Compared to the past, the current era of history is the most chaotic. Numerous factions and governments have emerged in the wake of the Darkness, and many of said entities house several wielders of the Force. Now, more than ever, the possibility of encountering a lightsaber is incredibly high; and duels of such nature can now be considered commonplace. In light of this reality, Stargo Forge Works conceived and develop a relatively simple piece poised to assist its customers in walking away from their duels alive and in one piece.
Known as the Sentinel Dueling Glove, this particular piece appears as a relatively lightweight glove composed of small, metal rings. Within said rings is a lining of batiste poised to prevent chaffing and to add comfort when worn. It is to be noted that the Sentinel Dueling Glove is not intended to replace the gauntlets or gloves already utilized by individuals, but to worn underneath them instead. Through this, a customer can enjoy quality hand protection even when wearing civilian clothes.
Furthermore, each glove is hand crafted and has been treated with the basic processes of Alchemy to result in a single, special property. The Sentinel Dueling Glove is completely impervious to the blades of lightsabers: a fact that would make this a duelist's best friend. During lightsaber combat, the hands are easily the most dangerous and the most vulnerable parts of the body. Accidentally striking one's own hand, or intentionally targeting another's, is a high risk that every saber-wielder knowingly faces. Through wearing this lightweight form of protection, a customer can circumvent said risk and fight on all the better.
It is to be noted that, while the Sentinel Dueling Glove is an excellent form of hand protection, it is not invincible by any stretch of the imagination. Due to the painstaking process of crafting individual rings one after another (resulting in only a minor sum of this product on the market and its price tag), only a single alchemical process was undertaken. As such, the Glove does not have a heightened durability against any other battlefield threat, such as blasters and explosives, and can be destroyed. This shortcoming aside, the Sentinel Dueling Glove is an exceptional piece of personal protection that would compliment the arsenal of numerous combatants.
