Description:
These little droids are little more than a camera droid with a few attachments. Each droid is identical to each other for a default form and can be distinguished from its external attachments. The SGT is not a combat droid but is built for monitoring and scouting. It can be equipped with three different out variants. Equipped with a minimal artificial intelligence; the SGT is able to be given vocal commands or controlled by a terminal.
Built to be effective but disposable these droids were meant to be deployed as exploratory eyes to map nearby areas around landed exploration ships. These droids would transmit landscape and wildlife details while unimpeded by the terrain with its repulsorlifts. Some of these droids are equipped with a sample collection arm and a storage cylinder to retrieve small specimens and scrapings.
The other two variants were the Security and military load out. The security models load out a needle gun and a siren whereas the military models were installed with an external blaster.
Strengths
Size: the small size of the SGT makes it a difficult target to hit.
Weaknesses
One shot-one kill: A single shot from a blaster or Ion blast (even a pistol) will generally destroy the unit. With no armor and such a small size and simple construction this droid is effectively disposable.
Small batteries: This droid system can only be active for a period of 24 hours before needing to return to a port
