Shifting Gears

Corellia will be shifting gears in the next few months in an attempt to gather more members and support from the site. Where as before we were known and generally operated as a Confederation which allowed us to play Corellia as the major power in the group of little fiefdoms we gobbled up in our short Dominion burn. However that also made it look like being Corellian is the only way to play and people have a dozen different ideas of what a Corellian should be like or a Corellia based faction should be like. Thus in the coming days and weeks I hope to move us towards a Federation model.

"What's the difference?" you may ask. Well google says this:

"In a confederation there is no new central government and constituents maintain their autonomy, independence and sovereignty. Conversely, members of a federation are subject to laws and regulations created by the federal government, although they maintain a certain degree of autonomy."

So less autonomy, less individual systems and sectors coming in with their own flavors and more coming together as a cohesive group. The capital will remain Corellia and Corellia will still be somewhere in the name as the birth place of this new government and its seat of central power, but expect some changes in the coming days. I will be putting a name poll in the discord and I am still looking for Admins!

One of the first changes will be how we approach Force Users. We will be keeping the Green Jedi its own thing, but we will be adding the Judicial Forces to the faction. Who are the Judicial forces you ask?

The Judicial Forces are a group of Force Users, usually non-denominational, that operate within our space. They will be a paramilitary group with some oversight from the government. They fight where they want, who they want, and when they want but ultimately their goal is to keep our space safe. They work alongside law enforcement and the military but have their own chain of command. Leaders in this group wear their Red Bloodsteel armor proudly. Due to the nature of their main mission being peacekeeping within our borders they often travel with dignitaries.

The Judicial Forces are encouraged to follow the Force and what it tells them.

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."​
