Dev Shadows of Atrisia

She was able to see a lot more as well.. with the kirano sensors well she couldn't technically see what was there but it was connected to the network which meant she was connected to the network. SHe looked at the information that was coming to her and the image of Mara appeared on her interface so they could have their call. THe chiss with her eyepatch raised an eyebrow but wasn't suprised or revealing much. "Princess it is good to hear from you. I was uncertain when my request would get through but my daughter has said you wanted to make it a top priority." SHe said it and JUnko offered a bow and a smile on her face.

"For one who has aided Atrisia so much there was no way I could make you wait Admiral. Please we will be coming in soon enough, show me around and lets meet these leaders who need some help. We should be able to easily get it for them." JUnko said it and there were mutual nods of heads as they were passing one of the layers of defensive lines. The asteroid field around the inner worlds leading towards the most gas giants with fotress and production moons. That would easily reinforce the core systems but also provided a massive bulwark against approaching forces within the planet and had dedicated fleets.

JUnko was able to see more as well... more of the planets that were around them as she could see it. THey were passing the more refined worlds... the ones refugees were settling. Atrisia V which was well for farmers and priestesses or priests. The temple there something no one had seen before or since but the crystal deer were beautiful and according to legends a force user had bonded with the planet itself. THey couldn't prove this one way or the other which said something but being on the surface of the planet always felt to others... off like there was something there below the surface just waiting for you.

THe asteroid field was one of the big things... a massive undertaking as the grid for defensive lasers was designed to be random and could come at any angle to mess with fighters... patrols and interdicition was used to funnel them into the asteroid fields and more narrowed pathways. THe shuttle going through it as they continued to beeline it through the area towards the ninth planet in the system. WIth the other worlds looking the same slightly. THey were massive gas giants with moons that served as their planets but they were being just as populated and since the worlds were three to four times the size of Atrisia the moons could be fairly large.

There was more, several stations were being constructed.. the jewels of Atrisia project... massive is size they would serve as military strongholds within the system as well as protect heavy production for them in the form of industry. Each one making a small ring in the system within the massive rings of defense and layering it more and more as you went into the system but not slouching on the enterior. THey wanted to show what a massive undertaking the Commonwealth was giving and for worlds within... this was what they hoped to do. Make each system so fortified there was no reason to approach and try to start problems.

"THis is all looking impressive." She said it with a smile on her face and they were checking out more of it. Junkos interest though was captured with more of it... As the moons glittered on the worlds they passed. Heavy signs of population and construction... improved areas with stations and of course all of the Atrisian ships.. they were truely rebuilding themselves int something much much better as it were now. The efforts of the Commonwealth paying off from what the emperor had planned... even the massive military world for the Inosuke... experimented on Lirans from one of the old emperors was looking to be impressive.

They had started with the anshin... which made sense but on the outside of it was a layer of stations for heavy interdiction that basically sat constantly in orbit and the trajectory of the world... so as it went around the sun over the course of the year... it also always had a large screen of stations. This would allow it to draw in and pull out of hyperspace any ships for making a chokepoint. THey could screen it with the stations as they reinforced each other with shielding when not near the planet allowing attacked sections to be monitored and patrols sent. IT then displayed war worlds... smaller military stations designed to deploy automated fighter swarms.

Then it got to the first layer of the anshin for them... which was less about the population and more about well... it was about gun thick struts covered in turbolaser batteries.... focused fire aauto cannons for fighters and hypervelocity cannons designed to tear through ships. With hanger bays for fighters spread across thaat could be launched aalong with hundreds of heavy cruisers able to focus and combine fire. Sure they didn't have their massive ships but one five kilometer ship or two hundred one kilometer ships made little different. THe deployed flowers provided saturation and firing supporrt as they were an additional hazard able to make for crossfire.

THe Inosuke were really.... well they were working with a number of the militaries that had joined the Commonwealth in setting this chokepoint up. THe gates here between the stations was something that everything went through ship wise and would need to be able to be scanned. No exceptions but it was faster for Commonwealth ships that were approved. The scanners and information being used by them to determine and code-phrases designed by linguistic experts to sound much more natural in conversation s casually in the case of attack or threats. It would be a better means to properly communicate and alert the forces.

Once closer through she could also see the fortress moons that were being crafted and designed. From the seat of the celestial palace which was like a cloud city on steroids with its struts and mining capabilities.. they were harvesting everythign that they could and what was generally considered junk or unusable they were converting into raw matter... something to be collected and used in their fabricators for any number of materials thanks to molecular programming and sustainability. This gave the Commonwealth again another massive resource as they could turn anything into their use and had less waste.

That also brought up what was a project.. they had a few more the materia was one... they had it for matter but they were going to use a version for food... if they could get one ro be food and oxygen.. they could convert it and then one for the air... two distinct new materia forms... to go with the first and then there was going to be an engineered microcrystal coating that used pyronium as a basis... the hyperspatial dimension that it absorbed electromagnetic energy and dispersed it away... well if they could tap into that for say kinetic or regular energy based.. they could have a powerful piece of equipment or thermal exhaust from heat sinks.

IF they could design it properly they could have the best of running their equipment... making it so they didn't product heat or absorbed energy exhaust and even were able to take massive kinetic impact strikes... some of their weapons, armor or well ships would amazingly benefit while reducting the danger of say a sleg explosion. Then they would have the means to draw exotic matter from hyperspatial dimensions to convert into food, air and construction material for their equipment... a means to extrat it and put it in there... so the Commonwealth could become virtually self sustaining... in its own way it would just have to work on people next.

THey moved into the funnel.. the eighth planets line that would serve to narrow and filter as paassing by its anshin shielding on one side and its stations on the other. The gates were clear as they developed advanced gatekeeping means... a massive sensor net that functioned to identify stealth ships on dead space that was created. IF sensors were blocked and couldn't connect, if readings were reflected perfectly... if there was a gap they had the means to monitor and observe here quickly enough. They were setting up other defenses that she could see as well.. the innovations of the Inosuke and their well allies in chiss, zeltrons, atrisians made for a show.

"We are passing the ruby gates." She heard the pilot say as they were processed through.. even the royal ships were scanned and tagged leaving the system with a full battery of sensor scans... this way when it returned if it had alterations... they could be made aware of it. Junko was fine with it.. there was a balance between safety and security which they were trying to reach... so far they were adding the security in a way that most didn't seem to mind and didn't encroach on their lives... so safe and secure with freedoms to move around just don't do things you know is baad to draw attention.... simple enough and she stayed sitting there.

Junko was able to look at more things they had here... while waiting to go through the gates... the ships were also being more orderly. The traffic in and out of the Atrisian system had largely filtered... the vessels who wanted to do business came and did business... pirates and smugglers rarely went towards the interior worlds staying to Nibia where the criminal elements went. The navy and all judicial forces were happy to let the gangs and major criminals have their own enterprises on the massive asteroid clearing houses... which yes it had expanded... it had become a thriving economy that kicked up and in for its own autonomy.

THere were other things.. with the new anshins they were also organizing the businesses.. the chiss well they had the closest whcih could get the supplies and those could then be moved into Commonwealth space. It eliminated a lot of the interaction while allowing better security scans and handling of the cargo... no random boxes of viral pathogens and droids that were going to be used to attack them... at least not yet. THere was also the gate here with its ships being organized at least... they were seeking to really work on it as the stations gleamed from their use and military vessels came into view protecting them with the fighters.

She could see the fighters and had a look on her face at them. THey were beautiful.. they were quite a sight as Atrisian standards went... even more so they were just cooler compared to some. Sleek lines and the cockpit was made to rotate depending on the mode for complete control with its gyroscopic nature... Both their male, female and biot pilots approving of the design since it made it so they could all function at the peak of their combat prowess. THe fighters escort and launchers were also good as well.. pocket carriers and pickets but they also had heavy support craft for covering when their cannons couldn't do the job... even combined.

Passing through the gate and checkpoint though brought them around finally and she could see it... Ma-Kun the ninth planet in the system, home for their chiss allies and well what was serving as one of the largest depots in space. THeir ANshin was built but it was much rougher then the others... they didn't bring citizens and shops or tourists locations.. THey brought professionals.. shipyards and manufacturing areas. THey were engineering and re-engineering Atrisian ships and their own into hybrids that were more functional yes... but they shared the advanced as needed which allowed the Atrisians to improve their design aas well as share new technological endeavors.

The sight of Ma-Kun also extended much much more as it was a winter world... ice everywhere but not in the dangerous... way... well okay yes always dangerous but the chiss made it their own in that case. She could see the world and the anshin and then there was the moons while they passed. The chiss design to Atrisian ships mixed with their own they managed to bring was quite a sight as well as they stopped and awaited processing down to the facility. The process of scanning and checking for the security of the world and its people was important but there was also more to it now as Junko could see the larger ship approaching and she could feel the presence.

"Hello Mara." She said it before they received the communications from the larger ship. Mara was there and inviting them aboard instead of down to the facility where for the most part all of the same information was just less... stodgy chiss. While they happily accepted a world, resources... the families who were making the planet theirs were traditional xenophobic chiss who usually would have stayed away from outsiders and sent Mara and the defense force to fight for them instead of doing their own part in the conflict. Junko nodded her understanding to that at least since it made sense to her when the shuttle was going into the ships hanger.

THe hanger of the ship was something else entirely... Junko was looking at more of it for herself and she had a small grin on her face... the ability here to check things over was important at least... herself rising up and moving to the viewport so she would be able to see what they had here. The hanger of the ship was well what she expected... their fighters lining the waalls... there vehicles in racks but there was more... Atrisian and chiss were lined up to greet her as Mara stood tall and proud. Her blue skin was one thing... the black hair another but her eyepatch that she had from injuries well it showed a tenacity and aa strength few others did... also she was maybe an even deadlier shot now.

Junko went towards the ramp that would take her down and stopped at the top looking over herself for a moment. "HOw do I look?" She asked it of the makie droid with her and got a look but Jubei was there with her. "You look fine for meeting one of your handmaidens mothers... whom had a husband... aand is the mother of one of the women you snuggle with." Jubei was speaking in a way that wasn't nearly as subtle as she thought it was and Junko suspected that she was trying to tell her something important... maybe... they would have to see as she offered a smile on her face starting to go down the ramp.

She exited the ship walking with grand purpose down as the chiss was there to greet her and stood taller then many Atrisians... if only because they were usually on the shorter side.... and chiss had full bodies and posture. Mara thought was an old friend she had been there helping them escape she like several of Junko's best bodyguards had lost her husband when the one sith let mythos on the planet... his doctrine killing billions of them out of well out of his own pride which they needed to be able to deal with. She stood there in front of Mara for a moment starring up an down the chiss admiral who was one of the oldest allies still around on Atrisia.

"Admiral." SHe said it and didn't present an expression on her face. "Princess." Mara met her gaze though and remained at the ready. "Squirrel." Jubei pointed to one of the animals they had brought for the chiss that was in the hanger and a few internally snickered as Jubei made a point of pointing her finger as Mara and Junko both laughed embracing. "Hahaahah it is good to see you in the flesh my princess. I watched the tournament but everything here has been keeping me busy." Junko nodded and well she rarely got the chance to leave atrisia now so visiting like this was rare on the best of days. "I understand Admiral."

Mara seemed to be staring her down for a moment before she smiled along with some of her senior officers. "OH I have missed you." SHe didn't need to look at Jubei to embrace her as the girl was with them quickly enough. "It is good to see that you are both alright... I see my daughter didn't choose to join you." She said it releasing them as Junko smiled and nodded. "Yes she has it in her mind that I am going to shamelessly flirt with you." SHe said it and Jubei rubbed her temple closing her eyes... the quiet part out loud but Mara was just laughing to that. "Well that is a little bold... her father might have had something to say but where does she get these notions?"

Junko looked at her and shrugged when she thought about it. "I do not know... Kanna gets these weird ideas that I flirt with and bed any female I come across.. there are plenty who have turned me down." SHe said it resolute as Mara actually laughed to that and Jubei was muttering something about being killed.... her face redder then a sun or sith crystal as Junko started walking in the hanger patting Jubei on the shoulder. "It is going to be alright." THe woman looked at her and was snickering but she was also highly embarrassed. "You are really incouragable princess and messing with Kanna might not be the best she is in charge of your schedule."

That got a few more laughs as well messing with Kanna had sort of become the pass time... but only because of how serious she was all of the time. SOmetimes she needed a little fun to remind her that she was only human... and chiss but human all the same like the rest on Atrisia. Junko was walking with Mara as they went through the hanger and she could see the modified chiss fighters. "AS you can see our engineers have been hard at work reverse engineering the design. We went with what worked and improved the capabilities of both sides from the walker mode to the fighter and were able to reduce the shift time by several seconds. Now it is more stable and able to shift while moving."

THat got a look of interest from Junko as movement was key to the fighters with their speed needed as well as well firepower... which was important. The embersteel blades of the fighter when it was in walker mode served to make it more like a powerful battleframe and armor more so. THey needed to really push what it would and could be capable of in her opinion. "That is good to hear, I know that they have been working hard on improving many more aspects of the technology... there was some ideas from our engineers for slimming it down so it could compact and become more akin to power armor for a third and stronger mode in combat function."

Hmmm she was looking at it and the ablative plaates compacted... thicker shoulders and an area that would function as the body but they were still twice the size of a normal person... just not a walker. "Instead of jumping out and activating the patrol mode so the fighter will protect an area they will be able to use the fighter in closer quarters to provide heavier means of protection to themselves." Mara said it and Junko was following it while she walked... seeing more of the results as the pilots were soldiers... they had the same level of military training and just went to a specialized arera to learn to fly as opposed to piloting the vehicles or ground forces.

Mara though was proud they were making heavy strides in well.. their armor division.. if they could beef up the ability to saturation an area with fire... then walk in with armored soldiers it would make for better capabilities to save lives. SHielding bubbles that they could activate around civilian targets would also be important if they were doing it the right way as the jedi princess worried about that but if they could expand the use of their shield gates to be fire like ion tags over an area and used to protect homes while military targets face the threats it could turn the tide in urban engagements for what they wanted to do.

THe chiss though were also bringing a level of defensive measures... their doctrine of letting the enemy make the first attack and then wipe them out was well generally important and had served them well... the main problem was when that doctrine allowed the first move and act of aggression to be destroying Csilla. IT wasn't perfect it it had served them for thousands of years so if they could bring some of that here to the Commonwealth along with what would be zeltrons and atrisians even twi'lek and togruta well they could have better... even the mandalorians who had become part of atrisian with the liram provided insight.

Mara continued to leaad the way through the ship itself... presenting the jedi princess with some wonders as the chiss who were on board themselves looked every bit professional with some of the Commonwealth navy there... scattered Atrisians working with them and learning the systems but also going over the technical readouts of the Atrisian equipment they were using to either replace or augment their own until they built it themselves. THey had other things here as well... there were some togruta, zeltrons and best of all wookiees.. nothing like the big fuzzballs to be with you and helping out.

Junko walked by and got bows of respect and roars but returned her bows.. she wans't about to butcher the wookiee language but she would be able to help out and show them a welcomed approach. NOw that Kashyyyk was returning to life itself after the fires well... also helped that Matsu was the kind to not turn her back on potential jedi sources. The Assembly suddenly wanted trade, suddenly welcomed back Junko after shunning her and Atrisia... they still were happy to frak around with Zeltros causing refugees to come from that world to them but that was fine it meant they got some of the brightest minds and engineers.

THey came into one of the longer halls on the ship and it presented her with some more space to move around as the three people got to sit down and relax for a moment. Refreshments were served mostly some small food items and drink before looking out on the planet itself and then the shipyards. Mara was there presenting for the pair of them while the jedi princess was going over the information and data that had been brought up they could all see. "THis is all looking very very thrilling Mara... your people seem to be settling in rather well given the circumstances and we can't promise recovery fully but they are getting more people lost.

The chiss looked at her and nodded her head. "THey are mostly some do not like coming this close to the galactic core but understand that our world is gone... much of our territory lost from the likes of the empire and the maw. The dangers of staying and trying to hold out would have seen us destroyed and worse thing." THere was well the things they did fight against like the vaagari and grysk which were savage creatures who liked to destroy planets and kidnap the people to be used as slaves or even worse... they had pods on their ships to use them as living shields against essentially anyone with a heart in a battle.

"I see." Junko said it and was thinking about the best way to approach some of the situations.. there was a danger really to it all.. there was the risk they would likely have to face but the chiss and atrisians had been allies for a time.. Akio might not have been the greatest but he had expanded their influence to the unknown regions and corners of the galaxy allowing the Atrisians to make allies they might not have made otherwise so... in a way he helped lay the foundation for the new, leaner, fresher Commonwealth that did have the chance to expand and bring about change... also they sold rice and cream deserts for the price of a star destroyer.

Mara wasn't one to buckle at least... she saw Junko looking aat things as a means to better improve upon them and presented the challenge if there was one as what it was... nothing. Junko enjoyed the sight of what she had been seen and the chiss smiled. "We have also been making some advancements in the ways we also will be able to engineer. As you have seen we developed or at least some of our engineers working with Sasori the portable repair stations and bacta tanks. We have been working to improve upon these designs as a means to repair armor vehicles and even shuttles in the field. IF we can get it into the same dimensional compression technologies that is."

NOw that was an intriguing aspect... they had worked on for decades now dimensional shifting and compression.. flatspace technologies that increased substantially the spaace they could have in an object or location. FOr soldiers and jedi it was essential for equipment.. for ships aand vehicles it meant they could have essential equiopment only specialized ones or stations would normally have but the feat had been with the improved field kit which haad several such things for ships and vehicles you could wear on your hip as well as a portable medical center.. now they could maybe get a vehicle repair bay.

Junko was looking at the plan and the possibilities were well... the possibilities for their workers on ships was impressive enough... the implications for their soldiers who could carry entire mobile command stations and equipment on a belt well that would allow them to reduce the weight and massive undertakings for moving high amounts of troops. Logistical movements of the equipment were much easier if each soldier literally carried one and a back up that they would be able to use... or the pieces to it. THey could likely also set them up in specialized cases with each component being the areas of a forward operating base or designated area that would then be used.

"THis idea does present a whole new line of possibilities... the more we are able to utalize the compression technologies the more we can effectively bring to colonies or terraformed areas we have been working on. THe faster we could spread and begin seeing influences in regions. We have the medical modules for producing biot soldiers and workers already so we can have colonies full of workforces and protection for the people... imagine the possibility of a literal cityscape going up overnight... aided by biots and Atrisian commonwealth citizens.... Then within a couple of hours mining operations are going up and prepared for them."
