Appearance: Shen Nalyd is a white human teenager with shaggy black hair, blue eyes, and wears traditional white Jedi robes, with a dark cloak. He is 5' 11", and weighs 135 lbs. His light saber is Blue.
Biography: Shen Nalyd was born a very normal child, into a very normal family. His father was a bartender at a small tavern in the back alleys of Coruscant, and his mother was in training to become a nurse at a local hospital. His family always struggled with financial problems, so Shen had very little possessions. On his tenth birthday however, Shen's parents wanted to get him a special present to commemorate his big day. So on the morning of his birthday, Shen's mother and father brought him to a small motor store and let him pick out his very own hover board.
Shen was so overjoyed that as soon as they got out of the store he asked to take a ride around the block. His parents agreed, and he took off. He couldn't believe how fast he was going as he zipped through the air around the buildings. But his joy was soon replaced by confusion when he rounded the last corner. In front of the store where he had left his parents were two lifeless bodies laying on the sidewalk with blood streaming out from under them. Shen was so distraught that he dropped his hover board and ran. He ran until he couldn't run any more.
In the following two years, Shen lived on the streets, surviving by stealing food and sleeping in dark alleys. His luck finally ran out however when he stole a loaf of bread from a local bakery and was chased down by the store owner. He was then arrested by the authorities and brought to the police station.
As he was being walked into the station, he accidentally bumped into a man who was passing through the door. The man, was in reality a Jedi master, turned to apologize, but sensed a strong connection to the force from Shen. So he took Shen with him to the Jedi temple, where Shen was made an initiate and began his Jedi path.
