PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
His skin is the hue of sand and glistens when the is in the sun. His body is scarred from various tribulations that he had to go through.
INVENTORY
Double-bladed blue lightsaber.
His chest, shoulder, and wrists are armored to protect him from blaster bolts and edged slashes before they are completely worn from wear and tear.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Shang is trying to find his path in life. A late bloomer in the Jedi Order, he was taken in when he was 25. Prior he had no one to rely on and guide him or encourage him to do what he wanted to do. So he tends to be reserved and keeps to himself. He focuses on his training in the ways of the Jedi hoping to find his true purpose.
STRENGTHS
Disciplined - Shang relies on his routine. He looks to improve on what he has already learned from his time in the Jedi to become more powerful.
Calm under pressure - In a stressful situation, Shang knows how to step up and help others get through a rut just to make it to tomorrow.
WEAKNESSES
Inferiority complex - Shang doesn't feel as though he deserves to be a knight because of what little knowledge he has of the Jedi. He doubts his own abilities and as a result, brings others down.
Bloodlust - Before he was a Jedi, he was a bodyguard and he was good at his jobbed. He has a killer instinct that he relies on to survive. But he has trouble keeping control of his emotions, causing him to go for the kill even after Shang emerges the victor.
HISTORY
Shang was born on Copperline to a well-meaning middle class family. He would have been chosen for the Jedi if not for the fact that he was kidnapped on his way home from school when he was only 12 by pirates. Shang was to be sold off into slavery but was 'saved' by a gang of bounty hunters who decided to use Shang as a bodyguard. He was trained by the boss of the group, teaching him how to use a blaster and a vibroblade. Shang would be punished for not making the progress expected of him by lashings or sleeping on the floor of their freighter. By the time Shang was in his 20's he started going on bounties with his gang, racking up kills and going toe to toe with other skilled bounty hunters. Shang's life would take a hard swerve when Shang and his bounty were hunting a smuggler who was cheating the Hutts. The gang expected the smuggler to be an easy kill but found out that he was a Jedi Master who had been investigating corruption in a spaceport being perpetrated by the Hutts. He had murdered everyone in Shang's gang, except for Shang himself as he was able to hold his own with a vibrospear and blaster pistol for being apprehended as the jedi detected Shang's connection to the force, he figured he would make a perfect Jedi.
Shang was 25 when he was brought into the order and trained with his new master up but unfortunately he was assassinated, presumably by the Hutts who had been annoyed with Shang's master's antics. Now masterless and no one to guide him, Shang feels isolated in the order as he attempts to forge a new path for himself.
