Shora Shai supports an impressive and intimidating figure. His broad shoulders and muscular arms have been sculpted from years of battle and intense drilling. His hide is tough, capable of shrugging off minor cuts and scrapes, and his body is supported by two thick and powerful legs. His skin is alabaster white and hairless. His nose and ears are pointed, giving off a slightly fey appearance. He presents the same mouth of sharp teeth when either smiling or baring his fangs. Though capable of great volume, his voice is surprisingly soft and raspy.
But perhaps the most frightening aspect of Shora’s appearance is the ceremonial scars that cut deep along his body. Though gruesome, these scars reflect the harsh warrior culture of the Yuuzhan Vong and each one is a testament to Shora’s great achievements before his exile. He bears them openly and with pride, opting to wear little clothing in most circumstances. However, no new scars have been earned since his failed Escalatier ceremony. In fact, his body hasn’t aged a day since. To his everlasting shame, Shora's body has developed the ability to regenerate any injury over time, preventing him from making even the most meaningful of sacrifices to the Yun'o. Thus, Shora is permanently stuck in the body he was exiled in, with no scars to show for the redemption he has since been fighting for, and no answers as to why the gods have forsaken him so.
