Ballen-Ist tended to make foolish decisions from time to time, ones that he initially thought may benefit him in the long run. As he stood alone in the expansive alleyway, the Sith could feel his anger growing out of hand, due to thoughts of the past and present. He had been waiting for so long, and at this point the Knight was unsure if [member="Kelan The Hutt"] had intended to keep his promise after all. Not that it mattered, he thought sourly, wondering how this Tusken Raider could potentially mess everything up. The metallic clank of marching droids could be heard in the distance, causing Ballen-Ist's eyes to widen as he peaked out from the alleyway. Luckily, this particular street happened to be barren of any night life, and so there was no one to witness Ugoroo and his battle droid squad walking along the duracrete pavement.
The Red Sith would move from the shadows, seeming to glide along the ground as his feet moved beneath his long dark cloak. "I see subtly is not your strong point. Very well," Ballen-Ist remarked, glancing over the robotic soldiers that had been provided. They would have their uses. "Position yourselves around this street. Alleyways, rooftops, it doesn't matter. We need a clear view of the surrounding streets," the Sith ordered to the droids, beckoning for the Tusken Raider to follow him. He remained silent as he walked, heading through many paths and short cuts before they emerged into the warehouse district. The duo approached one of the abandoned buildings, quietly sliding a large metal door to the side before stepping in. The warehouse was full of crates and other items strewn about it's interior, including outdated vehicles and technology of different types.
However, in the middle of it all, stood another disguised individual. Upon noticing the arrival of Ballen-Ist and Ugoroo, the cloaked man would step forward, pulling his hood down to reveal an elderly man beneath. His eyes were sunken, their irises a bright golden hue as they stared forward at the Sith Knight. Thetan bowed humbly to the Pureblood, before speaking, "Master, welcome back. I'm sure you are interested in what I have to say," the old man would say, getting right to the point. Thetan was an experienced warrior, but he had only just begun his training in the dark side. He had studied ancient Sith history, and eagerly accepted tutelage under the Pureblood. "Indeed, I have been somewhat concerned. What is going on?" Ballen-Ist questioned, restraining the tone of irritation in his voice.
Thetan would withdraw a small handheld holoprojector from his cloak, activating it to display a bright hologram that lit up the room. It detailed a strange looking cubic object, which had additional triangular faces where the corners would normally be. Ballen-Ist recognized what it was after a moment, but was shocked speechless either way. "I will be receiving the artifact here, where I am to then deliver it to the buyer. Once I get it, we can both leave this place behind, master!" The old man spoke, obviously more excited than he had been in years. As was Ballen-Ist, but he knew that that plan would not work out. He still had a promise to fulfil, and Thetan was needed for it. "You have done well, Thetan, but we cannot leave Nar Shaddaa just yet. There is still much to gain," the Sith answered, earning a look of disappointment from his old apprentice.
"Your performance has been more than adequate thus far, Thetan. I still need you by Sansa's side, however. I will obtain it, and then teach you what I have learned," Thetan was obviously a bit disgruntled, but he simply bowed and spoke, "Yes, master. I will do as you wish." The two would go into a much more relevant conversation, discussing the details that the buyer had disclosed. Not much had been arranged, other than a time, place, and price. Eventually, the duo would exit the warehouse, leaving Thetan to prepare for what came next. The distinct hum of an engine in the distance alerted Ballen-Ist, causing him to quickly pull the Tusken into a nearby alleyway. They remained hidden, allowing a large transport that seemed to stretch on forever, to pass. It made it's way towards the warehouse district, in order to meet up with Thetan. As long as Thetan was able to handle things on his end, that holocron would be his. The Sith could barely contain his wicked grin beneath his helmet, opting to not at all as he realized no one could see. "Mobilize your droids, have them advance on the warehouse district. I need them nearby, no more no less." The Sith instructed, giving a worried look to Ugoroo.
