Description: Selka's lightsabre is a makashi-optimized weapon with very good cutting power, within the same order of magnitude as a lignan-, pontite-, or qixoni-powered sabre, or advanced circuitry such as those found in Exar Kun's lightsabre. Its balance is excellent for its intended purpose. Its yellow blade won't give Selka away as a Sith when she has her Force presence de-Darkified, but won't set her too far apart when she's on Sith operations, and the color is common enough so that she doesn't stand out. She selected a Sigil crystal over bloodshine, Qixoni, and Lignan for purposes of not giving her Dark Side allegiance away.
The sabre's circuitry is advanced, courtesy of her fairly significant fortune and the large part of her personality stolen from two separate Masters. Notably, her sabre's circuitry contains a bifurcating cyclical ignition phase, permitting underwater operation, and its activation loop contains no dimetris circuits, rendering it immune to cortosis. In short, it incorporates the standard advances of the Skywalker-era Jedi Order, as well as one of the innovations found in at least one ancient lightsabre. It represents a consolidation of fairly basic existing advances, but no great leap forward in lightsabre technology.
Selka has a Nightsister blood trail on her sabre, within the casing. This link cannot be sensed or altered by others; it allows her to find her lightsabre wherever it goes. This link does not function if she or her lightsabre are within ysalamir fields, etc.
