Persephone Dashiell
It's Called Fashion Sweetie
SHIMMERING FALLS, JAGOMIR
The last remaining patriarch of House Myler has died leaving no direct heirs. The only family remaining is a half-blind octogenarian niece who lives in a mansion and has a penchant for spoiling several fat loth-cats. As the executor of his estate, the niece was left a map to a vault filled with rare artifacts. Judging by the map, the vault is located in a cavern system behind Shimmering Falls. Rumors swirl the vault is where ancient Sith were long buried a millennia ago. Not able to go herself, the family of House Myler hired out the task.
Humidity made her hair stick to her neck as she walked. Across the river was a city built into the waterfall itself. It appeared to be crumbling and in poor shape but from all her research it was populated. Perhaps there had been flooding and a lack of credits to fix some of the beautiful bridges. Oceanic gaze took in the route. Easily still a kilometer to go to reach the city which meant a loop around.
Having studied the map before landing, the entrance to the cavern system was somewhere in the city. Persephone hoped it wasn't guarded by locals or walled off. It was going to mean more work for them.
Her bodyguard droid, Zee, shifted slightly, his photoreceptors focused on the bridge structures and their integrity.
"Alright, let's keep moving."
Thanks for reading! I think there's a lot of opportunity in this plot. A word of warning most writers either love this character or hate her. If you're unfamiliar I would read through some of my posts to get a feel or ask me - Persie won't be making you feel warm and fuzzy on this trip.
