Sherlock Holmes : Crime and Punishment

I feel this game deserves more love than it currently has. The few of you who are familiar with the Sherlock Holmes games probably remember Creepy Watson, the phenomenon where your assistant magically teleported along the game whenever you weren't looking at him. Thankfully, they fixed that issue in this iteration of the game.

The game plays out much like L.A Noire, but with less of a focus on telling if a person is lying or not through their facial expression. Instead, it relies heavily on clues and clue hunting, making you afterwards link together the clues to form a hypothesis, then linking together different hypothesis to form different conclusions. The clues and hypothesis can be interpreted in different ways, which can form different conclusions and / or invalidate / corrupt any new found evidence. There is always some piece of information missing that will make you second guess whether you are 100% correct in your assumptions.

For anybody interested, it can be found on Steam and I highly suggest, if nothing else, a pirate to check it out. The story is surprisingly good and as is to be expected of crime novels and the like, incredibly fun when you have someone playing with you, debating the evidence and motives.
