Description:
The Serpent-Class Starfighter is a light Starfighter, sacrificing armor and weapons for greater speed when compared to other Starfighters. It relies heavily on its superior speed and maneuverability to avoid enemy fire, rather than letting the armor plating take the hits. The Serpent is classified as an Interceptor, since it has high speed and maneuverability, but less armor and weapons when compared to Starfighters like the TIE-Fighter or the X-Wing.

The Starfighter’s main purpose is to take down enemy Starfighters and, if the pilot’s good or lucky enough, even larger missiles. The Starfighters speed and maneuverability plays a big role in this, since it needs to be able to outrun, chase and outmaneuver enemy ships. For this reason the engineers who made the designs included powerful engines and light alloys into the ship’s design to allow for high mobility and speed. It also has Countermeasures to defend against lock-on missiles.

In summary the ship is an Interceptor that is used as a quickly deployed anti-Starfighter/Bomber ship. It has light armoring and can’t take much damage but makes up for it with increased speed and maneuverability.

Okay, sounds like your standard interceptor and this is a very good first ship submission.
Only thing needing a touch-up is the missile launchers. Concussion missiles already lock on and you need to list out the number of missiles carried. Up to four for each launcher in this case.
Oh, and if this ship has shields they should be listed in the Non-combat attachments area.

Changes made:
2 Lock-on Missile Launchers --> 2 Concussion Missile Launchers (4 Missiles each)
Added the ''Defender'' Deflector Shield Generator to the Non-combat attachments area.

Alright, I've been thinking about this quite a bit and I've decided to ask you to change the shield. The only cannon usages mentioned are on a tough fighter and an 'elite' fighter, interceptors are notorious for having minimal shielding and fighters in general usually only have ray shields to stop laser blasts.
