was actually the reigning government of the planet of Ession and that the Jedi council did not take kindly to acts of terrorism on their planet they defended so dearly. This planet was a becon of light and justice, there was nothing shady going on here. However what this person did not take into effect was that he had parked in a hanger near or in the industrial section that was defended quite religiously. A security camera spotted the man landing in the small hanger and this immediately caused suspicion that a unidentified ship could just mozey on over past a fleet and landing procedures and just park itself in a small hanger that was more than likely used to hold the speeders of average people who travel to and from work each day. And that's more than likely what the probe droids would see, just average people happy with their lives working a job to feed their families

However when the man popped out the security droids it was apparent he was here to commit some form of espionage and endanger some of the people here. The local authorities were contacted and soon a patrol car would be there to question the man. It wasn't like they went on def con one or anything but this person clearly did not have the planets best interests in mind.

After three or four minutes a police speeder dropped into the hanger and two officers stepped out walking over casually to the man while a third stayed back and maned a radio.

"Excuse me chief but you are trespassing, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." The officer said in a very polite tone of voice.

Elsewhere the Jedi knight Rexus Drath felt an odd disturbance in the force. He stood up and walked out of his home to hop in his speeder, it was probably nothing but it was still worth following through.

Meric watched the officers approach, his presence in the Force diminished to that of what would be considered normal sentient levels. In other words, to most Force Users he would appear as nothing special. Only those fortunate enough to know him, and remain on his good side, really know what he was capable of. There weren't many of those types still around. Even Viktor, the Sith Acolyte that had come to this world along with him, didn't really know anything about his traveling companion. That was the way the Sith Master wanted it. The less these One Sith knew of him the better, because he had no desire to join them whatsoever, and should they find out of him, it was likely they would seek to recruit him.

"Viktor, go about your tasks. Don't make me regret bringing you here."

The officers were blatantly ignored for the moment. Meric and Viktor had done nothing wrong by coming to this world. They'd followed proper protocols in announcing themselves. Well, the droid had. It was programmed to do all of those things all the time. The Harrow wasn't a secret vessel. Might be an old Sith vessel, but many such ships were appropriated by private individuals over the years. It wasn't uncommon for private citizens to fly around in such vessels. Meric finally turned to address the officers.

"I think you'll find that we have stated we are here on business, searching for an individual that took something of ours. We won't be here long. Most likely."

The officer rolled his eyes in clear frustration over the man, he gave a signal back to the man at radio and sighed. Whoever this person was he had a hard time listening. The officer put his hand on his gun casually as a reminder to the person that he was in fact armed. The officer looked at the man up and down sizing him up and then he spoke

"Sir, I'm afraid that can't happen. You are trespassing on private property and you can either leave now and park in the designated public areas. Or we can escort you off the property. This hanger is to be used for personnel of the industrial sector only. Now please vacate or we will be forced to act." The officer held firm and he wasn't about to let a civilian boss him around and tell him what was what.

Meric imperceptibly reached out through the Force to stop the radio man from making any calls. No point in letting these people interfere in his work. They might not be his target, but they were starting to get very annoying, especially since they seemed to be ignoring the facts of the matter. No matter really. Meric could easily dispose of them if he needed to do so. Not particularly his first choice of actions, but sometimes difficult times called for rather easy resolutions. For now he settled for talking into his comlink.

"FiGi to the ramp."

That was all he said in response to the officers. Yeah, he was being largely uncooperative. Sue him. He continued to stand there, watching them, though every so often he would check the controls for the probe droids to make sure they were still doing their jobs. Nothing to report yet, but he was certain that they were in hiding somewhere. Unless the new ruling party was the guilty party. If that was the case then this was going to take more work than he thought it would. Of course he was prepared for whatever he had to do, and he was certain he would be able to handle the Force Users on the planet. There weren't that many that he could feel. None overly strong.

[You called for me?]

"Why did we land here instead of the main spaceport?"

[I received instructions from Ession flight control to land here because the main spaceport was otherwise full. I simply did as instructed.]

Meric looked pointedly at the officers.

"I think you need to speak with your flight control. If they made a mistake, the fault is not ours. Now leave me be. I've no time to deal with over zealous security forces." He turned his eyes to the droid. "You can return to your post."

[Yes, sir.]

Tyuk stepped out of his ship in the public hangar on Ession. He took a quick look around the hangar, letting all the sights and sounds sink in. He saws many various lifeforms of all different species, none standing out too much.

Tyuk had come to Ession because of rumors of a violent revolutionary group that roamed the cities Industrial Sectors. He had decided to land in the public hanger instead of the Industrial Sector's private hangar as he did not want to arouse too much suspicion to himself. Having stepped out of his ship and been walking towards the hangars exit, he spotted a small sign, written in basic, indication a maintenance corridor to the Industrial Sector for authorized personnel only. He decided to take a risk and go for the corridor, he quickly slipped through a small doorway and used the force to mask his presence, he quickly burst down the hallway, keeping to the shadows and ducking in the occasional corner to pass a security officer.

Tyuk finally reached the end of the corridor, which opened to another hangar. He only assumed that this was the Industrial Sector's hangar, inside the hangar he spotted only one vessel, it had the word "Harrow" painted on the helm, which Tyuk only assumed was the name of the vessel. The more peculiar thing he noticed, was who was down in the hangar. He noticed a few police officers, but they weren't the interesting ones. The interesting ones were the two men the officers were talking to, one looked to be about 6'1" and human, with the exception of what looked like cybernetic parts, making Tyuk assume that he was a cyborg. The other was a human who looked to be about 6'2", at least, Tyuk thought he was human. The man was wearing what looked like a life support suit, and from the angle Tyuk was at, he was only able to see a part of the man's face, which looked to be severely burnt. The man looked quite imposing, he looked as if he was a very strong warrior. The only problem Tyuk had with the man, was that he could only sense the presence of the force that the average civilian had, meaning either his looks were a ruse, or he was strong enough that he needed to mask his presence. Tyuk decided to stay hidden, and watch what happened

The officers sighed in frustration and did their jobs the best they could. Reaching over at his collar the man lifted a commlink and spoke into it.

"Command this is unit five six, potential code twelve at grid mark two eight niner niner. Requesting additional back up." The man finished up on his commlink and looked at the man keeping his hand casually on his gun and taking a few steps back as was standard police protocol. His partner stepped up and lifted a hand to show that they were not messing around and he was being instructed to get off the property.

"No you listen, I don't care what mistakes anyone made up there you are on private property and two officers of the law are asking you to leave. This is your last warning to go otherwise we will take measures to remove you from the property with humane force. You are welcome to relocate to the public parking area a mile from here. But for now I need to ask you to leave this place before we are forced to act." The officer made his point across and waited a response, as a member of the law the two had taken basic classes to resist force persuasion techniques. They weren't immune but they could resist a bit

Elsewhere Rexus kept humming along in his speeder waiting to feel the disturbance again. The power he had detected earlier seemed to had faded away, it was probably nothing though. Maybe a stop at McYoda's would help

"Your threats are insignificant."

With that Meric walked down off the ramp. No, he was not going to go back on the ship. No, he wasn't going to fly it anywhere else. Yes, these guys were supposedly just doing their jobs, but they were absolutely horrible at it. Did they make any calls to see why the ship had been directed to land there? No, they did not. They just kept telling him to move it as if he'd broken some law by landing where their air traffic control told him to land. Well, nobody said these guys were smart. He almost hoped they actually reached for their weapons. The galaxy could use a few less morons.

"FiGi, move the ship. Security protocol lima."

[Yes, sir.]

As the ship began to power up once more, he looked at the officers.

"It would behoove you to direct your attention to the person who, seemingly, made a gaff, than to threaten private citizens trying to go about their business. I don't take kindly to illegitimate threats."
