Female Shivarrian are also shorter in average height compared to the males, but are not weaker or stronger. There are no variants of these Sithspawn.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: High

Strengths:

    • Cyro Native ~ Their bodies are always cold to the touch, and as such they can tolerate severely cold temperatures up to -25 Celsius without winter clothing, and up to -50 Celsius with winter clothing. Shivarrian are more comfortable with temperatures below zero.
    • Cyro Gift ~ Shivarrian are natural with Cyrokinesis, and those with training can make the power more potent at the same cost as normal. Even performing capabilities that would normally be taxing on the normal force user.
Weaknesses:

    • Light Vulnerability ~ While they are gifted in Cyrokinesis, Shivarrian is still Sithspawn. They become naturally weaker when Light side powers are used against them, and worse case the Light side can also destroy them. That being said, Shivarrian can never learn Light Side powers, locking them to only Neutral and Dark side powers of the Force.
    • Pyro Vulnerability ~ As one would guess due to ice melting in the presence of fire, the same concept goes with Shivarrian. Fire that directly touches them not only burns the Shivarra, but also weakens their Cyrokinesis temporarily in the process. This is because their bodies are focused on lowering their body temperatures to at least below 34 degree Fahrenheit. Shivarra’s bodies cannot function properly once their body temperature is above freezing temperatures, and might suffer from heat exhaustion if they can’t bring their body temperature down to freezing temperatures. Worse case scenario, Shivarra can hit heat stroke even if it is only 60 degree Fahrenheit and it can effectively kill them.
    • Force Nullification ~ When in close vicinity of void stones, ysalamiri, or areas that nullifies/restricts the Force. The Shivarrian would feel weaker both physically and mentally. Ranging from disorientation, fatigue, and if subjected to high temperature will begin to feel heat exhaustion.
CULTURE

    • Diet: Omnivore
    • Communication: Galactic Basic
    • Technology level: Galactic Standard
    • Religion/Beliefs: Shivarrian are inclined to believe in the Sith Code, but they hold a sense of honor akin to Mandalorians. They tend to determine their place via duels, which can unfortunately cause the death of others. However their belief is that only the strong can rule, but they must also be honored by the tribes. Tradition dictates that in order for a Shivarra to become a ruler, they must go out on a Rite to Rule which translates in finding a worthy opponent, kill them, and bring back a trophy as proof. A Watcher, a Shivarra in charge of witnessing the kill, accompanies the challenger. This means the Shivarra travels across the galaxy to find this worthy opponent, and recently gained some popularity amongst both civilization and Force Users as natural hunters of both beast and man.

Once a Shivarra is accepted to rule a tribe, they either establish their settlement on Hoth, or can challenge another clan leader for their territory. Traditionally, this leads to the death of the defeated, but if the challenger wins they claim everything and everyone that inhabited the land. So far, there hasn’t been a single Shivarra to claim Hoth as a whole, but ambitions can take root.
    • General behavior: The first generation of Shivarra weren’t born as Shivarra, they were made by the use of Sith Alchemy nearly three centuries ago. However, as time progressed, the first generation were effectively abandoned on Hoth and rather than wilt away. They established a system, a primitive yet effective system of traditions, and formed the first tribe. As years passed, more Shivarra were either born or reborn into a Shivarra. The very First Shivarra was a gifted sorceress, and took the knowledge of their creation from their creators. Due to their small numbers, they weren’t limited to just breeding, but they also brought newcomers for trade. As some were curious of their way of life, the people took up on the Rebirth process and were transformed into a Shivarra. After a century had passed from their creation, the tribe branched off with a grand plan to take over Hoth piece by piece. Hence the birth of other tribes with established rules of how such tribes can be formed. Not everyone is fit to rule however.
    • The young are traditionally required to learn how to hunt, whether it was tracking, identifying, and even using whatever tools and weapons on hand to claim the kill. Young Shivarra are also recommended to be diverse in trade, whether it was cooking, crafting, or even being artistic. Shivarra believed a balance of when they’re out on a hunt, they must be cold as the howling blizzard of Hoth’s. But when they’re home the Shivarra must have something akin to a hobby in order to relax yet still be productive to their tribe.
    • When the young Shivarra come of age, usually around 16 to 18 standard years old, they must take part in a Rite of Passage. It’s not as daunting as the Rite to Rule, but it does mean that the Shivarra must spend a month out in the wilderness and survive. Once a month has passed, a Watcher will venture out to find the challenger, and assuming the Shivarra is still alive they will be recognized as adults amongst the tribe and can actually travel off world. Shivarra youth are never allowed to venture off-world even if their biological parents went off-world. However, they were allowed to travel with other Shivarra to settlements on Hoth to trade with merchants and even smugglers. Sometimes they make special requests from smugglers if something cannot be obtained on Hoth.
    • Shivarra aren’t hostile to newcomers, but they’re sensitive to weapons being drawn. While in their village, no one is allowed to even hold a weapon except to maintain their weapons at their own residence or in sanctioned duels. Clan leaders are allowed to keep their signature weapon in their hands while in the village, but this is simply to signify who is leader amongst the tribe. Shivarra are known to be blunt with their words and they don’t take deception lightly. They believe in truth and trust is valuable to them as it solidifies their integrity.
    • Training is something of a life-long commitment, but it’s never done while inside their village due to the no-weapons rule. That being said, Shivarra does their training outside in the wilderness and more often than not against live targets. Shivarra are even known to hunt Wampa to test their skills, and typically are considered to be apex predators in Hoth due to their expertise and natural resilience in Hoth’s harsh weather. Although Shivarra values weapons, tools, and armor as it keeps them alive. Shivarra detests lightsabers, or their slang term as Deathsticks, simply because they view lightsabers as honorless weapons of war. They prefer to fight with weaponry that has some weight to them, and more often than not the Shivarra are trained to empower their weapons through the force. Even going as far as creating a variant to encase their weapons in ice while the more versed in Sith Alchemy causes their weapons to achieve a variety of effects.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Shivarra were genetically engineered through the use of Sith Alchemy on Hoth nearly three centuries ago. They were originally test subjects for a project called SHIVA, and it was a powerful dark lord named Darth Erkath who led the project alongside a team of scientists. Darth Erkath captured a bunch of humans and near-humans from various systems, and even captured a couple of Mandalorians in the process. Project SHIVA was to create an elite team of Sithspawn for his own personal use, but it took a lot of trial and error as the first dozen of Shivarrian were barbaric with no sense of self. Heavily influenced by the dark side and fueled with primal rage to where they attacked researchers and even Darth Erkath himself. He couldn’t control them, and he suffered by losing his left arm to a Shivarrian who managed to crystalize it in ice and proceeded to smash it into tiny pieces. Naturally, Darth Erkath killed the Shivarrian before they could escape.

However he lost half of his team in the process, and Darth Erkath took some time to recover as he acquired a cyber arm to replace the one he lost. Months had passed with no progress before Darth Erkath finally recruited a genius genetic scientist known as Professor Stitch, and it was Professor Stitch that recognized what went wrong. After studying the subjects once the ritual of creating a Shivarra was done, Professor Stitch deduced that it was actually a result of the dark side taking over a large portion of the Shivarrian’s mind which causes them to go berserk once awakened. Together Prof. Stitch and Darth Erkath recreated the ritual process and perfected the art in creating a Shivarra. Only this time, Darth Erkath refined the dark side to not take over the mind, but to reinforce their sentience.

It was then that the first generation of Shivarrian was officially created. A solid team of twelve Shivarrian, but Darth Erkath mysteriously disappeared without a trace shortly afterwards. The first Shivarra, Impeia, took the knowledge that Darth Erkath possessed in the dark arts and they made their claim of a small settlement on Hoth. Prof. Stitch was practically held captive by the Shivarrian as they didn’t let him leave. Instead, they used him to release a distress signal to bring in would-be heroes to them. The Shivarrian would ambush them to take their resources, and would change their settlement’s location several kilometers away from the ambush site.

After a few years, Impeia realized that their way of surviving wasn’t as successful as she originally hoped it would. So after consulting with her team, they took extra time to develop a system that mixed the Sith Code with the pride of Mandalorian. Effectively creating the very first tribe of Shivarrian, and once again using Prof. Stitch as their voice. Shivarrian lured travelers and eventually a diplomat to them. Where Shivarrian start to establish themselves amongst the Galactic Civilization to some minor extent by communicating with travelers, exchanging goods, and even striking a deal with a noble from Naboo.

Overtime, Shivarrian began to populate through breeding, but after they began to acquire some popularity there were outsiders who came to them and personally asked to be one of them. This prompted the question of whether they welcome just anyone who asks, or create a trial to prove themselves to the Shivarrian. It was later agreed to create the Rite of Acceptance, and the success of this Rite grants the Rebirth where the individual undergoes the same ritual as they originally took. To which quickly alerted by the Jedi to the practice of Sith Alchemy and later discovered dark arts.

Roughly 250 years ago, a small strike force of Jedi launched an assault against the Shivarrian, but it was barely considered to be an assault as the Jedi didn’t even make it to the settlement as Impeia trapped them in a prison of ice outside of the village. They froze to death, and were respectfully sent back to their homes with letters of warning. However this only seemed to provoke more unwanted aggression towards the Shivarrian as mercenaries attempted to carpet bomb the village, bounty hunters tried to claim Impeia’s head, and even Jedi attempted to assassinate Impeia. None of which were successful as each were either cut down or frozen to death. Impeia’s mastery over Cyrokinesis was considered to be unparalleled as she performed wonders that baffled the Masters. Despite these attacks, Impeia never once sent out a strike force of her own against them, and eventually Hoth held a blockade that lasted for decades. Cutting off any trade from getting into Hoth, and forcing the Shivarrian to survive on their own.

Fortunately by that point the Shivarrian had larger numbers and three small tribes had formed alongside Impeia’s. Together, they survived, and it was only due to their only supporter in Naboo, Viscountess Anaalex of House Loorixo, that convinced the leaders to allow Shivarrian a chance to be civilized. The Viscountess provided the opportunity to allow diplomacy to be had, and Impeia cautiously accepted as she threatened to destroy the entire blockade if the diplomacy was a trap. None believed that Impeia had the power to do so as they believed that Shivarrian’s technology was primitive. Fortunately none pushed her to demonstrate how to achieve that.

Peace was established between the Shivarrian and the other Galactic civilizations. Some disagreed that no one could trust spawns of the Dark Side to keep their word, but to this current date the Shivarrian has kept their word of not taking an aggressive stance nor claiming territories aside from what they have on Hoth.

I’ll See You In Hell! - When the Jedi Enclave first came to Hoth, Shivarrian agreed to keep their distance from the Enclave and the Jedi in general. This was to prevent unnecessary conflict with the Jedi, and the tribes migrated to the other side of the planet to settle once more. However, while they never had anything to do with the assault on the Jedi Enclave, Shivarrian was still caught up in the aftermath as the First Order came to them as well. A similar concept waged between the Shivarrian and a portion of the First Order as two of their tribes were destroyed, but the Shivarrian had also destroyed one and a half battalions of their forces in the process. It wasn’t that Shivarrian had superior technology, it was simply because the Shivarrian used a mixture of tactics with the lay of the land, trapping tanks, and the more Force experts shot down starfighters with large spikes of ice.

Note that Shivarrian had a total of thirteen tribes and each was populated by at least 500 individuals, but they didn’t want to provoke the wrath of these well armed forces any further. So, they packed everything up, using the Force to shroud themselves as a terrible blizzard covered a quarter of Hoth. The Shivarrian reportedly disappeared from Hoth as only the skeletons of their buildings remained dotting half of Hoth’s surface. But in reality the Shivarrian actually went deep underground of Hoth. They still hunt on the surface, but no one has spotted them since the invasion.

ScareQrow ScareQrow Evening and thank you for your patience. Just a couple of things on this one,

Weaknesses | Please add a weakness that address Force null fields such as void stones and ysalamiri.
Communication | By "Basic", do you mean Galactic Basic as their language? If so, please clarify this in your sub.
