Dev Shadows of Atrisia

Junko got nods of agreement.. they were prepared to protect the planet and if the Drengir were going to come here or were here then they would regret it. There was a power and a danger that they would use to protect themselves. She would have to think of a number of different defensive measures that they might have to introduce... their seeds and samples could be just as dangerous but they had sensor data... that would help a little in terms of making impactful defensive measures. She was trying to think of what they might require in terms of logistical support and anti-drengir technologies that could be used to shield from the hive mind influence.

"We will use what we have recorded and sensor data to search the rregion and others around the planet.. if there is anything we will be able to find it but it will taake some time. A grid search from the site of the incident." They were already establishing aa distance from it.. they had wanted to save some of the villagers but there was no chance from the looks of it. Junko looked over the airships edge as they were passing the barricade and the droids were in place along with biots that had come in for them... the edge of her vision caught something moving in the trees and the jedi master pointed without alerting them. "The trreeline." She said it and her voice wouldn't be abel to be heard but scanners were going as motion trackers detected something.

Junko turned her attention to the treeline and she was moving with it leaping from the airship as they passed over and two guardians were following with their flight systems. Junko landed and was quickly moving off at a run as she allowed her senses to adjust and lock on she felt something there coming through the trees but stopped as she didn't need to activate her lightsaber when some one screamed out almost a blood curdling scream. "Who are you?" SHe said it and looked at the twi'lek who was therre. Her skin yellow gold and kimono muddied as she held her arms up to cover herself. She was looking at Junko with panic in her eyes.

"I am Alta." SHe said it and was sniveling, snot on her face and tears streaking the dirt that was caked. Junko shifted her presence going from alert and ready to motioning with her hand as the saber went back to her hip.. the guardians taking up position and protecting them as two more girls from the village came out in equally dirty attire they all looked to be teenagers or a little older but it was hard to tell as Junko motioned them over and seeker drones descended to stay close running scans on them as well as the area. "What happened? Why are you out here?" SHe said it and held a hand for the twi'lek allowing her to calm down and come close as there was five of them in total and all looked like they had gone through hell.

The girl and the others were huddled together as she seemed to be responding to Junko's attempts to calm her. "We were in the village but something attacked... it took our parents and we ran... then it was hunting us in the forests." Altaa said it as she was looking at Junko and they had been lured with a tale like that but scans were not showing anything unusual this time... she couldn't sense anything from her either that touched on whatever the Drengir brought to a force user... they needed something powerful but these teenagers were young and scared. It didn't seem the calm and upset like the one who had brought them here to the village had been.

"I see, we have been to the village there were no survivors it looked like." SHe said it and they were getting more scans and a tissue sample as she had the medical droid looking them over. THey would have to be in one of the quarantine areas and set around them. They were being seperaated and she continued to look at Alta as the girl spoke. "I took who I could save and we came into the woods... we have been in here hearing the screams and then all of the guns and droids." She said it and stood there holding herself as the medical droid was looking her over and Junko spoke. "It is going to be alright, we'll check you out and should be able to find a place for you."

Junko was being careful with them.. largely because the lure that had brought them here and been wanting to give the drengir a force user with influence over the minds to them was there... the other part was that she had learned a great deal about plants and sleeper agents so everything that could be a danger was being tested, the scans for any foreign matter that would have come from the drengir or anything they might have infected needed to be tested for and scanned. "Thank you." Alti said it as she and the rest of the teenagers were being cared for but JUnko just stood there with the towering guardians in their armor as they scanned the area.

"Anything?" She spoke calmly and didn't look back for the moment but her senses were trained on the teenagers when the one guaardian spoke. "No princess Ike, we have been monitoring the area aaround the barricades and it is as they said.. they ran and we can find signs if we backtrack of them through the woods and what they used for shelterr. This far away from the village it looks like they tried to stay close but out of the line of sights for whatever was in there." She nodded her head finally turning to look around. "Alright but be careful and keep the scanners on, we don't want to take chances on there being a trace of the drfengir."

JUnko was looking at more of what they had and they moved back towards the airship... bringing the teenagers and setting them up in different rooms to be monitored and given a chance for some rest as they were moving back in and towards their main military base. To ensure everything was taken care of and that she could give a full report to the commander who was overseeing the region. She wanted to know how this had happened and if there was any other incidents like this that was happening. The danger was real now and they would have to observe and report where the problems could be.

"Princess, the older one Alti is asking to see you." One of her handmaidens spoke as she stood there with Junko's captain of the guard andf the Onna-Bugeisha was prepared for anything with her blades and blaster prepared on her side. Junko nodded looking at her and moved so that they would be able to observe and protect her in the room... or at least feel useful... she was a jedi after all aand able to protect herself in most thing so this wouldn't be too much of a problem. THe doors opening to Alti as the jedi princess stood there seeing the twi'lek was cleaned now.. her pinkish red skin gleaming from the water that she had just gotten out of.

Alti looked up at Junko and bowed as she was securing the kimono aand spoke. "Princess sorry. I wasn't expecting you." SHe said it and Junko walked in to look upon her as she raised an eyebrow but she was more taking in what had been done... largely the dirty clothing had been taken away and she was seemingly enjoying the vine silk kimono... likely because it was made to be one fo the softest materials that could be felt and feather lightweight with Sasori and Atrisian standards. Whil;e still maintaining a high level of protection.. with improved upon looks though all of the colors it came in could also be designed to give different benefits with materials and the crystal stylings.

"It is alright. I wanted to check on you, you have been through a large ordeal and we have been wanting to make sure you are okay, physically and mentally." THey were still being scanned but so far there had been no drengir matter detected within or on them.. they appeared to be normal and alright if a little hungry and tired. Exhaustion was a big thing and a few of the younger children were asleep in their rooms with the drones watching them in case of there being anything. The clothing was burned, they had been cleaned with a hypersonic shower to break down any matter that might have been foreign and the cleaners used great for sensitive skin but also highly sterile in getting rid of anything.

Junko had told them to make sure they were scrubbed well and the ultrasonic shower would be able to handle more of that to better protect them. There was more going on though as Junko was trying to set things up for them.. she wanted to look out and see everything was fine but looking out the window of the airship they were over the waters heading back to her palace... the beauty was there and along the way well there was an isolated island they could control and use to quarantine the children and teenagers who had survived just in case. JUnko was able to see more as the silver citadel was in view and it looked beautiful for being well what it was.

THe airship touched near it... connecting the ramp to the medical centerr and it was designed much like the medical citadel on Coruscant.. the upper most areas connected and allowed the ships and progressively longer care treatments were the further down you went. There was a small port for it but they maintained it for airships as this was meant for the ultra wealthy lords and ladies originally but it could serve for anyone who needed it including fishing boats that were nearby and would be able to be directed here. There was a lot more on the ilsnad though as she could see ships and they were all heading out along the ramp that had extended.

She stood there as the sea air was around her.. the scent of the salt but also the smell of the medical facility. The open areas of the tower looking up towards her as they presented a platform. It got thicker the further down and she knew they were working on the structural area of the island to be able to weather storms and attacks.. she could see the hydrostatic shielding that was being installed around the island that would hold back the larger waves above the water but would allow the waters to flow around it. Letting it so small fish can pass through was also essential in all of the plans to create a safe place but not impact the ocean.

"SOmehow this is a beautiful and scenic location despite it being you know a hospital." Her handmaiden said it when she was looking at the ramp which shimmered with the shielding for the sides to protect and prevent falling but it would allow the air to pass through. Where she was being guided with the teenagers and smaller children they had recovered was to the different doctors who were following procedures to get everyone who had been exposed to the drengir to theirr own rooms. The medical pill droids were moving around and working scanners, doctors and healers from the Wukong here ensuring everythign ran smoothly when Junko went towards the suite that had been prepared for herself.

Junko was in the suite as the doors opened.. it wasn't grand it was simple with the bed and a fresher in the one room off to the side. A window and a screen to distract you... some reading material in holopads but it was mostly so that Junko would be able to work there and she would be able to sit down changing into he robe so she could be checked out fully now that they had all of the information from the scans of the drengir. The others were getting much the same treatment so that all of them JUnko stayed there as some of the nurses came in and she spoke with a grin on her face. "Hello ladies." It was natural and enjoyable.. she wanted to have a little humor in this serious situation.

She got smiles from them and stood there while they were running their tests with bloodwork and scans, temperature and blood pressure... all of it was becoming standard if she needed to work on it and the jedi master wanted to check out a few of the things they were working on. Junko sat there on the bed as they went to work and even tested her reflexes... each one working quickly and carefully when she spoke. "You know you could get me dinner first one or all of you." A smile got a few red cheeks from them but she doubted they had attended to royals before... there were advanced medical areas in the palaces and even more with all of the ships. Who would come all the way out herre.

Junko was just glad that with all of this... with everything they had going on she would be able to get. She was looking at more of it as well when the initial check up was done... a grin on her face though looking at the nurses and one of the candy strippers who was in there with them. JUnko changed into the clothing they gave her and laid on the bed just to wait while the screen was on. She was seeing news reports from around the galaxy a new queen mother who seemed to be opening Hapes up to men and outsiders... there was several governments rising up around the galaxy and the sith had fallen again.

She was able to see much more as several corporations changed hands as well the banking clan was getting larger somewhat still not as big as Sasori.. few things had that reach but there was also local atrisian news and they had things with corporations that they dealt with but most of them only seemed to do a few things on the planet wanting to expand offworld which was good. They could have their area on the Anshin and she knew the Galactic Alliance well mostly ignored them after so much interest... she imagined it was because the now defunct CIS was interested at the time so can't have otherss wanting to work with them.

Her viewing of the other governments across Atrisia thankfully gave her a few insights... they were isolated and wanted to remain such but they were not as ignorant as many seemed to think that meant.. they were not backwards as a people.. they had gone out... explored the galaxy and were still wanting more... but they didn't need to expand outwards aside from the current colonies for now... THey didn't need to make it an issue for now. INstead having the time and the want to really work on things for themselves which was evident by the terraforming of the worlds within the system. She could also check on those efforts from the bed she was confined to.

There was talks about and holos from Atrisia V, the terraforming and exploration efforts had revealed more ancient ruins which were being documented and the Chi-Oni who had when they came out rocked the foundations of Atrisia... somewhat were more then happy to be there. THey were impressive as it were and filled the people with a sense of pride that they had been around for billions of years... tens and hundreds of billion and had had one of the grandest civilizations in a time of grand ones... but like everything it shifted and one day it would be something to try and reclaim.. something for them to return to with work and effort and being prepared.

She could see the news report about the village itself now also appearing... the news that they would be meeting with the princess and getting an update while showing the barricade well was helpful. THe droids and soldiers who were there didn't hide it but they were also not letting them through to keep them from being endangered. One of the nurses was there with Junko and looking at it and then at her. "Terrible business that princess... I hope there wasn't people killed." She said it and Junko looked at her as she spoke. "Not in the way you would think, by the time we had gotten there the people themselves were already dead and their bodies violated by the drengir."

This seemed to play on the nurses face and JUnko nodded. "I'll explain in the press conference for the others but those children and teenagers we brought here are the survivors of the village." She said it and got a nod of understanding while her handmaidens were coming back in. She was clothed again in the patient gown so she looked different compared to the others but her saber was there should be somehow need it and she could feel the force here and all around her. "Princess we have made sure the coldren and Alti are taken care of and under guard just in case... we have been fielding reports from the emperor at least enough to let you rest for a moment but sent him all of the data."

Junko listened to them and she had been expecting the emperor or the empress to follow up with her... wanting news about what had happened. She hadn't told anyone to lie or hide that the village had been under attack by the drengir.. they were just waiting for the first hand report from Junko to clear things up and the media that they had who worked close enough to ask questions... it is an important thing after all. "I will respond to him soon." SHe said it and the nurse wasn't there as the handmaidens were around and she stretched sitting there in the bed with a nod of her head as she smiled. "In a moment... just chance to sit and relax with a medical excuse.

That merited a snicker but Junko wasn't being overtly serious.. she was more then happy to really answer any and all questions as she was thinking about it in her head. She had it composed and a number of things that would likely be asked about it... if there was anyway they would be able to save people? Were therre any survivors? Is there a danger of surviving Drengir? These were important questions that they would have to deal with and if she hadn't had a chance she would have worried about it... for now at least.. the jedi princess was thinking about it and it was an easierr thing.. she would have to compose herself before answering any questions.

Junko was taking a couple of hours... she set an alarm and the testing for her was going to be needed as she slept. The emperor had promised to have a press conference when Junko was awake as she and the others involved were at the medical center. It was pictured there in the glory it had.. sleek and silver standing tall on the island itself. They were for this.. after all the media existed on a world for Imperial control and idea of honor.. there was a lot done here and they didn't have to exist.. it could all be controlled by the royal family and the Commonwealth but they allowed a greater deal of freedom then many expected so respect that.

"Enjoy your rest princess and when you wake up we'll make sure we can take care of it." There was a small smile as the lights went out and the curtain was pulled. The room was somehow quiet and dark and relaxing with the smells of anti-spetic as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Her mind drifting off and instead of feeling the force or the root mind or being in her own visions she just slept. HEr body relaxing into the comfortable bedding with the blanket and as threadbare as it was still warm in the room itself. She allowed herself this and her breathing slowed, her tension gone before she relaxed into a deeper sleep with her handmaidens attending and making sure she got the chance to sleep but checking on her every couple of hours.

JUnko woke up, several hours had passed and it was dark outside the window as she rubbed at her eyes and had a small smile on her face. Everything that had been happening... she hadn't realized how tired she was... or at least she had thought it had been just a couple of hours... she hadn't realized how exhausted she was as she had the monitors on her and was asleep but it showed to her now. Three days of rest here in the hospital though she could see on the screen was being reported as unexpected and the emperor was concerned something had happened but doctors were reassuring that it was just exhaustion and fatigue from her efforts and traveling.

THey were going to the hospital though to make sure that Junko was okay but all of the doctors and even showing her vital signs were strong... it was a testament to whatever this thing was that made her special they said.. it was proof of the resolve of the royal family and well the lightside of the force which was an important tool in their harrowing need to well show strength. There was a great deal more coming to all of the Atrisians though as news of the different worlds opening up came... terraforming efforts spearheaded by Junko were on the uptake and several moons had been improved... a new Csilla for Chiss refugees who were on the border of the system but it served them well.

She was thinking about a few things as the different worlds were being talked about and the large scale improvements that were being brought to them. They could and had offered many Corellians refuge on a world... if they could entice them to want to come and have some of the best engineers in the galaxy on their side it could vastly improve many of the Commonwealths engineering feats.. they had a massive amount of headway though as they were pushing forward with it all.. they were achieving a great deal though in terrms of the diversity of Atrisian functions.. advanced engineers from across the galaxy... advanced colonization efforts and what would hopefully be treaties and accords of mutual interest.

The jedi master though knew what she needed to do and was rising up prepared for it.. she got changed into a kimono and stood there looking at herself in the mirror for a moment as she debated what she was going to say to explain this.. granted she didn't have to explain it.. there was a lot of information released already but no one had come forward and spoke directly about what had happened.. they had just been waiting for her and she was already late. There was one of her handmaidens who was behind her doing her hair as she had clothing ready and got dressed. She was walking down the hallway and went through one of the doors as her Yovshin were set up on either side and some fo the rpess were there.

Junko could see the people who were around here... many of the different press people that had been at the opening and some others... friends, family and even the emperor and empress were here as she stepped forward and offered smiles. "Hello." Her voice came out and the princess was not holding back in her expression more she was waiting for the volume to subside so that she could continue to speak and wouldn't have to speak over aanyone. "Sorry for the delay... I came here to be checked out but it seems our services of care here is so good it let me check out for a handful of days." A joke... try and get them with a joke that was the way to do it.

She got some chuckles but presisted in her endeavor looking at them. "Four days ago while I was at the opening of the grand library of Atrisia a villager came to me. Frrom outside the walls and asked for help... her village was under attack by something and people were in danger. I along with a small contingent of my guards and entourage headed out.. we made it to the village where we enacted quarantine protocol to protect it and the people around the area as we fought drengir creatures. We didn't know these creatures were here... their records indicate they can sleep for thousands of years and awaken when their root mind does fully functional."

There were some gasps and surrprise but they had been briefed over the days about what had happened... they had been able to tell the people what they knew and what had been known.. Junko was mostly here to explain and she was doing that. "In our efforts to contain them however we discovered the fate of most of the villagers... they were desiccated and fed upon by the drengir in a cave... you have been presented with the scanner data and they were dead with no chance of survival should we manage to release them. To protect the people we enacted a plasma burn of the local area within the barricades and kept ourself in a shielded location. Once it was done we started to cool."

Junko was looking at more of it and at them as she presented herself to theirr questions answering on the floor for the moment but they had all of the data and the information for the past couple of days and had managed to run with it without going wild in terms of information dispersion... if anything she was glad they didn't have crazy and out there theories but were coming here for the information. "Princess you said mostly all of the villagers were dead... does that mean there were survivors?" SHe said it and Junko turned with her attention as she gave a nod of ehr head. "Yes... we discovered a group who had fled the village and been trying to survive on a few scraps of food and some water. THey are recovering here as well."

There was some sounds and more questions... about the survivors and Junko went into some details but didn't reveal names or ages... just that they were children and they werre being checked out to ensure that one they were alive and not some husk that was infested with drengir spores or something that they would use to survive. The second was that they needed to find family for them or a place where they would be able to be sent and safe.. they weren't going to be revealed unless it had to be done or the threat of the drengir was a real danger. Thaat seemed to satisfy the reporters for the moment and JUnko nodded answering more questions.

THe next few hours consisted of questions and answers about what they were doing, plans to rebuild the village when it cooled from the heavy plasma glassing and the area around it. After they made sure everythign was clear and there were no Drengir remains... they would be looking into it for villagers to resettle. Then there would be scanning and searching this world and the others in the Commonwealth with the new scan daata they had to try and make sure there was no more incidents such as this. Junko was looking at more ideas they had and tried to settle a few of the questions about other discoveries and some rumors about herself.... and various people.

"Princess what about the rumors of Rei-Izu's rediscovery... we have reports from the temple that they have been encountering force spirits." THere was a moment and JUnko had seen those reports.. not one to dismiss them but she also wasn't going to be know everything.. she hadn't been to the temple that they had rediscovered and it was something... ancient. All reports showed ancient jedi if not force users but the texts there were different and presented the force in a way few others understood.. it was interesting to her at the very least and all of them should be able to really take it in. The kyber mirror though she had seen and it had been massive.

"I cann't speak on all of that but we have sent Wukong investigators to the planet and they will report back... we have known since the Chi-Oni reappeared and shared everything we could learn about Ancient Atrisians and our past so the ruins shouldn't be a surprise... that they might have interacted with or been an ancient sect of force users just shows how evolved and substantial our people were to the galactic influence." That got nods as another one spoke. "What about the rumors that Prince Shoma has been replaced as senator of Atrisia?" THat Junko had heard about and lookin into it... no one knew who this new Atrisian senator was... they were just there and she spoke.
