Starmaker's Gambit

Outer Rim
Small Ecumenopolis World
Gatto-Greed Shopping Complex
Razmir pulled one of the metal hatches on the gravtruck's roof up, barely in time to shield himself as it shattered the glass front of a shopping complex.
The truck broke through and barreled on into the shopping street. Shards exploded out in every direction, injuring several civilians ducking for cover. Behind the truck, a massive hole, roughly the size of a small starship, was left in the glass wall that used to be the main entrance. The truck continued deeper into the shopping complex, but without Razmir.
Several shards had sliced up Razmir's back and legs. The pain, along with the shock of the impact, had dislodged him from the truck and sent him rolling across the floor of the shopping street. He finally slid to a halt after he'd knocked over a few people and hit his back against a pillar.
Moments later, the alarms kicked in. This particular shopping complex had been built by a Rodian company which tended to go a little overboard with security. The entire building, occupying the size of a small city district, came with a particular security measures that allowed it to go into complete lockdown. The protocol had been designed for potential invasions, something this corner of the galaxy rarely saw, and the gravtruck crashing had triggered it. Energy shields materialized where the truck had barrelled through to block the exit, and all other exits were similarly closed off. Within moments the entire complex became a closed-off system, trapping visitors, employees, security, the gravtruck's crew, and Razmir inside.
Razmir groaned. He felt like death, and probably looked the part too. He swore his suit hadn't had any red stripes when he bought it, but now it looked like it had Corellian bloodstripes sewed all over it. He barely managed to sit up, propping himself up on his arm. White-hot pain shot through his entire back, and he hissed.
"F-" his curse was cut off by a crashing sound somewhere in the distance. Most likely the truck, though it had already disappeared deep into the complex.
Raz sighed as he sat propped against a pillar. He began to dig through his suit for a stim. The cheery tune of a nearby Huttaburger became the accompaniment to his misery.
