Question Should I give my character a British accent

I kind of want to give my character a British accent but I'm also not sure. Can you guys help me

You can, but you can't write an accent, but you can write Brit lingo, which to me would be a way to show they have a Brit accent.

In the past I wrote a character that used Irish lingo and wording, even used the Irish brogue reference. But I still haven't found a way to write my rl Irish brogue in rp.

Nah, what Twister said, using lingo is the best way, unless it's specific punctuation in dialogue, but otherwise the kind of choppy tones can make the reading difficult. Using adjectives to describe the tenor of someone's voice, coupled with key phrases/words is probably the cleaner option if you want an accented feel without having to add ' and partial words etc.
