VISAGE. The feature most people notice first when they encounter this man is his noble, high-class aura—though nothing about his story is as it appears. He was once a poor, illegitimate child from the very lowest class. Despite retaining some youthfulness, his age is evident in the large streak of grey in his long black hair. His eyes, a mix of brown and black from his heritage with pointy Nagai ears, give him a look that some liken to a demon’s possession; others find his stare terrifying, as if he sees through your very soul. His body, in remarkable shape and detail, draws admiration from both men and women. Years of fighting, surviving wars, and enduring numerous assassination attempts as he climbed the government’s social ladder have only increased his new noble bearing and made him even more attractive with his old, elder age.

From the shadows of being born out of wedlock to the pinnacle of government and military power, he rose—a man whose every action baffles even the keenest observers. His motives are shrouded in a maze of contradictions, each decision cloaked in secrecy and misdirection. Is his unpredictable nature a symptom of madness or a calculated strategy? He wields his enigmatic persona like a weapon, manipulating allies and adversaries alike. No one can decipher his true intentions, and that is exactly how he maintains his iron grip on power.
“He may say things that may be a lie or the truth.”
Some version of it can be a hypocritical stance in questioning his personality, but who can know if he is honest or not?

Shimano Yuki — Youngest SISTER {ALIVED}
To say that the relationship between Yosei and his sister is complicated is an understatement. With many years between them, it’s not strange that the pair were occasionally alienated from one another. In their youth, Yosei took on an almost fatherly role to Yuki in the absence of their actual parents, whose father was the head of the clan, but he was more concerned with maintaining the clan's reputation and influence. The mother, “Hotaru”, is a lower-class "heoibikani" maid, but in the deep scheme of plots and intrigues, Father still loves Hotaru. However, as Yuki grew older and became more independent, Yosei started to grow distant from his increasingly superb and talented sister as she moved toward the government and military. To deal with this, Yosei is often keen on criticizing his youngest sister and belittling her. Still, deep in his so-called “personality,” he is protective of her, but this remains unknown due to Yosei's lack of reaction to threats against his sister. In his words, "If so, go on ahead," as he continues his own work.
Shimano Yoko— Daughter {Alived}
The illegitimate daughter of Shimano Yosei, who was initially regarded as an unimportant member of the Shimano Clan, was not known until she was brought into the light 16 years later, causing some issues with blood relations in the court and among many members of the family clan. That one of Yosei's rival Daimyo's names, Tobeishoku, "generosity," was in fact motivated by politics; the Warlord “Daimyo” would use Yoko's presence at social functions to embarrass the Shogunate and the "legitimate" ruling branch of House Shimano, who were considered weak and unworthy of the throne by Tobeishoku.
Nonetheless, the Shogunate Shimano Yosei insisted that, as a blood relation, Yoko was to be tolerated at court, but, as her father's blood. She managed to win against her rivals in the court easily, but the court was pushing her towards the academy, which readily accepted her. She fought her way into the academy in the same way she had in the court. Yosei does seem to be tolerated in her way in the court and the academy when all rivals try to defeat her because of Yosei Shimano's power and influence in the court, but it didn’t happen after Yoko just cleared her path either brutally or by scheming the rivals to join her faction.
Daughter of Shimano, who was a very cunning, ambitious, and very skillful Kenjutsu artist, below her Father. Her skills had succeeded in Yosei's eyes, which was a great tool in the Shimano Clan's grand scheme of many things. In which he gave her a personal Walker.
