Dev Shadows of Atrisia

[Junko Ike]

Junko was waiting until they were both ready to move giving them fresh water and the bindings properly sealed. ONce they were ready though she had them hold the rescue can as the saber sliced into the rock and she was using the holographic display to get a better idea with the locator beacons. The cutting took the most time and they needed to stop only to reorient in the dark a couple of time before they were at the last bit of stone and she sliced into it letting water super cool the heated stone and start pouring through. "Alright, hold on tight." JUnko cut more and the water started to rush as it felt cold for a moment and then it was submerging them.

The rebreathers they wore shimmering on their faces for the moment and allowing them to breathe like gills in the water while filtering any toxins in the rock that might be there. THey were moving quickly once they had a large enough gap and Junko lead the way for the three of them until they were near the locator beacon and one of the rescue droids was meeting them to pull them towards the surface. The experience overall showing the mixture of skills and technologies they had developed but once the droid had them out it would be a whole lot of other things that they needed to handle and talk about.

JUnko though was rather energized after that... everything that had happened was dangerous yes... it was stranger still yes but she was also one to not look a gift in the mouth...she was out of the palace even if it was hers with a chance to do some good.. that was more important then the shuffle of charts and graphs... but they did serve a purpose. "And that is how you have some fun." SHe stood up tall and said it to herself looking at the survivors and offered them smiles to reassure them as they were thanking her and the droids. A few of the lifeguards there on duty were also around and going over the situation as Junko returned the rescue ca. "Thank you, there might be a chance to see about improving it... we'll get some engineers on it for the field."

She got nods and thanks for that... if there was a chance after all and asking about their other equipment which was always in need of an overhaul... or at least some improvement. She looked at it and the wooden towers had minimal metals framework.. they could redesign those like the living modules in a rill frame.. they could improve the boats they used from water to repulsor to allow travel on land and sea... they could get some improved design on the rescue cans for equipment being built in... there was even a chance for better improvements to their uniforms as well. SHe was looking at some of them and they were all athletic at least as she walked. "I think we can work on all of these improvements... Lieutenant."

"It is captain princess.... captain Carter." The woman said it and stood there tall and puffed out her chest a little with a nod of her head. She wasn't purely Atrisian with some features that looked more zeltron like the rosy skin and crimson red hair. Carter was seemingly proud and the jedi master was more then glad to help her with it. Junko was glad to see that she was proud and more then that the others seemed to respect her as they started to walk and going back to the headquarters as the princess walked along the beach. "Well then we'll talk while you escort me captain yes... give a chance to dry off."

There were grins and Junko walked with her owning what she said... it came out possibly the wrong way and got some raised eyebrows but she was walking with the captain while the crowds seemed to be dispersing after all of the excitement. The white sandy beaches.. the clear blue waters and everything that they had presented a scene and Junko's aurodium suit with its jewels glistened showing her lightly golden pale skin. She was presented from the captain some oil that would protect from the harmful sun as she spread it. "Thank you captain." Junko spread it slowly enough while they walked and she looked out at the waters.

The walk back to their headquarters was quick enough... the sand beaches were getting back to normal now that the excitement had mostly died down and the people who were around them smiled and greeted the princess while Carter spoke with everyone. Leading up the ramp they had that went directly off of the beach to over see and she could see stretched down the length towers for the life guards... each tower was older but they could work to improve upon them. Carter had said or one of them had said that they always needed newer equipment to ensure they could mount a rescue at times and there was of course beach care.

"We are here, welcome to our headquarters princess Junko, there isn't much some tea and cafe or anything really to drink and some food from this morning... we try to not leave it out for too long." SHe said it and got a couple of chuckles at that before they were heading off to check on more guard but Junko could see her entourage arriving.. most of them in suits and armor before she checked out a couple of the areas. Junko was glad though as she sat on one of the towel covered couches for drying off and spread her arms out seeing a couple of the lifeguards milling around but they had a beautiful view of the beach and the millions of people that stretched across it.

"I am surprised at how many come here... you guys are... you guys are more impressive then some think." She said it and turned to look as Carter had entered the room with a smile on the woman's face. "Thank you princess and we try, there is always going to be more people then us but we can always get aid with things like the droids and biots to watch and patrol the beaches where we can't. We have rookie school open and ready for these situations and despite some thinking all we do it flirt with men and women all day while working on our tan we have been seeing other improvements." Carter though stretched out as she stood there at the window.

"It also helps that well we have such an inspirational leader who has been helping the people... everything you have given us and gotten us so far has been a vast improvement over what we had. The beach itself has the smaller shops that are thriving and so much in terms of food and drinks thjat people can get without alcoholic drinks being sold... I know many of our guards are happy to emulate you even if it does mean they rely more on the droids which we are trying to fix. Some seem to just want to have a gaggle of females in bikini's around them." Junko snickered at that... with a grin appearing on her face as she walked and sat down.

"A harem... a group of females around one person is called a harem." Junko said it with a look on her face though getting a look from Carter who was glad to work with her and give some ideas for the two of them. Carter though was taking it in good humor and seemed to have brought snacks... cause there was no need for heavy foods here... some sandwiches, some juice for their bodies. That was all that was needed as her words came out. "Well then, I guess many of the girls here can be counted among such a harem for you... you are very popular for all of the work that you have been doing princess Junko."

That was a little bolstering to her ego but she had no need for more handmaidens... she rarely brought the ones she had around with her leaving many of them at the palace so.. she would just have to settle for a beach bunny... bouncing up and down in her swimsuit. The jedi princess thought about it and. "Well I love the sound of being popular and while yes I should be humble but there is always a nice thing to be heard when people like to be around you." She offered a smile and some of the younger recruits notable by their black uniforms... were standing and looking in as she motioned and two of them slipped in next to her.

"Hello ladies." JUnko said it wiggling her eyebrows with a grin on her face. "So how are you doing?" She said it with more of a bass to her voice as a joke and got grins and smiles from them. THey seemed to be liking it and Carter was there looking at her as the princess held a raised eyebrow staying on the couch for a moment. Carter was laughing though and seemed more amused at the situation. "Well that is not what I was expecting... the rumors I guess are true about your shall we say skill or appetites." That got Junko's attention when she paused for a moment. "Well after any workout and swimming in those tunnels was what a good one... I can see why you are all so fit."

Junko took a moment to look at the two who were sitting with her and the left one she hadn't gotten the name but she was dusky skinned with it gleaming from the iols she used. THe fairest hints of mint was there mixing with the sea salted water. The dark hair was drying but you could see near the roots that it had been wet and shewas vapid enough that she was more nuzzliung Junkos with her chocolate colored eyes closed just pressing herself closer to her body. THe other on Junko's arm was pale skinned with the barest tan og gold sheen on her body and dark hair... but she was intermingling her fingers with the firsts over JUnko's stomach as they smiled to each other with the princess in the middle.

"And I can see that you don't waste words or time... I'll leave you alone for what an hour... two?" She said it and JUnko looked at the two of them and then at Carter... "Well with your five or so... a long lunch." She said it with a wink before Carter seemed to laugh and the blinds were closed, the doors locked... water set out for hydration and the air put on to cool the room that was running hotter. Several hours later after receiving a message there was no need to disturb them and that the princess would be explaining a few things as the official statement Cater walked out of the room and clocked out from her shift with the other two supporting each other to try and go.

Junko stretched out as she was in the office and readjusted her top while she was walking out and there were smiles while she skipped.. she hadn't realized how much fun it could be to just let loose and welcome whatever came. She went outside and a few others had remained wanting to try and ask questions but mostly everyone had gone home. Carter was there and supporting herself on the railing as Junko smiled. "Captain that was lovely... thank you and your crew are quite talented." The princess said it with a smile on her face. "THank you princess and I can't believe you can still walk.. I am going to be sore all over."

"That is because while you guys have the skills to rescue people... I spent my time being able to go for hours and hours.... also lots of practice as you said." Junko said it while looking at her and was more then happy to admit to it.. she wasn't ashamed or embarrassed by the rumors... she embraced it along with many other things. "Though those two were something else... I can see why you keep them around." That seemed to get a look. "I wouldn't normally allow such a thing but indulging a princess is rarely something you get to do and they seemed to be enthralled with the concept of you just being there." Junko laughed at that to herself... "Yes I do often seem to have that effect on people."

That got more laughs and Junko was heading back now... she was relaxed but one of the pair was running after her and seemed to want to come with her... her dark skin gleaming from new oils she had used to clean up and Junko almost rolled her eyes but she brouight her arm out and let her run closer and hold herself closer to the princess. "Oh come on... you are like a sad big boobed puppy." That got a smile though and the girl seemed to be going to say something as Junko just held her close and they were coming upon the building on the beach... white stone marble on the waterfront and handmaidens as well as some others.

The rest of the building was big and beautiful.. the trees naturally occurring on Atrisia but some had been imported from across the galaxy from places like Spira and Vandaxia... exotic waterworlds that were tropical. There was much more to it as the workers here embraced that they were on the beach. Grass skirts, flowers ion their hair and shell bikini's that they would be be able to look more exotic. The high end place served a purpose and it did attract tourists but also vacationers from the interior fo the continent... they had worked on many more things here as the airship was set up on the roof. JUnko's private and royal one next to their own for tours of the ocean.

The interior was just as beautiful with a crystasteel floor layer that was over a massive aquarium filled with fish and coral... it looked like one was walking on the ocean. Junko could see some of the fish they had which were in a dozen different colors swimming around and in abundance along with the smell of tropical fruits from the trees that were ripe and able to be plucked... small droids were there maintaining them and gathering... cleaning and making it so literally anyone could pick and eat them right there as guests or in this case her people were all setting things up. Several handmaidens having gathered smaller fruits that were good and having them in bowls.

She still had the lifeguard with her and. "So ah I never really got your name?" She said it and looked at her getting a grin and smile as she could see the heat in the girls cheeks. "Ah my name princess is Uzaki." She bowed her head and she was smaller then Junko.... stacked but smaller and in the swimsuit. Given the requirements for the watch on the beach she had to be a year or two younger then JUnko but she looked smaller which made Junko feel better... she was rarely the tall one in anything that was happening. The bowls of fruits though were laid out and she took a few finding a place to sit down and look over the information.

"So did anything happen while I was busy?" SOmething also seemed to happening but it wasn't always much... usually just a drop in the bucket. "No not much, there have been a new thing as some declared themselves the Hebo region of Atrisia but they seem to be a small group with their own school... only thing significant is they want to claim their are the ones who created the yovshin. It matters little aside from a few people but we are not seeing much else in the area and the emperor has dispatched to the surrounding villages to make sure they are alright and safe delusional thinking like this is how mythos continued to be on the world."

The talk well was much the same... they always had to deal with the history fo the world and what had happened... uisually a ond sided conflictr where they were steamrolled and suddenly the world reverted to a state of being dependant upon another group in the galaxy. The Galactic Alliance did much the same as the CIS... they had seemed all interested in making Atrisia into this grand place and then quickly once they had it left and didn't bring much. Shoma seemed more involved in keeping them here then anything else. He seemed to to have ideas though and tried to have Atrisia's interest at heart even if he limited what they did or could do.

"It will be fine, we will endure like always.. the world will change and evolve and we will maintain ourselves even while the galaxy wanes and interest in us comes back around." It was practiced it was the usual.. it was what they told each other and the people because it was true. That there was another group trying to be on the planet and do what they wanted mattered little as it just reaffirmed why this place was one of the best... that they wanted to present themselves as this technophobic and ultra traditional while the others sweated and laid down the effort only meant they would also not benefit from all of the technological improvements the world had.

Uzaki though drew her attention back as she seemed to be enjoying it and the sight of so much food might have been a surprise as not everyone had all of the fruits and veggies, all of the sweets, meats and different drinks like she did. With a galaxy of food to fabricate and her knowledge of it well she didn't know many Atrisians who had the knowledge to match.. so exotic foods were a given as Junko nodded for her to be able to eat and she took a small pleasure in her surprise eating some of the fruits which got a small squeal of delight. Junko took a bite and it was sweet and ripe and delicious for her as well as she spoke. "So Uzaki tell me about yourself."

It was being done a little in reverse but better late then never she could suppose. While she had had much time with Carter and the other girl... well they were distracted with other things and the heat of the moment after rescuing the people they needed to unwind... vigeriously unwind.... there might have been some preying to gods of Atrisia if she could remember the moment better. "Well I was born in Xam'chi before the wars and when they came I was in the bunkers with many of the others... I looked after the children and was trained to protect them so when I got out the chance to help protect was something I wanted to do and the beach seemed like a place I always enjoyed."

JUnko listened and the idea was well noble in a way... the beach was just as important as anyplace and she could see many of the things that might be there. "Well you are doing something good, not everyone has to be a war hero or run around the galaxy swinging a lightsaber." JUnko said it and it seemed to make the girl beam with a sense of pride. Uzaki was taking a moment though while she ate and offered just smiles at the food she was eating while Junko took a bite of the kabob with its small stick designed from a flavored needle with skewered meats and veggies. She took several bites for herself and had tea that was there.

"Hmm delicious here try some." The meat itself was cooked in its own juices in the bag... it was designed to be eaten though and made for the best as the needle that it was on she bit into and it was sweet after some of the salt but it could also be refreshing with a small wave over her tongue and mouth of cleaning flavoring.... washing the palate as it were so one would be better able to eat a bunch of food as it also settled the stomach and made it so acids wouldn't come back up or upset them. She was preferring it though as they continued to eat with the others here on the airship and it was taking off. Uzaki had a chance to go with them and she seemed to not mind.

"So do you want to stay with us or would you like us to drop you off somewhere?" Junko said it and was looking at the girl getting a small blush and look as she seemed to be thinking about it. "Ah well, if it is alright... I would kind of like to stay... my family is great but a smallish house with a big family... no personal space." She said it and Junko understood the sentiment to it all.. she wasn't going to be opposed to someone coming with them and Uzaki was rather fun and talented and there was no way she was going to get others to not think she was building up some weird harem but all of her handmaidens served a purpose she swore.

"Well I will be happy to have you, as manyof my handmaidens know serving me is important but it shouldn't mean you give up everything so talk with me or spend time away if you need to. THis isn't an easy decision." Junko offered a smile and Tripitaka was one such going back home to the north to see her father and visit with him while the personal royal guard escorted her... it wasn't often what was essentially another princess came and became a handmaiden to another princess... but Junko had the otherworldly charm to it. Junko stretched out on a couch though as she said it and relaxed in her swimsuit which her handmaidens were bringing her a kimono.

Her normal kimono was there and JUnko slipped out and into it quickly enough not pausing but also not making a show of it as there was no reason... few hadn't seen her without clothing and she wasn't one to shy from it. She stood there though and the purple kimono looked beautiful as the sun was setting which got a nod of her head. The airship was setting course and she had a small balcony there in her room so she could look out at the sprawling landscape of Atrisia. With the sun setting it cast all of it in a golden light where they would be able to look out at parts of it... she could see farms and homes that were not in the city walls but they were receiving construction endeavors.

THey were getting walls... not as intricate but the roadways and walls were a part of the defensive nature of Atrisia... they were preserving the planet by streamlining travel and eliminating pollution with the use of airships or smart technologies for carts and vehicles. Where they were checking on more of it were the smaller villages that were encircled by kazue stone walls and given some fo the best equipment to droids that can help them and AI for planning the harvest. There was also the new Ohashi AI that was being used to optimize selling points for everyone so that the best valaue was given to the goods and strengthened the economic standing of the world.

"Oh I have never been in an airship." She said it and was on the balcony looking over the edge at everything. The land stretched below them and Junko was happy to see it... the construction efforts of the roads was there... the droids working tirelessly but they were checking out the checkpoints... not for the people but for the droids. They would go in and stay ready in case there is anything that happens. Repair droids as a set up and the roads are meant to be shielded from environmental effects or as tunnels that will allow nature to overtake it from around and the world would regrow itself... in some places it was being done naturally and in some they were replanting trees and plants.

The lakes were there and they wrapped the roads around them for something scenic... they set it up to be stronger in other areas where it would intersect from different villages and with the walls around the towns, villages and cities it created a massive network that would remain advanced... while the world around them became primeval again... the smart technologies in the road and sensors would keep track of everything and they were working on the AI's that would be set up. THe planet was massive and so while the human element was being used and controlled they were using everything at their disposal.

"This is all so beautiful." Junko looked at Uzaki who was there and seemed excited... might have been the first timeshe was in an airship or traveling really far... the country side that they were working on preserving was rarely seen by the people... it was great but with things having been how they were with constant attacks and wars to restore Atrisia... well they encountered problems encouraging travel and things like camping or hunting trips. A nature preserve on the planet though did sound like it would be an idea... get creatures from around the world and around the galaxy so that anyone could see them.... she would have to work on it and make an advanced zoo.

"It is, and it is what we seek to preserve with many of our endeavors... the beach is also one of them and why you won't see massive hotels or houses... only a few with the mountains and parks where others can come." She offered a grin as Uzaki nodded what seemed to be her approval cause why not it meant she would as a lifeguard not have to worry about all of the dangerous things and excessive amounts of people... since mostly they were already outnumbered no reason to make their task next to impossible without droids or more saturating the beaches. Junko had a few other ideas of how they could improve upon and preserve parts of Atrisia.

THey were heading in now towards the interior city and it wasn't walled yet.. they were building one of the great walls that would surround it but this village was seen as something unique to many. It was where many of the men had been killed... her own experience with it showed in her elite personal guard who had been the wives and mothers of her soldiers before... they had survived getting the time to escape and become her bodyguards on Shri-Tal but also stayed as an elite unit. The village from all reports had lost most of its men from them being pressed into service for mythos and sent to die on other worlds leaving grieving mothers, wives and daughters.

"Oh so where are we going princess?" She said it as Uzaki smile beaming practically with anticipation for their traveling. She was excited and it rubbed off on Junko who was going with her in it as she nodded. "We are heading to the village of Manu Hanchou. THey have been small and struck with tragedy but it seems to be recovering heavily now and is going forward with many of its old festivals." Junko shrugged as there was a chance they might discover one or two other things and she was all for the guidance of the force... letting it lead her around Atrisia to solve problems and learn from the people as well as her own direction like this that directed her based on invitations.

Junko mentally stretched as they were coming into an area near the wall of the villages and the airship was connecting with it... her attention on all parts of it so she could check it out. "This is going to be an interesting place... there is not a lot of information but the village has a reputation for its women... and more then that for its fighters." The jedi princess was checking out parts of it as she went forward towards the ramp that would allow her and her handmaidens to enter the village.The women here near the wall were armored in sky blue armor... crescent blades in their hands and jar'kai blades at their sides... while she could sense and see in the towers on the wall more modern weapons that they had given them like blasters and sniper rifles.

"Welcome Princess Junko." The voice came out deep but sweet in many ways as Junko looked at the owner of it and the muscular woman stood in robed armor. Her swords were across her back and she had long hair... the crimson kimono was striking among the sea of blues and greens of the different soldiers and JUnko noticed two things more.... One each of the women were buxom and two they were tall.. not amazon tall but they were larger then most... almost like they were part horse lord which she might have to look into but they had been known to migrate in ancient times and get across the world in surprising areas.
