Sheathing her daggers once again, Eira heard the question from Scherezade and shook her head. "Not to my knowledge. I haven't really hunted bloodsuckers specifically. I tend to just hunt those with a bounty or Jedi affiliated." Tapping her nails over the hilt of her daggers as she mused over the ideas of killing these bloodsuckers. "Well, good to know wouldn't want to have to deal with needing specialised weapons or fancy items." Her red eyes gazing over the plaza.

"Which way shall we head for this nest then?" Eira asked as she gazed up, wondering how many levels there was going to be in this tower and where the nest would be. It was likely going to be at the top but Eira was curious if that would be something too obvious and these bloodsuckers would agree with that and locate the nest on another level to be more hidden.

"How about yourself? Killing bloodsuckers often then?" Eira asked as she continued to wander forward, seemingly unaware but her eyes were sharp and scanning around constantly.

Her newly minted friend hadn't fought blood suckers before. That was a shame, though Scherezade wouldn't say it out loud, she'd sort of hoped that would not be the case. She hated going in with knowing little to nothing, and she'd really have preferred to know a little bit more than she did at present.

Still, their cooperation was proving to be fruitful. Like Scherezade, Eira made up for what she didn't know with a tendency for violence and chaos. That meant Scherezade approved of her. And liked her. But she wasn't going to mention it. People tended to get weirded out when she did so shortly after meeting them.

With an almost child-like hop, she bounced to a nearby door that had a stairs sign on it, and peeked behind it.

"At least…" she counted quickly, "ten floors up, and at least…" she counted again, "twenty down."

They all seemed narrow, from what the two had seen of the building from the outside. And splitting up was really a bad idea. Scherezade closed her eyes and inhaled, trying to get a sense of what blood she could scent. Unfortunately, there was nothing that reached her senses. It didn't mean there was no one there… But they had some type of protection.

"I can't sense anyone," she murmured, "I think that means the next security measures will be droid-based."

She bounced back to where she and Eira had stood a moment ago, chewing her lip in thought. She didn't mind fighting more faceless goons/droids, but she didn't want to waste time. The blood sucker she'd known, he was a quick one, and if these were anything like him, there was a good chance they'd use the diversion to make a run for it. So choosing the correct direction was almost important as life itself.

"Only one that's actually important," she admitted, answering Eira's question after what seemed like a forever later, "He threatened me and my boyfriend. So now I have to kill him. I've tried researching known blood sucking species, but it didn't help me narrow down what exactly he is, or what his abilities are. I just know I want him dead. Before he hurts my Kael."

And… That was that, more or less. She didn't need any grandiose reasons for anything. Just keep her dude safe, especially since destiny had a way of laughing at her and setting her up with someone who was very much not Force Sensitive, which meant that as far as Scherezade was concerned, she doubled as both girlfriend and as fierce protector.

"Are you afraid of heights?" she asked, the corner of her mouth turning into a wicked grin. She had an idea! And those… Were sometimes dangerous.

Eira would have once groaned and felt exhausted just at the idea of running up ten flight of stairs. She was never historically someone that would be considered athletic, it was just easier to get others to do the work for her when she was growing up. Since joining the Sith Order, Eira had been developing her stamina, fitness and gaining muscle in a way that she had never done before. Eira was in probably the best shape she had ever been so seeing the fact that they were having to travel up ten levels of stairs. It didn't seem so intimidating now.

"These bloodsuckers certainly wish to attempt to tire us out before fighting us. Smart... if it was normal people coming to fight them." Eira grinned, her bloodlust was insatiable and was never diminished due to exhaustion. Grabbing a blaster pistol in one hand and a dagger in another, she was priming herself for being able to do close range and mid-to-long range style attacks.

Hearing that Scherezade had a boyfriend, Eira was surprised. Not that the Sith Lord had a partner, that was highly likely given her beauty, just surprising it was someone who was not here also fighting. Eira figured Scherezade would have been with someone just as dangerous as herself. Similar in who Eira usually found to be appealing.

"Surprised he isn't here, killing these fools alongside you then. For threatening your life as well as his own." Eira shrugged her shoulders and then looked down the staircase, seeing how high they already were. "Not the height that has me afraid. More the landing and dying in horrendous agony. That part is less than ideal in my mind."

Scherezade didn't reply to Eira's comment about tiring people out. She went for long runs constantly, though her body certainly didn't look like it. Too muscly and too soft at the same time. But these floors wouldn't tire her, they'd have to do more than that to put a debt in her ability to go on and on and on and on…

"I don't let him," she did answer though, in response to Eira Dyn Eira Dyn 's surprise, "He's not… Like you and me." She hoped that was enough. She didn't want to say he was not sensitive to the Force in a place where unwanted ears could be listening to each and every single word. Sithspit, she hoped what she had said wasn't too much, even if somewhere inside of her she was sure Baird already knew that little morsel of information.

"So he does more intel work, I do more sticking the pointy end of my blade in people we don't like work," she grinned from ear to ear.

Still, Kael always wanted to go on the field. And she hated that she so often felt the need to leave him behind in order to protect him. She had already been in that fight where her performance was sub-par because her worry and attention for him had taken up too much of her focus. Letting someone become your weakness was a terrible dangerous thing to do, and still she couldn't keep herself from it, every day drawing her closer and closer to needing to admit it.

Eira wasn't afraid of heights. She said she was afraid of other things but at that point, Scherezade wasn't listening anymore. Her blades hung in the air while her arms granned Eira by the waist. A moment later, Eira was yeeted, the Force aiding Scherezade in her throw.

"GRAB THE RAILING AT THE TOP!" she screamed after her yeeted friend as she want upwards, "BUT IF YOU DROP I'LL CATCH YOU!"

Eira's surprise and intrigue only grew with Scherezade's answer. Not someone like them made the other woman's partner all the more interesting. What allure did this man have to grab Scherezade's attention? "Seems I need to find out more on the mystery man after the mission." Respecting Scherezade's wishes to not talk further on it. Eira was more than content in protecting privacy while on a mission. She was very similar. In fact, Eira often ghosted people in the past because she feared her attachments to them would inevitably get them killed or turned against her. It was something all too often found within the Sith.

To have someone less capable than her as a partner... That felt a lot of stress and pressure.

Before any more thinking on things could happen, Eira felt hands on her waist and looked to Scherezade, raising an eyebrow curious. This seemed very intimate and not something that would occur after admitting you had a partner... Unless it was an open relationship... Eira was curious to see what this was about. Then she felt herself flying into the air. Flung high up, hearing Scherezade yelling that she needed to grab the rail at the top. Eira instinctively did so, her eyes stared down with a hint of confusion and annoyance.

She would have liked to have the option to turn down this launching, potentially demonstrate her own ability to climb up the stairs quickly. However, it worked though she was puzzled why she was thrown up here. "Seems we need a conversation on consent." Eira called back, climbing over the rail. The comment was a joke for the most part since Eira wasn't too upset over this. Nothing bad had happened from it so it wasn't disastrous of a move.

The Scherezade that the 'verse had known before her disappearance to beyond the galaxy's edge would never have thought to take it into a flirty direction. That girl had been absolutely unflirty more often than not. But things happened in the decade since, and if things had been different, she might have considered checking if Eira was into it. Alas for the strange readers who were hoping, it was not to be for that day. But if Eira wanted to learn more about Scherezade's love life, she was more than welcome to ask. Later. Not here.

She looked at Eira yeeting through the air, somewhat disappointed that there were no screams or threats to kill her for it. And once she saw her grab the rails, Scherezade jumped after her, her muscles aided by the Force to make the leap only a little bit slower, because there was no one to yeet her as well.

"So what's your story?" she asked casually once she stepped on solid ground again, continuing as though the previous few seconds had never taken place, "anyone worth mentioning in a convo like this?"

As she spoke, she began to move, checking every door within sight. Most of them led to tiny rooms that held nothing of interest, no people. The fact she couldn't feel the blood suckers' blood was beginning to annoy her, so she added looking for gas pipes to her list. If they were going to piss her off enough like this, she was literally going to burn them.

"Oi!" she squealed as she found a door that was locked, "wanna do the honors, Eira?"

Eira knew better than to scream threats of violence and murder towards someone who she could already tell was far more skilled than she was. There were some who she threatened in the past with violence because she knew one day there was going to be a time where their skills would be more of an even playing field once again. But Eira didn't know Scherezade that well and she was not going to tempt fate but trying to figure out where their skill difference might lie. Not right now and probably not till Eira felt more assured of her own abilities. It was still very early in her days of being a Sith Apprentice and Eira was keen on continuing to grow in power as much as she could.

When asked if there was anyone important in her life, Eira shook her head, "I am not someone looking to be tied down or linger around a single person. Too much variety in the galaxy, too many differing pleasures out there to discover for me to be satisfied with one person." Eira spoke with a tease to her voice, but there was an understanding in her mind. Holding anyone close at her age and in her current position within the Sith Order was too risky. She had seen the effects of love and attachments on people around her. The sacrifices and the pain a person goes through when those they love are in danger.

Eira would not place herself in that danger. She could not allow others to be in that danger. Right now, she needed to work on gaining more skills and getting a more powerful position within the Sith Order. The security others held, the threatening promise of excruciating pain if anyone dare think of harming them. Then Eira might consider holding onto relationships, growing a web of polygamous relationships. For now, she considered herself single and would tell that to others, just to keep any conniving Sith out of her love life.

Checking the doors and making sure they cleared every room thoroughly, Eira was wondering if things had gone poorly due to the guards they had faced earlier on. Perhaps drawing too much attention. "They might have fled as soon as they heard our arrival..." Eira forewarned, though she suspected any fleeing would have been rushed and evidence would have been left behind where they would have headed off to. Meaning that the hunt was far from dead in her mind. If anything, it just got more intense since they would be clearly in fear of the pair, showing how weak these blood suckers were.

Seeing the locked door, Eira tilted her head side to side. Hacking it open would have been the clean, quiet approach. But it was also a skill that Eira was never brilliant at and she lacked the patience to learn how to do such delicate work. Gathering a pool of the Force into her left hand, Eira estimated how sturdy she thought the door was going to be. This place was pretty rundown, nothing built new or built to endure attacks. Not here at least. So she punched the Force forward and blasted the door open with a hard hitting Force Push. Smirking once the door finished clattering on the ground. "Open sesame." Eira grinned to Scherezade, "after you."
