- When a focusing laser is passed through it, a Siaber crystal can produce an immense amount of energy that can be harnessed for a variety of uses and is virtually limitless as long as the focusing laser continues to pass through it.
- As a focusing laser is passed through the Siaber crystal, it creates an energy output that is five times the amount emitted by standard energy sources. This energy can then be harnessed for use for a variety of purposes, such as reactors, power cells for weapons and droids, etc.
Strengths:

- Because of the amount of energy being produced, equipment has to be specially designed to accept the crystals and the energy they produce. Otherwise, the equipment will be fried and rendered useless from an energy overload

Developed in complete secrecy at Aurora Industries's FrostGem facility on Mygeeto, the Siaber Crystals are designed to be the next evolution of Sianium technology and will form the heart of many new pieces of technology from the company. Taking inspiration from the phrase "the brightest stars have hearts of kyber," Taeli and her engineers began experimenting with kyber crystals to create a stronger and stabler version of their Sianium technology, with the hopes of combining the legends of kyber crystal energy production and the real world applications of Sianium technology.
Experimenting on kyber crystals harvested from Mygeeto and other worlds in secret, the researchers followed along paths long ago blazed by Galen Erso in the use of harnessing kyber crystals. To begin with, the crystals are faceted to align along what Erso called the "night side" of the crystals, rendering them more docile. The crystal is then subjected to an improved version of the Sianium process, warping the organic parts of the kyber crystal into viable Sianium material that is fused with the inorganic parts of the crystal in a perfect blend. Note that the size of the crystal does not affect power output, so larger crystals do not mean even more power, just they are better for use in things like reactors.
The resulting crystals were deemed to produce roughly five times the energy output as the standard on the galactic market, exceeding Sianium's threefold increase. To utilize a crystal as an energy source, a focusing laser is required to be passed through it (once the reaction starts, the energy cell or reactor is designed to siphon a small amount of power back into the reaction to keep the laser going). In theory, this results in almost limitless energy that could be tapped for a variety of purposes for the company. The Siaber crystals are also far more stable than baseline Sianium, so no stray blasters will set off any chain reactions that might cause it to explode. However, if a crystal does break for whatever reason, anything within a given radius will be disintegrated to individual atoms. The crystals can also only be used in equipment and technology designed to accommodate them and their increased energy yield, otherwise they will burn out anything else from an overload of energy.
