Setting up a Defense

Samantha sat in the archives, her hands sorting through the holovids of the many wars the Sith had fought and most importantly the section on Prakith. There was something odd about the traitor accusations against her creator Alexandra Feanor and now she would show just how wrong the accusations were by letting the one who called for this know. She was first informed of this by her partner [member="Darth Arcanix"] who had let her into the records and now helped her search through them, allowing for the two to be able to find the proof that Alexandra was no traitor and it was the other one that had started the fight.

Taeli sighed as she shifted through the archives, usually a very enjoyable task for her. Today though, it was anything but. She hated having her hand forced they way it had been, and wanted to show how idiotic the whole thing had become. Pulling up another screen, she closed it immediately when she saw it wasn't the part of the Prakith battle they needed. If they could prove Alex had been the one attacked by Adekos and Warok, and not the other way around, it would blow apart a major part of the argument against her that could lead to her execution.

"We need to hurry, the trial is going to be starting soon," she mumbled, pulling up another data entry. "Promising, as it does show part of the spaceport battle, but we need that specific hanger bay."

"Have some faith Taeli, i brought Eve with us, shes directing us anything that might pertain to this, two minds and an AI should be able to find it. She also has numerous videos of Akexandra's helping the Sith as well as the records that involve the true traitors of the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord is being blinded by the lies of his people, and that is by definition blinding those like Reverence. When we expose the lies of those involved it will not be Alexandra that will be called traitor. I fear though she will not be able to leave Sith space though, which to her probably isn't that much of a danger as she will just do what she always does and thats garden and teach..." She continued searching through the videos that were filter towards her as well as marking certain files sent to her detailing the actions of sith inside the One Sith who had actually committed infractions. Including that of Darth Ferus who Alexandra personally requested be pulled up, due to his strong hate for the sith for almost a solid year before only rejoining once he lost his apprentice to the sith.

"Yes well, time is not on our side," Taeli muttered, looking over a video of Veles leaving and sighing before logging it away. Pulling up another, but not looking at it yet, she continued saying, "Lies and deceit are normal things for Sith, and sometimes it just gets so wearing. I don't really care if traitors are allowed back in or not, but I really want to stick it to those trying to manipulate us."

Looking at the next video that Eve had sent, Taeli smiled as she could hear Alex's voice, but it was a camera that might be outside the hanger they needed.

"Close, very close, Eve found a camera feed from outside the right hanger bay, we should have that feed soon then," she said, bookmarking that vid. "Reverance and the other Voices don are being played, I'm almost certain of it, by Titan. But we have no proof to present on that, they keep their records sealed and stored away elsewhere."

"So expose him..." Samantha started as she found a file of Darth Ferus fighting against the Sith. "Look, you are close to a Voice, call for a investigation of Titan thoroughly and set up watch on the actions of the company. You need simply be ready to do as needed and expose the lies to the Dark Lord. I understand that lies are the way of the Sith, but that is the way of the Sith empire, the One Sith are united under the orders of the Dark Lord and the actions of Daella Apparine proved much to the effect that true traitors can reach the highest of ranks. Bring this information to Praelior, Silara, and Isolda, and they will see the truth in the information... sending you the file detailing the creation of the Nightmare Child now. Oh and im sending you records of Alexandra's funds and resources. That should detail that she never once supplied the enemies of the Empire and even used Krayt ships instead of others thus funding the Sith." Her hands started working in sending those files to Taeli who sat nearby.

"It's not that simple to expose Titan," Taeli said, receiving the files. "I might be connected, but so is Serin, and he supplies most of the products that fuel the Sith war machine. I would need proof, and a plan, to even attempt an official investigation. The man is extremely clever about what he does, and I doubt an investigation would turn up anything except painting a target on my head for crying wolf."

"It needs to be covert, something more . . . cunning than an official investigation. Something he couldn't see coming . . . I have to think on that for now, but I'm certainly going to be devoting plenty of my time towards that goal. He crossed a line when he thought he could play with Sith Lords and Ladies."

Looking over another video, she dismissed it and asked for Eve to lock it from the archives as it showed a lesson between Melori and Veles. "This is getting out of hand, and I don't want to implicate myself in association with Veles or Ferus."

"Ill keep that in mind if i find anything pertaining to them. And we have more than just one avenue of use. Back when things needed to be handled off the books she would hire out to people of unsavory means. Usually bounty hunters to deal with rogue elements and such, i can give you the contact information of one she frequently used and that should be able to give you the steps from there..." She said this in a lowered voice, making sure that if any devices were watching them now their voices would not be picked up as she smiled and archived a file. "Found one on them dropping down into a forest... how did they even get to the hanger... odd."

"That is odd, the spaceport was double shielded and the only forest is near the citadel," Taeli said, scratching her head. "I don't know, maybe a secret passage or something. Prakith is that old after all, but regardless . . . I think . . . I've got it!"

She pulled up the video file from inside the hanger bay finally, displaying it on the small holo-projector near them.

"Let's see there's Warok, Valtryx, and Adekos . . . and hmm, did they . . . attack Alex and her fox-friend first?"

Samantha stood and walked over, watching each as she stared at this and primarily on Alexandra herself as she was the one put into question, thoroughly watching them for a few moments before nodding. "Yes... Eve, get me video from the camera over there by the entrance of the hanger, we could possibly pick up some audio from it, this one is simply a video reference. Though if you watch Arcanix the Ewok, Warok was its name right? Initiated the first action and then Adekos joined into this without so much as trying to deter either side from fighting so that he and the Ewok could focus on the actual enemy. Meanwhile if you watch this..." She motioned to the fighting between Valtryx. "She made first move with quite obviously murderous intent, and Alexandra remains on the defense for a while, trying to talk though what they are saying i dont know. It appears though Alex did not want to fight which means at this time it is possible that these three are responsible for the battle and not Alex and her friends... let see. Eve, where is that file i asked for..."

"Right, you have enough to go on I think," Taeli said, getting up and rubbing her temples. "Eve, make sure no one can find any evidence I was accessing any of this. Samantha, I would suggest hurrying up before someone walks in and sees what you are up to. That's all the help I can offer her, I have to keep myself clear of this for now."

Moving away from the terminal, she made sure to wipe down any fingerprints of hers that might be in the room that were recent, and left Samantha to find the audio files. She knew between Eve and Samantha, they would find what they were looking for completely. She had bigger fish to begin thinking about frying.

It took Samantha only a bit longer to find what she was looking for and taking the same precautions she let Eve wipe their search into the files, smiling as she looked at the drive and started off to the trial. Someone needed these and it would be quite interesting to see just how the sith that thought they were clever to trick the dark lord would deal with their lies being exposed and their own positions in danger for daring this. You did not mess with Alexandra and Arcanix, and the pleasure of having this opportunity was that it eliminated threads to Sith Dominion of the galaxy through the infighting of the old sith empire.
