Setting an example.

Jusik had made up his mind. The Sith Apprentice and formerly the youngest Admiral in probably the history of anywhere had resigned his commission within the Imperial Navy and approached the Stormtrooper liaison aboard on of the fleet's SDs and requested an enlisted contract. The Sergeant had thought it was a joke at first and laughed it off, calling him sir and the like. It took Vince more than a few times to get through to him.

This decision had come from the looks he got from men twice his age who the Emperor had placed his in charge of after a brief discussion of tactics with the hulking Graug. The decision had thrown the nineteen year old for a loop and originally he'd embraced the promotion. Until he noticed the effect on moral. The example it set.

Be a friend to the Emperor and advance immediately, regardless of experience.

This was not what they needed, not while they were rebuilding the Empire from it's ashes. After a couple weeks he told the Emperor of his plans and was nearly killed when he'd mistaken it for an insult. Vince had to frantically explain that he was only attempting to strengthen their principles. After some persuasion, the Emperor agreed to this course.

What had originally been a quest for power had become a quest for order. Jusik was a true believer in the Imperial Path. Fascism was the way to enlightenment. The ultimate compilation of strength and unity.

But in order to achieve such enlightenment one needed to start at the bottom. To obey before one could lead. So he had. He'd forfeit his opportunity to exploit his force powers for personal gain under the Emperor's tutelage or learn to lead with the lives of fellow Imperials.

The training process had been what he'd expected. Weeks of pain, meticulous attention to detail, and physical training combined with combat training. Esprit de corp, the whole nine. A Sith had undergone it and resigned to a life of duty and honor.

Private Jusik. Stormtrooper.
