Faction Shimming Echoes

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

The Silver Dawn was a place that few had seen before. The reseaarch outpost they had set up in Moonskin as they were calling it proved to be an interesting location throughout the galaxy. The Rukongi Twins were watching over the teams within the strange city was the only thing they could call it and using shielding gates they were working to develop better footing in the garden and buildings that they controlled. Matsu walked through the garden and looked at the strange walls and statues... they still didn't have much in terms of information. This plane was in the dreams and myths of several dozen, if not more species across the galaxy... They saw it when they slept and when they awoke could only remember it a little. THe statue itself, not giving them much information, same as the rest of the places they had found.

All of them almost perfectly replicated, housing for millions if not more but no signs of life itself. The lack of a sun but presence of light around the area, She had moved the rest to the high plane and they managed to build two feats of engineering. A shipyard and mobile station that would be able to move around and a larger ship able to move around the galaxy and deploy. She could see in the strange waters the skiffs that were returning before the night came. That was when it got dangerous and it didn't seem to have a measured time it just happened. The jedi master had some theories about it and based on what she knew of the beyond shadows and a few other force planes like the kingdom of dreams. She would just haave to think about it more and test it out before she made declarations.

"Quickly, get back into the barrier before night." She said it and they had tried to test it and plan for it but only small excursions and if need be emergency means to get away from the things that came. Mental shielding from the jedi and researcherss but also dampeners that they would be able to present and use to shield themselves.

Quickly, get back into the barrier before night.

As quick as he could blink several times, the slow-moving Ithorian began to bring the skiff in the direction Matsu had suggested. One of a small gaggle of padawans nearby, most of which were excited, a few were still adjusting and one or two like Weru were taking it all in. The gardens here were magnificent, and he'd fallen in love the instant he'd seen them.

The skiff was rocked back and forth by some overzealous youngling. Which got a concerned blink from Weru. "Oh come on its so fun here!" The Bothan boy remarked, looking over the edge to the magical water below, while he rocked them back and forth. Weru kept his satchel tight to his body, full of cuttings and plants that needed attending to. The most precious of his garden exploits he kept close to himself at all times. Eventually, the Ithorian bellowed lightly and protectively over his plant life, as he worried they'd be cast overboard.

The young and fiery Amelia gave Weru a pat on his nose, "want me to thwap him?" She asked, and then realized where she was, "That is. Want me to politely ask him to stop rocking the boat?" She corrected herself for any Jedi Masters watching. Weru blinked a few more times, and nodded, giving a light bellow. #Padawan Problems.

"Master Matsu can't we stay out a bit longer?" A small saurian Gossam asked hopefully, you could see how much some of the younger ones were enjoying life here. If you'd told them where they would end up when they'd joined the silvers, none of them could have guessed.

She smiled and looked at them. "Possibly, there is danger here in the dark that we are still trying to learn about." She said it but ushering them from the docks into the gardens she let them check out the plants that grew here and She activated the barriers that were set up in the archways. The series turning on so that they could move around and there were dozens of buildings they had secured. Other gardens and even some of the atrium as she looked at the Ithorian offering a bow of her head. "Are the other cities the same as this? Built but no signs of life?" The grandmaster was looking at more of it and walked as the twins were standing there with others who were returning. The zeltron Mira Dejah from the council of first knowledge was intrigued with the surrounding area. "It is strange, we have been searching and sending drones out to the furthest ones we can see but they seem to stretch as far as the eyes can see. The good news is we can use the gateway to communicate with the high plane and other jedi. The padawans seem to like it in some of the upper gardens as all of the seeds we have been trying seem to grow. Environmental conditions don't seem to matter so far."

After a stern polite word with a Bothan padawan had ended with a small tiff about boat rocking, she hopped ashore. Dressed in something green and practical, much like her father would always wear, her long brown boots were her only real stand-out. The young teen was excited, she thought she'd have to stay on Kashyyyk but her mother had given her permission for a visit, and Weru was here so that was fun!

Weru bowed his large head to Matsu in return, offering a polite bellow of respect. Amelia felt like she should too and did an awkward half-bow attempt. Some of the others did a much better job! But she tried, all very new to her. When Mira Dejah appeared Amelia was shell-shocked, she was amazing! Immediately she was trying to stand a bit taller, back straight, trying to jedi-it with the best of them. Weru blinked at her, and she rocked back and forth on her boots. Her Ithorian pal always knew when she was putting on a show.

"Other cities?" Amelia asked. Adventure in her blood. "Field trip?" She smirked, always wanting to move on to the next adventure. Like if a younger Taiden had a book in his hands or a mystery to be studying. Weru gave her at least one good blink. In reality, there was so much to see in this city that she'd probably be enthused for days. "But can we stay a bit longer," the Gossam youngling said sadly, really missing the water already. Amelia immediately felt bad, "your right." She smiled at him and he perked up, "there is loads here to see."

While the Bothan boatrocker was looking for stones to skim across the shore. "Do they really go on forever?" A young male falleen remarked. Greenskinned, calm, and intelligent. Apparently the picture-perfect padawan. He was seeming to take notes like a test might be coming. Amelia felt a pang of envy that she didn't have a good question to ask. Was there going to be a test?

"As far as we can tell." She said it and looked at the padawan while bringing a hand up and she was guiding them through the garden towards one of the inner areas. "We are not certain but this could become a refuge. A safe haven for the jedi or when a world is attacked, a place that others can be evacuated to. It isn't accessible by ships so no one could fly here and so far we are the only ones who know how to get here." She said it with a smile on her face while guiding them and Mira was there as well as the twins and some other jedi masters who worked to lead and protect research teams. "That the only danger is when it becomes dark is helpful and if we can seal or bar the gates from the water better it would allow us to secure these cities." She stayed in the garden but looked at the padawans while she held out her hands for the moment. "NOw lets see, what sort of entertainment can be found for you all... hmm. What are your interests in the order padawans?"

Notes were scribbled on datapads, wide-eyed padawans listened on keenly. A few were raising a hand to ask a question. "Can't Jedi beat anything?" The Bothan boy commented on the dark enthusiastically, which brought an Amelia eye roll, and Weru giving a steady rock of his head side to side.

Moving slowly behind them, Weru was always at a steady pace. When he was in the garden he was at home. Inspecting the condition of leaves, branch health, and checking the soil. It meant he could have dropped behind the group. Amelia looped an arm around her friend's arm and walked with him, which Weru was thankful for the company so he didn't lag too far behind. Amelia just kept staring in awe at Mira when she wasn't looking, then pretending to be cool when she was.

What are your interests in the order padawans?

Excited and curious younglings asked what they'd like to do? The most vocal soon answered!

Our little Gossam child's lispy voice croaked, "I'd really really like to learn about the water Master." The Falleen jotted a few notes down in agreement, "Perhaps information on the surrounding area would benefit our studies?" They were after all new to the area, and there was much to discover.

"Er Yeah Lightsabers!" The young Bothan boy waved his hand, and Amelia huffed.

"Would a lesson on tending to our plant life be appropriate?" Weru's slow plodding voice asked, and Amelia backed her friend. "Area and the plants." She summed things up, nodding firmly, then patting Weru's arm to tell him she had his back. Amelia was just excited to be here at all, just wait till she told her mum about it.

Quite the chorus for a teacher to sort through!

She listened to all of them and learning more about the Valemist didn't seem such a bad thing. She offered smiles though about plants and lightsabers. "Hmm all good interests, I think we could all accommodate them... but tell me what do you know of Augurs?" She said it as a leeway while in the back she could see a few more masters looking on. Notably Thulsa Kalamack who was well their most experience din terms of sabers and using the force... possibly wisdom as well. That he was essentially in charge of the jedi augurs helped and showed his care for the order. "We'll divide into three groups maybe, those who want to try sabers, those for the gardens and those who want to see and try to discern the waters here."

She said it and she would lead the ones for the water with Mira standing near her, Thulsa was there with the twins and there was someone in the garden who could help. "The garden has someone in there overseeing it up the stairs." She said it and was dividing them up by the interests while she could sense Vaata Ver Riya working with the plants to experiment and check out everything that they had. The jedi's seed vault was being tested and a biologist who could make the plants grow a little quicker to at least take was essential. "Now lets see what else we might be able to discover and there may or may not be stores of sweet creams in the outposts dining hall."

Amelia thought that Jedi could probably beat anything that came their way, but she was still protective over Weru, so she didn't agree with that Bothan padawan. Maybe some of her fathers over protectiveness was in her.

but tell me what do you know of Augurs

Most of the group had no clue, one or two though, especially the Falleen who was so quick, "they are professors, academic in nature," he answered. Not entirely sure of his ground as it was a specialized area. Amelia again felt a pang of jealousy that she wasn't as quick as he was, she knew that one too! Huffing to herself and crossing her arms.

We'll divide into three groups

Now she was torn because she wanted to see everything, and she really wanted to be next to Mira going to water! Ah… Looking at Weru first she was loyal to her friend and would stick with him. He looked at her, and she grinned brightly, "Gardening please Master," untangling her arm from her friend as they both lined up, along with another couple of green-fingered younglings. She didn't think she'd be in the garden on a vacation, because on Kashyyyk she spent her life in trees! Friends came first.

The Falleen and the Gossam headed toward the water group, and the Bothan and a couple of other eager saber-rattlers headed toward the saber group. Much easier to handle these groups, and a good idea to separate the gaggle of padawans from each other until they'd gotten further in their training!

Maybe they could join the water group later?

Sweet creams! That got a few heads turning.

She looked at the boy as the old master came forward. "NOt all of us, the Augurs are truthseekers. We bring light and truth to parts of the galaxy or the order." He said it and led the small group off who were interested as he produced the lightsber to show them and give them a chance to practice with him. The garden willed with Riya as the jedi master was there and meditating in the center of the various plants around her. She was making them grow slowly but accelerated compared to many of the others they might have found. Her interest in the properties here were something of examining the soil samples they had. "Welcome." Her voice came out looking at the padawans interested in gardening as the analysis of the soil was running. Meanwhile Matsu was moving down to one of the docks and they were watching for nightfall but for now they could with some of the shallow waters at the docks examine it and experiment. "Now lets see what we can learn as this is not water as we know it. This plane of the force the water is." She crouched down and touched it as it was clear but the depths she knew held the straange things the further out you went. "Different, the running theory is it is a conduit for thoughts and dreams... how various species across the galaxy know of this plane but can't recall it."

At the water.

Augurs were explained to the fascination of the more studious younglings. "Augurs look for the truth of the Jedi?" One Twi'lek padawan would ask Matsu on their trip, clearly interested in knowing more about them. Truth-tellers had a way about them that seemed almost otherworldly, like so many new experiences padawans or young minds had.

The little Gossam was touching the water with Matsu, making ripples with his hand, and forming small shapes with the swirls he made. Every so often he thought he saw something and smiled. He was completely mesmerized by it all.

"Do you believe the water is related to the subconscious?" The Falleen asked astutely, posing a working theory of his own that he was putting together. A good thing Taiden wasn't here today, else these two scholars could probably discuss and ask questions for days!

….

In the Garden

Welcome

Slowly lumbering toward Riya and joining the lesson. Weru took to gardening like any Ithorian would. Gardening was an extension of him and how he saw the world around him. Seeing everyone as a gardener, tending to their own lives.

Gently, he was soon examining the soil with great painstaking care not to disturb any stray seedlings. Whenever Amelia tried to hurry the process along, he would slow her down, explaining to her how important it was to respect the earth. They were a good influence on each other. "While our soil is well balanced Master Riya, it has slightly more phosphorus than our plants are used to." Offering more energy regulation than usual, at the cost of possible zinc and iron deficiency. Given where they were, perhaps that was a side effect. It could lead to algal bloom if it ran off into the water as well.

"Master Riya may I assist in creating harmony?" Weru offered a nitrogen-fixing plant to help correct the very small imbalance, which would eliminate the need for as much fertilizer. Looking to set up a bean plant or two where they were needed. Perhaps the teacher had a technique to finely balance the soil through the force, a device, or perhaps he was overthinking it?

All this was completely lost on Amelia who just helped him carry the plants and testing equipment around for now. Carrying as good as any Houk! She thought to herself with a sentimental smile, missing the big lizards already.

The old man looked at the padawan and offered a grin. "SOmething like that it is not as glorious but there are times when jedi go to far, when they overstep into dark territories and we seek to bring them back rather then condemn them if we can." Matsu listened and the truth finders of the jedi were possibly romantized by the padawans but they hunted jedi criminals which did happen or ones using the darkside.. it was an internal inquisition as other force orders might call it but they offered a better chance of redemption.

The jedi master though did look at the padawan when he spoke and. "Possibly, right now my theory and one of several is that the waters arer a conduit and when enough dream and are able to connect the nightfall comes and the things we have to get away from, that come out of the depths might be them. Like they are controlling a puppet when they dream." She said it and if there was a collective subconscious to the water and this plane it could expand things and possibly be dangerous but a working theory beyond it was hard to confirm.

THe Life-Bearer looked at the padawan and nodded her head as she remained there. More ethereal in her movements when she was checking the surrounding soil. "You may padawan, we have worked on learning what we can but the soil changes properties we have seen. It allows for dozens of different plants to be grown." She said it and moved over guiding his sight. "These are glasses from Hoth and Rhen var, usually able to grow in cold temperatures under the ice for creatures to get to and you can feel the soil it has become harder more packed to allow it to grow... and here we have plants from Kashyyyk that are able to grow."

At the garden.

Their soil changes properties? Weru was fascinated, and guided by Riya started retaking his soil samples along the different outcroppings of plants along their way. Still at a snail's pace, the Ithorian did everything twice as slow and twice as deliberately. He lightly patted his hand on the harder soil, blinking at Riya, and then did so again. The temperature in the soil regulated itself by its density.

Covered in soil, messy just like her father, with at least three soil splotches and one somehow on her cheek. Amelia had decided that watching the flowers was the best part of today, she was watching a small insect walk around the petals. Riya was was amazing too! Every so often she'd glance when she thought Riya wasn't looking and mimic something she was doing. Maybe how she sat or spoke, or handled the plants. Then if she turned her way, she'd pretend she wasn't doing anything.

Pulling out a small holorecording camera, could she video this garden and get the scoop? "Ri… Master Riya? Can I record some of our garden?" Probably wouldn't be breaking news but she'd have a story put together little by little on their new home. Her portfolio was important to her. If she was allowed she'd be off on a mini adventure around the room, camera in hand.

At the waters.

Watery philosophy and the practical truth about truth-tellers. Padawans could form their own stories in their heads about how things were, it was good to be brought down to earth. "I want to be one." The Twi'lek had decided already, so many of her people were criminals, it fit. One of those pieces of a young life puzzle coming together.

The small Gossam was too busy forming shapes in the water to do anything else, almost like he was drawing pictures that last a second before they went away. He was completely entranced as an artist would be.

As for the Falleen, he nodded and then nodded again. Pulling out a small recording device, to take a sample of the water if he was allowed. "Have we seen what happens if the water is separated?" He asked either way. Would the connection still be there, "is the source of these conjurations distant, or within the water itself?"

"Of course." Riya said it looking at them while she went around and observed but also checked samples. "It is a facinating place, we have seen similar somewhat on worlds that have been altered or are living in other ways. Zenoma is an example as it can cultivate much since the world itself is alive and able to move around the galaxy." She said it but was looking at the Ithorian and offering plenty of space for the other padawan to record while all of them were working here. "The testing should be done soon enough we might be able to get some answers.. or a hundred more questions." She offered a small smile though at the prospect.

Matsu looked aat the water and the sample as she nodded. "It acts much the same when you take some we are testing it in the outpost but from what we can tell they come from the depths of the water but we are not certain how deep it really goes. We have sent probes but thhey largely haven't stopped giving us telemetry for depth." She said it and the probes had a range for space able to scout several systems away and transmit to the holonet receivers quickly enough... so it would have a long range but there was just no way to be sure. "From the few recording they seem to appear in the water when the night comes... and since there is no sun we can't calculate it and it isn't standard intervals."

In the Garden.

Off Amelia went taking pictures of everyone and everything! The wannabe reporter finding her young interest only growing, some people were lucky enough to find their life path early on. It would be interesting to see what role she'd fit into as a Jedi with these traits, but every talent could find a place among their order, it had always been so since its inception.

Zenoma. Wandering planets meant changing or adapting seasons. "Our garden habitat moves in a different way?" Weru pondered, it could be it was not fixed as their perspectives thought. He didn't understand this in some philosophical way, only through the plants they were tending. A garden told you everything about a place and had many secrets to share.

Levitating a small device gradually over to the soil, his first time using the force this way. The device showed a small blue flash as it began to record a new sample for the denser soil. The Ithorian wondered how quickly the soil density changed to fit the plant. If the change was a gradual process to retain and release warmth, or if it happened instantly. Preparing the ground and setting up a climbing bean plant he'd talked about earlier. The Ithorian placed it along a small wooden trellis and left the device there to record what happened.

Beginning a slow steady search for a compost container or some way to enrich the soil, realising what their elder jedi had said earlier, perhaps there wasn't one? That didn't stop his search, very laborious and thorough. "May I care for these sapplings?" The padawan asked. If left to his own devices Weru would be here all day, and having a small plot of his own garden would be a dream come true. Unknown to him there were force techniques to assist plants.

At the water.

Our Gossum youngling looked like he was about to wade further in. But thought better of it when he remembered Matsu's warning, content instead to place leaves upon the water like boats, floating them with small pushes of force energy in particular circles. It actually looked interesting by the time he was done, working with water was definitely his forte, that or art.

The Falleen swilled around the liquid sample, checking it visually and with an instrument on his belt, then poured it back. "Distance and depth have no or extended limits, does gravity, time or acceleration?" This could quickly become a very technical discussion! He soon got his datapad out and started tapping numbers into it. Think of what could be designed here when their reality was bent in such a way!

"Gravity yes.. maybe it does stay and we aren't floating around. It is quite comfortable actually. As for time we have notices it will pass, plants will grow and if we return to the high plane from here there is maybe a brief handful of seconds." She said it and moved closer to the Gossum youngling and crouched down making so she could catch him if he nearly went into the strange waters again. "We enjoy the chance though and in a week, a month or a year even longer we may learn so much more but it will be a patient thing." SHe was not worried about the time, the force had a million mysteries and likely they had only ever discovered a smaller handful.

Riya looked at the padawan and nodded as the camera. The chance to see the soil change could be invaluable and she looked at the other going around and using the camera... with talent. Her thought was briefly on hiring the girl for her various weddings when she haad them. Her duty to her people as a life bearer important aand well husbands and wives were different each time but she cherished them in the time that they had. Riya went back to her seat and crossed her legs as she was focusing the force on the plants and stretching it to the soil and feeling it in the force as she focused on the smallest parts through the art of the small. "It does move in a different way but that is not always good or bad... it sometimes just is. Much like the jedi who receive the same training move in different ways."

At the Garden

Zooming in for fine detail, she was trying to profile-shot the plants for her articles later. Most were coming out very promising. Something to do with the light and nature of this place made every shot a storybook, all with different details jumping out of her images.

Snap. Snap. Snap. Their holoprojections would look beautiful, maybe she could put them around the order's gardens with information and articles on the plants? Was that too much? Snap Snap Snap. Three more shots.

Riya sat back, and Amelia was drawn to what she was doing, swinging her arms happily as she walked. At first, she was going to ask what their Master was doing, but Weru was already coming over, slowly as ever to find out about that in a minute. There was a much more pressing thing on the young ladies mind first before any possible teaching moment began!

Whistling to herself, she'd do this right, asking for permission first."Can I take your holophoto?" Her voice was confident until she realized what she was asking. Uncertain if anyone in the history of Jedi had ever asked a Jedi Master for their photo before! Was this really dumb or okay? She could do a beautiful shot of Riya in this backdrop. Rocking back and forth on her boots, camera in hand, her tongue tapped her front teeth in uncertainty. #Padawan Questions.

At the Water

Protected from swimming out into his art, as Natoline once might have done! Our Gossam youngling had taken to making ripples around leaf boats, using whatever image or reflection stirred in their strange water's edge, further enhancing the display of the roating leaves. The mini boats now carried selected light pebbles from the shoreline. It was all getting very elaborate now he could really play and learn at the same time. He smiled upward, really enjoying himself... but one of his boats began to sink. It was a lot to keep track or control of for a padawan, maybe he was doing too much at once?

"Have we tested the effects of an antigravity generator on the surrounding environment, such as a repulsor lift?"The Falleen was formulating a more detailed theory of how this place operated by the minute. "I would expect my expertise in Classic Mechanics, Relativity and Thermodynamics to be useful in better understanding our environment Master Ike." There was an expectation, a hint of superiority that he'd be selected for the assignments in better understanding the physics, the underlining principles of this plane. He was only young still and perhaps needed a guiding hand that science, though useful, wasn't everything or just in manners. Falleens could be that way.

"Of course padawan." She looked at the girl and offered a bow of her head. Remaining still for the moment and allowing herself to be seen as she still focused on the force and looked towards the Ithorian as she offered her hand. "You have learned something, padawan Werucoss?" SHe said it while she was prepared for anything but there was a chance he had insight. She knew the Ithorians were almost like plants themselves in how they could commune so she respected the skills that was presented. She also wondered how he would grow up... maybe get a little faster in the movement but well she could handle the slower moving and patience.

Meanwhile by the waters edge she looked at the padawan. "Repulsors have been tested the other drones going from city to city cone. We need to make a better name for for them but...." She trailed off looking and the light was fading... the water further out glowing and like small tendrils from the depths she motioned pulling the padawans back towards the barrier that would seal. The paladins set up as she was ushering the padawans back into the archway and the shielded barrier came up "Stay here." She motioned with her hands as the first signs of the things came up, emaciated bodies limping around slowly and she was holding a hand out enclosing the area with the twins and the older master to shield thought.

In the Garden

Pictures were taken that put Riya in a perfect garden glow. Showing a genuine Jedi snapshot for future padawans and Jedi archivists that might follow. Showing what life was like when you weren't dueling sith, or fighting battles they talked about in holovids. Amelia was pretty good for a teenager, and she had an eye for people most of all, which explained her curiously mimicking others when they weren't looking.

Weru was still lumbering over gradually arriving. He'd done a lot of pacing back and forth today. Perhaps needing some more regular exercise or cheating force ability to renew himself. The garden called to him, there was so much life to look after, he'd been going around in slow circles.

Sitting at Master Riya's feet, and waiting patiently for her to ask. "I believe the water moisture adapts the soil's density Master Riya, allowing heat or moisture to be better maintained on plants that need more of either." The Ithorian slowly rumbled, the adaptive water here had many properties. He still hadn't worked out how the soil's mineral content changed. The water's action seemed to fit with what he understood about the adaptive bodies of water surrounding them. "Plants might be able to communicate with the water, or water with the plants." This was completely hypothetical, and his slow rumbling voice was quieter showing he was unsure of himself. He was looking at this as if it were a herdship. It could be the water when it was given a purpose by the plant assumed that purpose.

Weru didn't have her art of the small and he could certainly be wrong, but he'd have 5,000 more laborious and pleasant hours finding out if his studies permitted it.

At the Water

Our Gossum boy looked longingly at the leafy water boats as they moved back, cupping one in his hand to take with him while the rest drifted out or sank, he sighed. Soon shaken out of his thoughts by what he saw within the water. There were ooohs and aaaahs from several padawans, one wanted to run off. Not the Falleen though, "fascinating," he expressed with an eyebrow raise.

If rescue drones work working "Drones could provide a mobile barrier in case one of our padawans were to find themselves out there Master Ike." A certain silver-haired Echani approaching behind Mastsu, bowed to her deeply. Taiden had been quietly watching as he often did, and was thinking logically about their long-term presence here. If the water was to be a hazard for any length of time. A mobile drone rescue service for any over adventurous youngling might be just the thing to save a life one day.

The grandmaster gave a nod of her head as she was looking at the barrier and it had its own power source to maintain it. "A drone rescue contingent would be good, the night cycle is something we need to work on but it will be here." SHe said it and looked at all the padawans doing the headcount as they were here. Taiden was a moment before she was moving back to the center of the garden as several of the other jedi were reporting the other barriers were up and secured. "The night has come and now it is about security. We know how they move and have been able to observe them from here... just stay within the barriers until the light cycle comes again and report any dangers to the security teams."

She received bows and continued back towards the garden as Riya had led when the night came the other padawans down making sure her area was secured. THe ones learning sabers wre back and several other smaller teams. "The gardens are secured and we have set up additional scouting drones to observe the paths that they use in the streets and gaps." Matsu bowed but looked among the other padawans. "While this is going on the padawans will return to the high plane with me and we'll be joined there. I leave the outpost to you." She received bows while guiding with her hands and the chainway gate gleamed. Twin arches with force energy between them as it shimmered.

"Alright, lets get you all through and back to the high plane, we can come here agaain later but your field trip is cut short... you get to go baack to your studies."

Taiden bowed deeply once more "Of course Master Ike, I will keep a vigilant watch," moving off to guard the perimeter securely from harm. The white-clad Echani would continue his rounds for a while yet to safeguard the padawan's departure.

Back to study! There were mixed reactions but among the loudest was an awwwwwww from the Gossum, holding the leaf boat he'd rescued in his hands. The Falleen and the Twi'lek were keen to get back to their lessons and were soon at the front of the group. The Bothan boy was too busy practicing all the dueling moves he'd learned and almost missed the call.

Amelia was snapping as many holophoto's as she could, turning around to see Matsu behind her she looked at the holocamera and gave a sly smile. Suddenly feeling like she should hide it away! Uncertain still about whether she had their full permission, and biting her nails unconsciously, or rather gripping them lightly with her canine teeth. Weru offered a gracious and long goodbye to Riya, his translator collar working overtime, he'd be following at his usual slow pace.

Amelia had a question to ask on her mind. Parting her hair and getting herself ready, use your words Ame. "I wish I could stay here." She said to Matsu as they walked, but her father would never allow it, or so she thought. He should get his old grizzly butt up here! No that wasn't a way to Jedi-it. Her father was happy on Kashyyyk but she was her own person too, she was almost 14! 14 was totally old enough to do anything. "I'd like to visit again." A more mature way of handling her request, and she was totally mature, she was almost a whole 14!!!!

But she had a couple of days for now with them, I guess, chewing on her holopen with her teeth, the end was really gnawed up now. A couple of great days of adventure, fun lessons, and Weru. There was a flicker of envy.
