Dev Shadows of Atrisia

[Junko Ike]

Barca was going over more technical readouts that they had wirh Kirano. The pair would be giving her logistical information for technical readout... improvements and the means to upgrade from a military standpoint all of their systems. Miyoung was the smartest among them but she wasn't a military leader or fighter.. she was a skilled archer, scientist and the one who worked with them on a number of projects. Junko could see more information coming from the city AI's as Miyoungs aegis network was going up. They were using the towers and improving parts of it already... the reconstructors mostly breaking down and fixing interiors over the exteriors of the buildings.

Junko could see other parts, the expansion wards were being built up with their walls and improved upon. The thicker doorways being designed, security checkpoints and more of the citizens were here. They were some of the more impressive she had to admit... veterans who preferred the slower pace here then in the rushing city itself. The trains were moving around with their internal high speed rail lines, supplies going where needed and those who were injured being helped. Survivors from the alliance were here as well as she knew the lightsworn would be around. "Princes Junko." There was a voice as she could see Ahri who had a grin on her face.

Ahri was looking at her and Junko paused as she moved closer to the woman. Offering only a smile though when she wrapped her arms around her and held herself in her favorite place. "Ah safe." She said it while she buried her face and head for a moment but pulled back. "At least this is a better perspective then some things were. We'll be able to do a lot now." Ahrri looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "From that perspective you just have an eyeful of... never mind I get it now." She laughed to herself though with that and they would be able to check on a few things. It was considered impressive in any case as they had done things here few others could imagine or think of.

Junko was looking at more of it. "We won't be able to stay and finish here.. there is a lot more to do and we need to visit the other cities now to make sure that they are implementing the improvements to the defenses. I don't know when I am going to get to see you again." Junko said it but Ahri looked at her. "Not true, I'll be around.. Jar'kai was largely the only place attacked but the debris from ships destroyed well... it was within the one shield so some of it is on the planet." Junko gave a nod of her rhead to that.. she knew there was debrris from ships and the death star in other places that they would have to deal with and they were.

"We'll have to deal with the debris, the reconstructors will be sent out where needed as well as the clouds. The real annoyances are going to be what is still in orbit. The Alliance more or less gave their fleet to the meatgrinder. We might be able to recover some things but most is not going to be worth much salvage... even less in terms of technologies that could be helpful or even evacuated crew members... we saw no signals or beacons." She said it and knew there were more recovery efforts, their admirals and ships had been ignored same as the stations which is what allowed them to saturate and recover much more. Sasori's battlecruisers were then also impressive.

THose were helping them as well, with upgrades for their fighters and improvements to the patrol craft... they had sent fleets to secure the corridor that had been created while the breakwater was being replaced and repaired. The intense work would bruise a few egos maybe... but they knew the risk and now they were upgrading their beacons with the sentinel hyperspace network which would detect and augment the interdictions protocols.. they had continued to advance the levels of technology that was present rather then just remain. The expansion wards opened as the doors to the educational and research district did... buildings with piles of equipment, technologies and salvage that people were brringing in.

Junko was able to look at some of the wards and it was beautiful. The research and university ward had taken a few hits but it also held some of the more advanced methods to defend as they had experimental weapons and armor... so in theory they could have turned the tide. Now it had the scrap piles of equipment that were being broken down and scanned into the database to be added. Quickly enough with the raw matter it was being turned into becoming rebuilding supplies for the pottery and tables. The kazue stone could be patched up and improved upon but it would repair itself where needed and they just needed to make sure it had everything.

Ahri seemed to be gravitating towards Miyoung as the two of them had a lot to discuss and the interface was updating and upgrading with new information for all of them. It would allow the Atrisian people to learn as a collective whole what they had been facing but the best part was the new AI's and computers. Miyoung had developed it to run almost unlimited scenarios... possibilities and predictions based on so many factors that they were inputting and that was on the holonet that it was providing them a possible means to see where their technologies were going or would go in the future if they were developing it.

She could see more of the wards themselves where they were working on things. it was an impressive sight to behold as once they got towards the research areas they would be able to really work on it. The research areas were abuzz as they were brigning out much of the medical supplies they had. New things being worked on and this was a chance to try them in the field... or the new implants they wanted to universally apply to the Commonwealth itself. THey would be able to alter genetics and cells as opposed to being intrusive plus would carry down the line genetically for what they were planning to do and try to build.

At least as Junko was watching Ahri and Miyoung going to work with them she was able to get a better idea of what was going on. THey would provide more information in some of the cases as well. They were her lead science users with all ofthe skills so she would be able to trust them in many of the instances here.. Miyoung even had some of the brightest minds under her who would be able to help her a lot better then her and the others.. they had some smarts but not compared to all of the science leaders of the Commonwealth.. they could just make use of what they did here and in the field. Kirano and Uzeki were moving as they helped some of the people and Phaidor was looking around.

"It was better then you are thinking, better then most of them though it would be compared to before... before they wanted to dominate and this time they just wanted a slaughter. Both times have been denied but with what happened above it could likely be worse for all of us. We'll need to work on a lot more but people are going to keep coming to Atrisia... now we'll just have to do what we do best. Adapt, survive and improve it all." Phaiodor said it as she waas looking at Junko and provided a few other things.. they had the fortresses and the lost cities that they had been working to uncover and now Junko had a lot of things to continue working on as various projects.

Junko gave a nod of her head to that, Atrisia needed to evolve more.. not quickly mind but they needed to keep up with everyone else and not get situated in a position where they were going to be lax. They needed to develop better technologies to advance and protect the people, develop and then over-develop shielding and armor. She knew they had more things coming.. the slew of improved technologies Miyoung created based on the attack showed that.. they were reinforcing the other cities who had come to their aid and offering it to the worlds thaat were within the Commonwealth. They would be able to develop even more she knew.

"Phaidor we have a lot more work to do, we survived... some might claim victory some governments in the galaxy certainly are and all of them were the lynch pin, the essential one to it who led the charge." Junko said it with a small smile on her face though when she was walking through the expansion ward among the buildings. Phaidor had more of a look but she gave a nod of her head in understanding. "I know and I also know we shoudln't obsess with it right away. We are going to have a lot of time and a lot of work to do.... but if all we do is focus on the bad it will make us all old and stressed out... and no one wants that. We need to be prepared without being tense."

Junko looked at her and raised an eyebrow as they were being joined by Xifang. The massive tiger strutting around as his armor was off... the tail swishing, some of the children playing with him. "If this is an angle to try and convince me to rub you with oils you can just ask... I wouldn't miss the whole rub down." She said it when Xifang looked aat her and he nuzzled... the massive tiger licking her face with a coarse tongue but he had been doing great... she saw those claws shred their enemies and she got to fire off massive tail cannons. "Oh whose a good boy... did you get to eat bad guys did you did you." SHe was speaking and despite the massive size.

Xifang was happy as she was talking to him. The tiger gleaming practically as he had been freshly cleaned after the battle as well she could tell... well okay he likely cleaned himself but it still stood as an important fact. The jedi master and princess herself was checking on parts of it that they would be able to do now as her attention went from Xifang who was following her to some of the piles where students were logging information and technologies with their drones. Junko could see the weapons that they were checking and the standard rifles were... lackluster she would admit as they didn't seem to have much of a threat to the rest of them.

She coudl also see the various pieces of armor as they were being tested for strengths and weaknesses, individual pieces would be beneficial as they could complete a tactical readout and the bodies recovered would be laid to rest and sent to whatever families they could be forr proper rites. They were not monsters in many cases and would see about returning even the misguided warriors who had come afterr them to theirr families and their own people. She was checking on more parts of it as they walked through the piles and were looking at the flying drop pods that had been impressive... coffins when they dropped smacking off of the kazue stone streets and buildings.

Phaidor was looking at the pods and she had a look on her face largely of confusion. "Single occupant, minimal armor, minimal impact shielding, minimal gear and fairly cheap to make. Really the only special thing on it is the field disruptor for throwing it into a shield and hoping that one isn't a physical one." She said it while she was looking things over and trying to get some more information. "We might be able to work on that.. the gravity and plasma array would act as a counter for them again. The gravity slowing their descent while the plasma superheats them. With those flak shells that were being developed we will also be able to just smash into them. The disruptor means shielding is generally weakened."

JUnko gave a nod, Phaidor was quickly learning tactical readouts and how to look at things like the military minded Kirano and Barca a benefit to all of her handmaidens being close.. and it helped that between Miyoung and Sun they have some of the brightest minds there focused and ready to work. The Mirialian was never to be discounted in many cases. She would usually have a whole lot of things that they would be able to learn. JUnko could see the danger of the pods... they were even more crazy in their design then the drop pods Emperor Kahoshi made those werre at least designed to be safe for deployment and they were nearly fifty years old and out of date.

The interface showing the comparisons to the old model Atrisian drop pods was impressive and it gave them a lot that they would be able to do with it. THey did need to update their model... and they could. THey had the new technologies themselves. Deploy the drrop pods and have it overly designed to arm the squad being sent in while also overtaking an area with their aegis fortifications. Now that was an idea they could work with.. have the drop pods become a forward operating base linked with Legion and basically able to saturate an area in enemy emplacements... If they released thaat in the capital of the Empire it could be a queen.

SHe debated it but put in the request to Miyoung... if she could do it... if they could make a newer model deployable pod for themselves well they could return the favor if they had the need or they could use it for themselves... if another attack came deploy them within their own cities to surrprise but also develop fortifications on top of what fortifications they had. Create an substantial and robust defensive screen that will keep growing and augmenting itself with auxiliary soldiers. Phaidor was busy... messing with some of the armor as she looked at it. "Princess, this stuff is so heavy how do they move in it.. like it looks stiff and tight but not in the fun way."

Junko looked at her holding the armor and talking about it. A small shake of her head though as she was seeing the interface pointing out the parts of it and the breakdown that they had. "Well they believe heavier plates are more protective. It makes for gaps in the armor and vulnerable places." She said it as Phaidor nodded. "I supposed, I mean holes in defense are not exactly ideal but if they have this many in their normal armor what must that means for their planetary defenses or some of their homes." She said it with a small laugh on her face when she was checking over a few things else they had. "And these weapons are clunky like children toys."

Junko laughed a little at that and they were kind of bulky and blocky... looked more like plasteel or plastoid with how they remained clean and fairly normal. It wasn't a knock.. well it was but it wasn't meant to be a dangerous thing. It was just something that they would have and could face down. With more impressive weapons at least... better she could think of any number of thing Miyoung or Barrca could come up with to upgrade their armor to mess with it. If they could make a tuned energy dampener then they would be aable to possibly make it so only Atrisian weapons worked on ships and planets... and they were biometrically locked.

Phaidor was looking at more of it. "And these helmet, with the armor.. it is like they can't even turn their heads. I suppose it can give an intimidation factor but there is not a lot here of substance... most of it seems alloys and some armor easily handled." Junko looked at it and gave another nod of her head. There was a danger to it though... they couldn't get so arrogant that they thought they were better but they also couldn't get into a massive place where they doubted their own technologies. THey rarely needed to compete and with most Alliance forces vanishing as quickly as they had arrived well she knew it was going to be... difficult for others soon.

Junko was looking at more of it and they could develop new technologies as needed, better though was to use Miyoung super quantum brain computer see if there was a progression track for potential upgrades the empire would do to their technologies. If they could work on predicting possible improvements, they could have more of a surprise... or potentially work on a universal upgrade that would function for a wide enough range it would matter little. SShe knew Miyoung would have a handful of things already and she would have a lot more. The impressive rate of their factoies was beneficial to them as was the technical aspects that they were building up.

Miyoung returned to Junko as she continued to work on things. Phaidor had more information on the equipment but she was mostly looking at some of the debris from the death star that had been brought in and there wasn't a lot for them to see or deal with. "Princess we got some new stuff set up. The duplicators will have it ready by the time we return to the palace to roll out into the cities." Miyoung was happy though as her drones were following her and they had been upgraded to give her a lot more information. Junko couldn't see what was being transferred and talked about between them. She just knew one thing... Miyoungs mind was going several hundred miles a minute and they were overclocked to keep up.

Miyoung was happy though. "We have developed a few other things and upgrades... we'll be able to share them with the other cities to start implementing the changes as needed." Where she was looking the princess and other handmaidens were coming back. They all had a few things done. "THe arrmy has been dispersing in most places. We will be able to tone down a few things but they have begun the upgrades and rebuilds of the walls and villages. With the new smart system upgrades we'll be able to do a lot... like really we are developing the villages into functional barrracks so that we can stage armies across the planet and move them with hypergates and smart roaads."

Junko gave a nod to that, a fair amount of time had passed... most ships that had come to the system had moved to the edges or returned to patrols. With the breakwater damaged but being repaired their monitoring was now more important then ever... their shipyards and Atrisian shipyards were now more important then ever. If gave them a higher level of infrastructure then many others would face off against. Junko was able to plan around it as the army had been fully mobilized so they weren't going anywhere yet.. they needed something to decompress and something that proved highly effective and fun. She was looking at it.

"We'll be able to have a lot more done. I know they have been working harder and harder on a few aspects but the armies will need something to do which is why the expansion wards were reopened so quickly. Some are already returning to their homes. Some are here but will be able to go to the city barracks and housing. We have even more being worked on now with overhauls to the walls themselves and we are going to upgrade each shield projector itself. Develop them to be something on par with the others and if we can beef up their own security and durability to levels where each will require full commitment of forces we can drastically slow down progress."

Junko gave a nod of her head to that, if they could maintain and keep up the continued works.. if they could improve upon the wall design at every aspect then they would be able to beef it up more and more. Improving their defensive nature that would give the aegis itself the means to properly upgrade and fortify itself. Defensively Atrisia had been a shell and as they continued to work on it... well she wanted that shell to be like the hull of the sun crusher... self repairing and able to withstand a dozen superrnova... or a black hole. It was a goal they had as they could make as many offensive means as they wanted and they were. The weaver drones were forming and distributing.

Miyoung had many ideas. "We are also looking at upgrades for the makie.. not like mine to make them incredibly smart for processing power... but if we can make it so every Atrisians makie is a defender and personal assistant. Then we can make it so even if caught in another surprise attack the rapid mobilization of military assets can be done. Hold out until the army is ready and prepared." She said it as Junko was able to see the design ight have been a little bulkier but not by much for their average makie.. but then it could separate and become ablative piece with more forming as it made a battleframe to attack and defend.

"Miyoung this is... this could be both amazing and insane... but I love it." Junko said it while she was exploring the idea of what they could do with their makies now.. if everyone had power armor at the ready they could benefit with it and if their soldiers had it... damn she could just image it with the medical drones they had developing. Miyoung would be spoiling them since a direct combat drone would also serve them well. It gave Junko some ideas of ways they could improve the civilian clothing lines... there was always something special to be had after all. She could also think of some new equipment... they had the interfaces but they could upgrade them more possibly.

"These look amazing and with the medical drones out soldiers... hell out citizens can become that much more protected and able to defend themselves and their planet. We might have to tweak a few things... mostly I am looking at the parts of it to work with the other things we have. The medical drones but also the emergency power armor... if we can have it as options for the people then it will allow for a continued diversity of tactical means." Junko grinned to that though and there were possibilities with this... something more then what she was initially thinking about as well.. she could see them being able to develop this technology to make it so all citizens combat ready.

Miyoung was walking with her as they would be able to continue going towards the airships and the first main city wall. The bridge was beautiful but they woudln't be able to walk the distance between the walls. The mobile divisions were also out there as they were working to clear more debris. Junko walked with her handmaidens as they had spent a few hours there.. the expansion wards showing many more people while they walked past who were getting along and there were prisoners who were being taken to the transports after being stripped of weapons and armor and then checked. They weren't going to make most thing easy but they were offering them the better chance.

Junko talked with aa few, handed food to others and allowed the force to guide her where she needed to go. Xifang being with her helped as the tiger seemed happy and content with his surrounding even swishing his tail in excitement. Barca rejoined them as her war droid was flying above them with a few of the others. The armored mandalorians from Xam'Chi were strong looking and prepared for any number of things that could be sent around. They were securing a few places like the embassies and the waterways were being seaarched and purified in case there was anymore toxin within the water from the grenades.

Junko went from the buildings towards the walls that held up amazingly. The kazue stone showing minimal damage as she looked parts of it over. "There isn't much in the way of damage." She said it and Barca spoke. "Most of the walls held... even the damaged sections of kazue stone were not nearly as damaged as some places and with Miyoungs patch materia it is being reinforced and altered. Self repairs are largely already done and now they are being reinforced. The new emplacements will give even more as well as the new generators that have been developed. With these they can release a swarm of shield drones and that will just mess with everything."

Junko nodded to that as she could see the wall and where the droids were working to reinforce it with new emplacements. There were more orchid platforms being set up, more spaced out shield projectors allowing them to have the sectional planetary shielding. Defensive turrets and stations for soldiers to water. All within view of each other and designed to be an impressive display as they had guard houses space enough they could see if something happened to each other. It was all about the overlapping power of contingencies, protocols and redundancies that helped in most of their things and having the reconstructors set up allowed a lot to be done.

The trip up the wall was no easy thing now.. they were establishing entire new defensive measures within and the soldiers who were being em placed, the biots and the droids would serve them well enough. New areas where the orchid platforms and now longshot droids were being setup with juggernauts. They would be able to use them with their heavier tanks in most places and it would serve them well enough. She knew they were also connecting and expanding parts of the lower smart tunnels. It would allow them greater access around the planet, connection to the newer military facilities that they were developing in the walls expansion and more.

"It is looking good Miyoung you worked really hard to make all of this possible." She said it and Miyoung had a look on her face while she was doing more with her interface. They were directing the reconstructors and bigger droids to work with the soldiers and engineers. Junko saw Kirano and Barcaa there as they were coordinating soldiers and the sight of the airship as it came in was a beautiful thing to see... she could make out all parts of it gleaming. The battle scarring from the fight largely had avoided anything beyond throwing bodies at the so many of their assets, their armorr divisions, their vehicles and ships were untouched.

The top of the wall gave her a greater view of it all. She could see both sides of the wall from here and the parapet towers, the orchid platforms as they were being reset in places and the emplacements bubbles along it. Nanotech being used to smooth the surfaces again as they were repaired and outfitted with the newest pieces of Miyoungs upgrades to drastically enhance and improve their capabilities and durability to levels far beyond anything they would have been able to imagine. The nanites in the air working with the reconstructors and labor droids that were reinforcing more parts of it as Junko went to the highest paint and looked at the great gates of Atrisia.

The large gates were being reinforced and worked on. They had held out easily enough, the goal had been something she couldn't discern so she was looking more at what they had there for now. THe heavier doors of the gates as they could be swung open easily enough with the repulsor systems and anti grav lifting. THey were simply too heavy compared to many other things and these were the standards for Atrisian cities across the Commonwealth. A benefit once they implemented all of it and would be able to build it up. Junko could see more of their aarmor divisions as the airships were taking some and others were being loaded up on the gentoku.
