BIOGRAPHY​

Firstborn from Michael Barran and Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt , Severus was raised (from Day-1) to inherit a grand, prestigious legacy, and even in the realm's darkest days, having parents such as his would teach the boy much in the way of patience, and Defiant poise. On the patrilineal side, the boy would grow to learn of a stolid calm, and inner-strength that was passed down through the generations, though it seems that this is the extent of that permeation, besides the strong resemblance to the Barrans who precede him. Though as for the matrilineal aspect of the Young Lion, much of his mother's history with Dantooine would become, not only visibly, but audibly apparent as well, but unlike the parents of previous generations, both parents would take active roles in the boy's sword-duelling lessons throughout his youth.

In all his time spent under the watchful eye of his parents, the Young Lion had been trained in matters of Songsteel and Kyber alike, and with his younger brother, Anthemious, as his sparring-partner, the next Barrans would continue a family tradition in becoming strong through each other's countering efforts. However, whilst the family were preparing their boys for conflict of single-combative nature, mass-mobilization would be amassing to test them by means for which the family should have prepared. Yet despite the great odds Dantooine would face against the weight of a remnant attack, Lyra's power would assure their survival, and fortunately for Severus and Anthemious alike, their mother would have no trouble assuring her own survival in the ordeal.

As for what befell that greedy Imperial remnant after that, only the Diarchy's arrival could shift their stubborn presence, but without access to any of the new player's intel, the escaping mother and sons could only guess that their sudden-arriving enemies met with a harsh, hopeless demise. A fate far-removed from that of their intended targets, as all three surviving family members would split up to prolong that effort, all ordained by the parental element; Lyra knew that both Severus and Anthemious alike were ready, thus split off from boys who had finally become men. The Great Dowager would disappear without stating an intended direction, but as for her sons, one would make for Terraris, and the elder - Nirauan.

With Anthemious partying away his exile, and with their parents fully-devoted to saving the future, it has fallen to Severus to become the saviour he was born to be, though fortunately at his own, deliberate pace. Giving way to long hours spent stock-trading through the night, eyeing his Holonet terminal whilst reading through his usual slew of historical archives, and tenfold more than he has before, there seems to be a purpose to it all. However, just months before his 27th birthday, it would seem that the Young Lion persists in keeping his own counsel, secluded from all but his chosen inner-circle, though soon - this quiet routine will become the loudest of actions.
