Seskel's Training

Seskel, upon instructions, walks through the doorway of the training room, an eyebrow raised until his gaze finally reaches Master Dragonsflame. He waves and steps to the side of him. "G'morning, sir." Seskel says firmly, putting his hans behind his back. He honestly didn't know if he was ready to train today, seeing as how he didn't get much sleep as his anxiety was acting up last night. But he knew he had to.

"Where do we start, sir?" He asks, moving his hands from his back to his sides. His hair was curly and messy, his eyes were burning. A yawn leaves his lips as he shakes his head slightly.

Josh didn't know Seskel prior to the training like he did Douglas or Dusaro. But he had still pledged to do what he could with his training, to train him to become a true Jedi Knight... Seskel would find him in the training hall, as he had been summoned to. His legs were crossed, his eyes closed, as he remained seated, not moving. Calm, collected... Relaxed. He stayed there a moment, relaxed... Serene. And then he would rise to his feet, not looking at Seskel or verbally answering his question, as he held out a hand. A training lightsaber would fly from the nearby rack and into his hand. Training lightsabers worked the same as their more official counterparts, except they were turned down to low power permanently. They were not meant to be used in combat situations, only training.

And with that, he would toss it back over his head for Seskel to catch, before turning to face his new Padawan. It was clear that he had called her for lightsaber training in this instance, to start him off. It was his specialty, after all... His gaze was fierce, and yet serene at the same time. Emotional... Yet emotionless. Blank and yet full of life.

Seskel had been training with him for a good while now. Not as long as the other three, he was the newest of the bunch. But he at least knew how to use the thing to a degree by now. This was a usual routine for them. Josh did not have to say a word, Seskel would know by now what they would be practicing right now.

He motioned for Seskel to make the first move as he would take his own lightsaber from his belt. While he turned it down to low power, he did not activate it just yet. He wanted to see Seskel's speed, his ability... His progress.

Seskel takes a deep breath and shuts his eyes for a second opening them again and eyeing his master. He wasn't quite sure which approach he should take. "any route I go, he's going to counter it..." He thinks to himself, his face straight and serious. "Straight at him would probably not be my best approach, from the top would be a little better, but still a no go..." He envisioned every possible path, strike, and counter-attack that He could take and or do.

He finally decides and starts rushing at his master, he decided that he would take a swing to his front. But with a twist. As Seskel reaches him, he swings at his front, pulling back instantly and swinging at his side with as much force and precision as he could. It was the best plan he could think of at the moment and he would just have to let the rest play out, for better or for worse.

He had to admit, that all the other times Seskel had gone up against Master DragonsFlame, he handed Seskel his own ass, but this time he was going to try his hardest to stop that streak, at least not get defeated as bad as usual.

Josh simply waited, watched and waited. Lightsaber off but in his hand and ready to swing at a moment's notice. The moment that Seskel would swing, Josh would move back a little, but still did not ignite his lightsaber. Of course, Seskel had performed a feint, and Josh moving back had cleared distance, but Seskel would charge again and attack with a swing to his side. This time, Josh ignited his lightsaber, the blue blade humming as he would quickly move the blade to block the shot.

A little spin of the blade would bat Seskel's saber to the side, and Josh would respond by going on the offensive. A quick slash toward the chest, before spinning quickly, his lightsaber in position to stop an attack while he was in the motion, before slashing for his side. He was going slower for now, but knew the battle would heat up as time went on.
