Description: An extremely simple design. The AVCAR is a simple hollowed out bullet which has been filled in with a gel like paste mixed with a high concentration of pollen from the Gafforr tree. Upon impact with Vonduun Crab Armor, the round disintegrates splashing the sticking pollen/drug infused gel all over the armor. The crab begins to have an immediate massive allergic reaction resulting in swelling and eventual death for both the armor and the wearer of the armor. Allergic reaction times vary from armor to armor of course. But the more rounds hit the armor, the quicker the reaction and subsequent death of both the crab and the wearer. A round impacting the weak gill point by the armpits of the wearer will also result in a much faster allergic reaction. A single round will kill the crab and its host eventually, but 2 - 4 rounds will ensure the reaction happens within a matter of minutes. 5 rounds + will result in the armor reacting almost instantly to within 30 seconds. A single round in the gill section will also result in a near instant allergic reaction.
The way the bullet is able to still affect this type of armor even despite the new immunity boost they have received thanks to Bafforka Bore Worms, is the Glucocorticoids based immunosupressant drugs present in the absortion gel. As the material gets absorbed into the armor the drugs supress the crabs immune system, thus allowing the allergic properties of the pollen to once again have an effect against even upgraded crab armor.
While this round is incredibly effective against Vonduun Crab Armor. It is all but useless against anyone wearing anything stronger than light armor, outside of the simple ballistic effect. But even this is limited due to the fact the bullet is designed to crumble so it can splatter the pollen infused gel all over the target.
