As the rise of galactic tensions continue, the need for better and more durable atmosphere capable ships are needed. Already supported by the remnants of the old empire, the Protectorate designed this drop ship to assist in quick and clean civilian evacuation and troop placement. The hulls are thick, and the ship is equipped with three standard shields for just in case situations. The shields work as so; When the primary shield goes down, the second can be activated with full power, and when that one goes down the third can be activated with half power. While the ship is quite fast, the ability to maneuver it is awkward, and not the best, but certainly not the worse. The Shimin supporter is designed to quickly touch down, pick up, and quickly get off ground and get to large Lifeships or any other ship capable of taking the civilians. It's designed to make multiple trips, but with only a single laser cannon, it sometimes may require some form of dedicate escort. The cockpit of this ship has been reinforced, and only requires a single pilot to fly it. All together, the crew manages to be a small number of 4 minimum requirement, and capable of holding up to 30 civilians or troopers. With battle droids capable of folding up or being stored in tighter spaces, the number is increased to 50. This ship is incapable of going to hyperspeed, relying on larger ships to do it for them while inside hangars and such.
