  • Carefully constructed to feel natural in both weight and distribution of said weight
  • EMP/Ion Shielding
  • Alchemized Ceramic & Rubber Skin
  • Pain-Sensors can be toggled via neural command
  • Arms operate without any mechanical whirring or other noises common among cheaper designs

STRENGTHS
  • Durable – The ceramics used in the creation of the “skin” of this cybernetic suite is alchemically enhanced. Use lightsabers, knives, hammers, whatever you like – these things aren’t coming apart under anything short of “direct impact with a small starship” level forces.
  • Shielded – Sera likes her toys to stay functional, thank you very much. This suite’s interior electronic components are shielded against electromagnetic surges, and can remain functional even when exposed to the effects of military-grade EMP and Ion blasts.
  • Sera Crush – The mechanical nature of these beauties means that Sera can apply much more force than the average human to a number of tasks. Such tasks include; strangulation, punching, and pulling things apart. A number implants to reinforce the connection between Sera’s skeletal and muscular systems (primarily along the spine, upper back and chest) ensure that she doesn’t rip herself apart while she does this.
  • The Dark Side Giveth Due to the alchemical nature of the ceramics used in its construction, this cybernetic suite is naturally attuned to the Dark Side of the Force, protecting Sera against the feeling of being “unwhole” that some Force Users report when implanted with cybernetics. On a more practical note, they also provide her with one of the same benefits as a sith sword; they amplify her power and refine her control over the Dark Side of the Force.

WEAKNESSES
  • The Dark Side Taketh Away – No matter how finely crafted they are, no matter how attuned to the Dark, these are still cybernetics. Sera is cut off from using certain abilities that require living flesh as a conduit, like Force Lightning, in the traditional manner.
  • Spiritually Fragile – Although almost impossible to damage via physical means, these cybernetics have one glaring weakness; they are infused with the Dark Side. When exposed to intense Light-Side power (such as Force Light), the ceramic shells become brittle and fragile, and may break apart on their own, exposing the much less durable desh-terenthium layer beneath. This can be repaired later, of course, but it’s still horrifically painful for Sera to experience, and gets rid of that pesky “almost invulnerable” thing for the duration of the fight.
  • Force Dependent – Anything which dampens or blocks one’s connection to the Force, such as a Ysalamiri Bubble, negates the effects of The Dark Side Giveth and Darkest Whispers so long as Sera remains within the area of the effect.
  • Darkest Whispers – While they don’t actually whisper to her, Sera’s arms are objects of the Dark Side that are constantly in close proximity to her. As her power in the Dark Side grows, so does her own inherent Darkness; her passions and desires grow more extreme, and the self-restraint on which she prides herself becomes that much harder to maintain.

DESCRIPTION
Being an Assassin – especially a Sith Assassin – carries with it some inherent drawbacks. Loneliness is common, for example, as is a tendency to develop anti-social or sociopathic tendencies. By far the worst aspect of the job, however, is the ever present risk of personal injury. Very few people exemplify this risk as much as Sera Sadow currently does; after only a small number of unfortunate on-the-job incidents, the Initiate found herself both armless and harmless. As her life’s calling is more or less the premeditated inflicting of harm upon other people, this simply could not stand.

That’s where this beautiful rig comes in.

Based on a standard template and personalized by Sera Sadow and [member="Darth Ophidia"], this cybernetic suite is designed to improve Sera’s combat efficiency, survivability, and style. Thin Ceramic plates and rubber coating, both enhanced with alchemy, provide superb protection. Sithly Magicks turn the cold mechanical implants into something familiar, comforting, even advantageous. And mechanical strength turns the once frail girl into a force to be reckoned with in the grapple.

Of course, it’s not all great. Force Lightning is forever out of Sera’s reach, and now – with objects of the dark side quite literally grafted into her body – she’s more vulnerable to the burning brightness of the Light than ever.

Even the power she’s granted is a double edged sword; the Dark Side corrupts, in mind if not always in body, and although Sera is more adept than most at self-control, at the time of this writing, she certainly isn’t ready for this sort of power. It might just break her.

Or it might not.
