Shock Till You Drop

Nar Shaddaa… Oh how Sasha had missed the lights and sounds, the comings and goings of the busy vertical city that was known as the Smugglers' Moon. For too long had she been stashed away on Arbra at Sanctuary Rock; the hideaway that her and [member="Jaron Lesan"] had made together.

But with Sash's partner going off to join the Knights of Ren and following his own destiny while leaving her behind once again, she couldn't stay there any more especially by herself with the cave walls closing in on her. Well the Denonian hadn't been totally alone. She had the maintenance droids to keep her company, and the shipment of prime-cut Andris she'd lifted before leaving Naboo during the Techno Union's militarized takeover of the Mid Rim planet along with the ship the Dark Jedi now called her own. The previous owner was kind enough to will it to her upon his last breath.

Sasha landed the Relentless Flame on an open landing pad near the Golden Nautolan Casino, which was located in the Corellian Sector of the undercity. As soon as the post-flight check was finished on the Baudo-class Star Yacht, she put the security measures on, then made her way to the casino dressed in her usual attire. It was a rather grand place with a little something for everyone.

The fiery redhead was to meet a new contact there, who apparently was looking for aspiring associates to join his faction. A ticket under her name would be waiting at the Will Call window of the 15,000 seat arena in the complex where a highly anticipated shock boxing match was to take place.

After being shown to her seat ring-side just in time for the main event, Sash waited patiently for the fight to begin and/or [member="Khaleel Malvern"] to join her. She was actually looking forward to watching the shock boxers punish each other. The violence kinda excited her.

Few people really knew who or what Khaleel Malvern represented.

Oh, the usual Underworld scum knew he was Exchange, to be sure. But they still remembered the bartender of Jimmy’s, a man they respected, some feared, but his entire attitude to blunt and straight-forward to ever be the Underlord himself. A high-ranking Enforcer, maybe. Perhaps the Underlord’s right hand even.

But the leader of the Exchange. A man who had his fingers in every pie across the Galaxy, made more in a day than most CEOs made in a year, a man whose whispers reached governments and whose little birdies whispered secrets back… could not be the same man wandering the Galaxy in a trenchcoat with faded whites and red tie. A cigarette between his teeth, cigar aroma always around him. No, the Underlord had to be more sophisticated and subtle than that.

One moment the seat next to [member="Sasha Voss"] was empty, the very next the Trenchcoat Man had filled the void with his presence.

“Miss Voss.” his voice, deepened by a lifetime of cigarette and alcohol abuse, spoke. “I hear you are in the market for some work.”

His eyes were on a little datapad in his hand. He did not seem to be paying attention to the competition starting out soon.

Sasha wasn't sure if she sensed the grizzled-looking crime lord or smelled the cigarette-ladened man in the crumbled trench coat first, but his presence was very much there as [member="Khaleel Malvern"] sat down in the seat next to her; his broad shoulder slightly bumping her more petite yet strong shoulder in the confined space of the arena seating.

"Yes, that would be me… And I am, Mr. Malvern. A fella at Jimmy's said you'd be the man to get into bed with should I be looking for a worthwhile time," Sash replied to the raspy-voiced man, then crystal blue orbs gazed up into the fighting ring as the the shock boxers entered with their entourages. A moment later they fell over to Khaleen as he looked at his datapad in hand.

"I believe we could make it worth both our time should you give me a try," the fiery redhead added with a confident sweetness to her voice, but not so sweet it was sickening. It was meant to draw his attention, not put him off.

“Got an audition for you then.” the Underlord replied neutrally.

His eyes did not leave the datapad, which was filled with all kinds of confusing analytics, data and information - it would have taken hours to sift through it and make sense of it, without a proper background at the least. At this point Khal wasn’t interested in trying to charm the girl. She was looking for some work, he had work, but she would have to proof if she was an asset or liability - if it was the former?

Things would probably change.

“Bunch a corporate times settled in one of our Sectors without asking permission from the bossman, he ain’t all too pleased about that. I am on my way to deliver a message.”

Which basically amounted to marching in, doing as much damage as possible, extracting some valuable information for a related project and then marching out again. There would be a whole army of private security between ‘em and their goal though.

“In or out, Red. Pick your poison.”

Sasha was an avid slicer, though what she could see on the screen of the datapad was mystifying to say the least, though it did catch her curious attention. Something to ponder later, but right now it looked like she'd been offered a job with [member="Khaleel Malvern"] and it was right up her alley.

"I'm quite fond of meaningful messages. Great way to express one's self and get your point across," Sash smiled, then shifted in her seat and leaned closer to the Trenchcoat man, picking up on the aroma of a particular cigar about him. Was that a Sweet Theed? Now those were especially good right after...

"In... I'm always up for a little action, dirty or not."
