Description: Designed by EchaniTech as a next-gen model vessel on a prior-gen frame, the Shift-class was designed to fulfill a variety of roles as needed by whomever purchased the vessel. As such, the ship has a variety of modular configurations for everything from long-range recon to heavy gunship. These vessels are diverse and interchangeable.

With the ship being built all on one hull, it is easy for them to be built and then changed around. This allows for an ease of production and makes their interchangeable parts much easier to facilitate. This is done through the use of modules themselves. Each piece of the ship is built as a module and then placed in the frame. A ship with advanced sensors instead of a heavy weapons battery will have a module that’s in the same frame as the weapons battery, and fits into the same location. This modularity allows for ease of use, as the rest of the ships essentials are all designed in the same way, meaning the ships layout doesn’t change as its role does.

In some instances, a layout is designed based on its weapons systems. In others, it’s based on necessary upgrades to non-combative attachments. Each one fits a role, a niche. Each one has its merits and flaws.

The Gunner version of the ship was designed for heavy engagements with other vessels of similar size, in order to serve in support of other craft. A heavier armament and shjelding, coupled with reduced speed, allows the vessel to engage other craft efficiently in support of larger vessels. In addition, this ship is capable of being its own small defense craft for smaller planets with less grand budgets.

Because I'm a plant.
I saw another judge recently (like a week ago) say something about us not doing Light Turbolasers. And I was coming in and considering asking you to edit based on that and trying to find rules to support that. Then I realized that even if you have standard turbolasers and ion cannons this ship is still within reason for a corvette class ship. Only its 220 Meters frigate size (201-400), but given its armaments I won't quibble on that point.

So the only thing I ask now is that you add a bit to the description. I understand these are all variants of a single vessel but a few sentences in each differentiating them would be nice. Doesn't have to be too terribly much.
