Maneuverability:
None on its own, but can be loaded into missiles, rockets and torpedoes, and fired like a normal round. This works up to Starfighter in size.

Damage:
Once activated the device, regardless of size, continuously radiates a cyclical pulse that negates the subnuclear "knots" of space-time made and created by Repulsorlifts. It effects everything that is within range that creates and generates these subnuclear "knots" of space-time made by Repuslorlifts. If Repulsorlifts were to enter the area of effect, it is immediately effected and is negated. If a Repulsorlift were to leave to field, it would continue to work normally, but would have to be restarted. It effectively causes these subnuclear "knots" of space time to return to there previous normal gravity fields as if they were not acted upon by the Repulsorlift. So it directly interferes with the Antigrav fields created by Repulsorlifts.

This device, regardless of the size, directly effects the subnuclear "knots" and the antigravity fields. Everything else is unaffected, of course until the devise is turned off. Once turned off, the device stops effecting the subnuclear "knots" and antigravity fields, immediately. Most repuslor lift technology would need to be restarted after coming into contact with the field due to the negative interaction with the subnuclear "knots".

The continuously radiating cyclical pulse is created by the device as it reinforces the most dominate gravity fields by reinforcing the gravitational nuclear forces at a sub atomic level effectively ironing out any and all anomalies and overrides subnuclear "knots" created particularly by Repulsorlifts within the field. It only interacts and effects these "knots" at a subatomic level and renders them inert by countering there particular antigravity fields and it leaves the what ever creates these "knots" alone.

Relativistic shielding, which is a type of shielding used particularly on hyperspace capable ships to protect from the time dilation effect, is the only type of shielding that is works against the continuously radiating cyclical pulse of the Cassowary with one hundred percent effectiveness, but they have to remain active while in the area of the device. In addition to this, Verpine shields have been noted to lessen the effective range of this device by one grade level (a Planetary would be that of Capital, and so) by the dampening effects of that particular kind of shields, which means that if a ship is in range of the Planetary device and has Verpine shields then it is unaffected by it, until it hits the range of a Capital device.

It also has no effect on propulsion drives other than Repulsarlifts.

Background:
There are two distinctive types of "Cassowary", a grenade style and a mine style. In both styles once the Cassowary has been switched into the off position after it has been activated, the device self destructs. In Anti Vehicular and smaller variants the explosion is nothing stronger than a improvised explosive device of the same or similar size.

In the grenade style it has a magnetic side that is charged and is attracted to the most targets that have a serious amount of metal or metal alloy, (this does include Mandalorian Iron).

The mine style acts like every other military style mine, but once it's tripped it is considered activated.

This device was created to counter Repulsar and Repulsar lift technology, wither on the battlefield or otherwise. It was meant to eliminate all Repulsar threats within a certain area.
