Strengths:

DESCRIPTION
Created to give the Silver Shadows an edge when working in the field, the Shadow matrix provides much needed holodiguises to aid them on missions. Agents are able to quickly choose from five species, and customize them to meet their needs. Additional species images can be uploaded by the agent, but this process does take time. The high quality images projected to not have a tell-tale flicker to give them away, unless the unit becomes damaged. In addition to the projector, the Shadow Matrix gives the user additional assistance with creating their persona – including a speech scrambler, translator, and bio-sign generator. Keeping stealth in mind, the unit is placed on a sound dampening belt that greatly reduces sound emitted by the user and offers some protection against sonic damage.

The Shadow Matrix is still vulnerable to physical and kinetic damage, and EMP attacks will cause the unit to shut down, and any holo-disguise will fail. The Shadow Matrix has exceptional battery life, but long periods of extended use will require that the unit is re-charged.
