Ayra saw Colonel Asemir as a factor that required dealing with, and so she saw it differently from JN-4. The rank Colonel suggested that the man had some skill, and for a Sith Lord, someone with skills were always useful. But weighing up the pros and cons, as she often did, Ayra had decided that Asemir becoming aware of JN-4's existence was problematic. Whether or not that problem was small or large remained to be seen. It appeared this Asemir was long gone, and whilst he had given JN-4 his code for help, that call was entirely dependent on whether or not it was made. It became clear what would happen next.
"To me, it seems this Asemir wasn't a good man. It could even be said that he could have been involved in the destruction of this base." Ayra was lying now and she was lying well. She couldn't know that Asemir was Republic, and it appeared that JN-4 had turned down his offer to help, instead content to wait for the return of the Imperial Remnant. But there were ways to twist events to suit her needs, something that Pandeima had instructed her well in.
"Think about it, Joon." The Sith Lord begun to pace around the clone, head bowed, eyes averted from her as she walked and spoke. "He finds you here, alone, with a weapon that can't be used. He says he will help you, but leaves, only leaving you with the means to contact him. It suggests to me that he wanted to use you to discover more about this base, and by extension, the project that gave birth to you and your late sisters."
Ayra stopped, lifting a hand to JN-4's shoulder, offering sympathy. "I believe he knew that someone from the Remnant would return here one day, and so he wanted to use you, so that when that person returned- so that when I came here- you would contact him, so he knew when to come back. And when he did come back and find us both, he would have killed us, Joon, so as to finish the job that he and his people started here."
"If I were in his position at the time- as I am now- I would have offered you more than a mere means to communicate with me. I would have offered you warmth." Ayra withdrew her hand away from JN-4's shoulder, so that she could slip her arm through the sleeves of the Sith robe she wore. Pulling the garment off herself, the Sith Lord placed it around JN-4's body, helping her keep it around her frame before letting go. She was left in the comfortable, yet stylish clothes native to Chandrila that she had worn beneath the robe.
"And protection." Ayra lifted her arm back around JN-4's shoulder, pulling her into an embrace, standing over her protectively. "I would have offered meaning, guidance and answers to your questions." She had done this already. The clone knew the Imperial Remnant was gone, and so there was nothing else for her to stay here for.
"But before we leave this place, Joon, we have to put all of this to rest. To safeguard ourselves from our enemies and those that would mean to hurt us. Will you let me help you do this?"
