Description:
Sifa constructed her lightsaber when she was fifteen years old. As a part of her training in the Jedi Order she was taught to make her lightsaber in the traditional way and underwent the processes to do it as any Jedi would. She traveled to Ilum, gathered her supplies, and eventually crafted the lightsaber that best suited her style of combat as well as her own personal inclinations.
First and foremost, Sifa is a Nagai. She is of the same species as the famed Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Nihl. Though not many in the Jedi Order knew this, Sifa was well aware of her heritage. Perhaps in a sign of irony, or idolization, Sifa elected to learn the same style of combat as her distant ancestor Darth Nihl.
Her lightsaber, much like that of Lord Nihl's is a long handled Lightsaber. This lightsaber is unique, in that it's handle is over twice as long as that of a standard lightsaber. This means that more often than not it's style of combat revolved around using the handle itself as well as rotations about the joints of the weapon to properly utilize, much like a quarterstaff, albeit much shorter. This gives the weapon a wide arc of use, but also makes it more difficult to utilize in closer proximity.
To combat this, and to give the weapon a non-lethal alternative, Sifa added something else to her lightsaber.
At the opposite end of the lightsabers emitter, Sifa placed a small shock rod. This shock rod feed off of the Diatium powercell within the lighsaber, giving the lightsaber hilt what is essentially a powerful taser on the other end. Oddly enough Sifa is more inclined to use this part of the weapon than the actual lightsaber itself.
