Shapers Paradise

Sitting by a small lake in the forests of Voss, Sun looked out at the water while chewing on a large hunk of cooked meat. Behind him a fire burned with a large hunk of meat hung over it slowly cooking. Most wouldn't expect a member of the Silver jedi to live this type of way, but Sun had chose this willingly. He wasn't able to adjust to the comfortable life that many led. HE didn't believe in soft beds that you could sink into or technology that did everything you needed. The humans could keep it, Sun had spent al his life living in the wild surviving since he was a child and wouldn't change now because of a different environment. A small tent was set up in the corner of the clearing but it was instead made of two stone slabs that protruded from the ground. Due to his knowledge in shaping Sun was able to create a small tent for himself and had been able to make a fire with little effort.

This was the life the Versi'Ra lived after exiling himself from his tribe finding himself a unworthy leader. He lacked the strength of his father and certainly didn't have the skill of his mother when it came to controlling the elements, and with both their deaths Sun felt lost but knew that living on the same way would be of no use. He had to find himself. So he left his home planet and found himself at the doorsteps of the Silver Jedi led to them by Man'a or the force as they called it. They had offered him a room that he politely declined and when he told them what he wanted to specialize in they pointed him in the direction of [member="Saki"] who was a known shaper. Sun was waiting for her currently his muscular upper body exposed to the elements while his white hair stood straight up the red tips shining from the sunlight.

"Alright lift it up." Saki stood there in the middle of the open courtyard with the droids and rangers. They had been working on something or at least trying to one of the hard parts of knowing matukai techniques was you had to try and make things you couldn't smash a great deal of the time. Smashing it added character as it were same way you should also scuff up a speeder or ship yourself then let someone else do it and get all upset about it. She smirked hearing the news that a student... a padawan was asking for her as a shaper and she had to admit. Niamh had wanted her for her matukai teachings, now someone wanting her for her shaping abilities. It was nice to feel wanted while she spoke to the boy.

"Well don't just stand there go and get him, he can learn while we are building this. Should be a large enough once we find the right materials." Saki looked at the turadium bars covered with duracrete for strength ans an alusteel door. Her fists clenching as she popped her neck before throwing a punch at the wall with a thunderous crack that echoed through the courtyard. The duracrete cracking but staying in place as she gave a smirk backing away for a moment to look at the work. "Alright start from here, we need something to take to the ship for the council to see. I want the flooring and walls constructed and then start bringing in the major parts, we'll put a sled on it to transport it." She looked around for the padawan who had been sent for to come and join her while she sat on the casing with her major equipment.

The sound of rustling could be heard from the clearings edge, but it barely registered to Sun. If some animal was a threat to him he could easily kill it but what he heard were the sound of heavy metalic footsteps approaching him. Eating the last bit of meat from his prey SUn threw the bone onto the ground and turned brushing himself off to find the protocol droid looking at him. "Mistress Saki awaits you in the courtyards sir, I can show you the wa-" Before the droid had even finished his sentence Sun had took off in a run past the droid almost knocking him over. Entering the woods Sun jumped and began to use the tree limbs as a faster way of transportation swinging from branch to branch.

Sun exited the forest in less then two minutes due to his shortcut and in the distance he could see the Courtyard and the women who was supposed to be teaching him and to be honest she kind of scared Sun as he saw her punch the thick wall and hearing the echo that it caused. He was tempted to go back into the forest yet he did not, he had a goal to accomplish and wasn't leaving till he did. Walking up behind the women Sun noticed how even he towered over hr but did not comment on it and instead bowed before saying. "It's a pleasure to meet you Master Saki. Sorry for being late."

Saki heard the voice and looked at the one who had arrived, rolling her shoulders for a moment while looking him up and down with a careful gaze. Plenty of things one could do and she spoke. "You are not late, but you are interesting. Not many want to come and be shapers. Though the Silver jedi does seem to be getting a few now." She stood up opening the case more because training wasn't training without equipment. "Alright then while they are building up that cault I want you to tell me about yourself. What made you want to be a shaper within the order?"

Examining the tattoos on Saki's body Sun found himself transfixed by them beginning to wonder if they were symbols from her clan or specific race but was snapped out of it as she asked him why he wanted to be a shaper. TO Sun it was a simple way of respecting his race considering that was the only thing besides empowering themselves that they used Man'a for. "Well I follow that path because it is the one most familiar to me. My race has shaman's that use what you call the force to manipulate the elements and my mother was one of them. Being a chieftain of my tribe I was taught how to control the elements to a limited extent and I'd like to expand that knowledge. It is literally one of the ways of my people and I will not dishonor them by fore fitting the ways just because I'm in exile. "

She raised an eyebrow to that giving a nod of her head while drawing two gauntlets out of the case. The metallic black with rods on it and a smirk on her face while she held them. "Alright then we can start, you are going to hold these and we'll see how good you are at using the air to help yourself." She set them down not telling how much they weighed (see fists of fabula above) and moved over to see to the vault door as it was there. The flooring being brought in by the droids and set in place with welders. "Good good." Her amusement playing at the situation before turning back round and looking at the boy with her arms over her chest.

Sun peaked over Saki's shoulder curiously as she dug into the case but as she pulled out the gauntlets he began to question what he was about to learn. He had spotted some of the other things she kept in the case causing his eyes to widen. Just what was this women? Acting as though he hadn't been peaking Sun observed the droids till he got his commands from Saki. Looking at the gauntlets they didn't look like they weighed that much. Reaching down he picked one up surprised by the weight it actually had. Due to being a Versi'Ra he could handle it but moving with them on constantly would become tiresome. After dawning both gauntlets Sun stood before Saki his arms at his sides tail swishing ever so slightly as he got excited for what he may be about to learn. "Hmm whats next?"

Saki just grinned as she stomped her foot to the ground and brought up small section of earth. "Now you practice making a wall to protect yourself. The gauntlets will keep you rooted to the ground and connected for the shaping. Didging until you can make a wall will teach you how to shape the air to move about." She kicked her foot sending a small section of wall at a good position to dodge and not to fast. This wasn't a battle this was training you needed some kiddy gloves and he was already holding some of the heaviest gauntlets in the order.

Before Sun even had a chance to figure out how big a wall or what type Saki wanted him to create he felt the ground vibrate as the small pillar earth began to move towards him. Sun began gathering the force to himself preparing to use it to create a wall but found it was taking him to long and instead called upon the wind using it to push himself off to the side avoiding the pillar. He could've just jumped out the way but that would tire him faster considering the weight of the gloves. Sun would then take a stance with both legs spaced shoulders width apart and both arms tucked at his sides.

Good he was dodging and moved now, creating another pillar of earth while she could see the construction and the vault was being loaded on the sled. Droids making the work quicker and easier for the jedi as it went off. The alusteel walls gleaming silver and doors being secured. When the time came they would and could work on it but she trusted the council on where they were going to be putting it. Racks for artifacts and holocrons, or anything else they found that needed to be hidden away. "Good now keep it up." She moved kicking another pillar towards him and with her fists dividing it into two pillars.

[member="Saki"]

Taking deep breaths and calming himself Sun examined the vault and how fast the droids were working on it. He didn't even have to look as he heard the pillars explode from the ground and then be sent in his direction. Using his calm and peace he called upon the force and began shaping the wind but this time beneath his feet. HE waited till the last possible second before jumping up using the air as a propulsion that sent him into a flip over both pillars where he landed in a crouch.

Saki watched the boy and now he was getting it, use to the weight but he needed to learn and focus. "Stand your ground, dodging is great but if you want to shape the earth you are going to need to be firm and rooted." She was paying attention to the vault as well and while it was only built so far up and the shell, it was something she was glad to see. Her foot spinning around as she sent a rock out of the ground towards him. "Earth shapers know how to take a hit and be as strong as the earth, it takes a poweful will and drive." The jedi master stomped on the ground again getting another rock as she punched it towards him.

[member="Saki"]

As Saki said to take a hit Sun flinched inwardly, he had honestly had no intention of letting the rocks hit him but if it was what he needed to do he would. Pushing himself up to his feet he watched her carefully as both rocks were launched in his direction. Not moving or even flinching Sun continued to watch their approach at the last second he would lash out punching the rock that she had sent at him so as to not get hit in the face. While the other rock hit him dead center. Pain radiated through his chest but Sun stood still as though he hadn't felt it.

Saki continued to watch him and well she had been hoping he would stop the rocks, standing your ground being planted and ready to use the earth was what you needed to do she had learned. Air was being intangible and light as a feather, water calm and using your breathing for contraction and expansion, fire was wild and energy but keeping control as to not burn the world. Saki moved jumping into the air and kicking her feet downwards at the ground as she launched higher into the air with a jet of flame from each. Her hands went up as she pulled a ball of air into them and sent the invisible gust downwards. "Move like the elements, become intangible harder to hit."
