Tissue of Masquer possesses extreme tensile strength and elasticity, enabling it to extend tendrils at very high lengths to enable climbing or grappling, or even ensnaring opponents
Masquer is modified to regenerate from damage quickly and to heal the user from all but the most lethal damage over the course of 007 hours.

STRENGTHS
Whatever a Spider can: This Masquer has been genetically modified to grant Maple the ability to climb walls and ceilings, and possesses great tensile strength and elasticity, enabling it to extend extremely thin but long and strong tendrils for scaling walls, swinging acrobatically from fixed points, and ensnaring and trapping opponents, increasing her strength ten fold and granting her immense Regenerative abilities that can heal all but the most lethal wounds over the course of 007 hours, with relatively minor wounds such as cuts and minor punctures healing in 007 minutes or less
Enchanted: Maple has used her expanding knowledge of magic to grant it extreme resistance to radiation and very high resistance Dark Side powers
Tough: Naturally resistant to bullets and certain forms of energy, as well as Acid
Madness Lock: Enchanted to suppress Maple's Schizophrenia, reducing the frequency of episodes and letting Maple use the Force when episodes occur.
WEAKNESSES
Force Voids: Loses its magic based advantages in Force Voids
Cryo: Cryo damages the tissue, rendering it stiff and cracking it, preventing Regeneration for 007 minutes wherever hit
Sonic: Sonic stuns the Masquer, making it tear itself off Maple, making it unusable for 007 minutes as it flees the wearer to recover.
Blasters: Blaster energy shreds and kills it after a few shots
Clingy: The Masquer is sentient as a result, though its persona is a blank at first other than its devotion to protecting the wearer. The more Maple wears it however, the more its personality develops, based on a distorted version of the Wearer. Long term exposure to the Owner's DNA will enable it to eventually move and fight independently, its tissue mimicking the shape of it wearer to do so, using the skills gained from long term contact (Though it will only be able to do this for an extremely short period of 007 minutes before getting exhausted and it is extremely physically weak without a host), but its primary concern is convincing Maple to bond with it on a cellular level, making it impossible to distinguish between the two, either physically or mentally. It can only be worn for 14 hours Maximum as a result, before cell bonding starts to occur
DESCRIPTION
The Shroud of Madness is a product of the private Labs of Nine Lives, a welcoming gift for Maple joining House Li-Ves. A highly experimental Ooglith modified by Nine, and further augmented with Magic, it grants great strength and resilience, but at the cost of it gaining sentience and attempting to take over Maple at the cellular level. Maple dubbed it the Shroud of Madness because, as Maple herself cited to Nine's amusement, "You'd have to be mentally unwell to wear it."
